Why does everyone think the predators came back to slaughter Narus tribe?
Predators have never been portrayed as doing anything like that, even before going into comic stuff. Just no sport in it

most anons have 0 imagination
Naru was pregnant with the predator's baby, and when they came back for him, now chieftain Naru gave her son the pistol.
Then explain the Preds having the gun again nerd.
At the end of the animated credit scene, two predator ships are landing close to their village. Why they returned is not explained. Could be another hunt, or they forgot something.
what if naru joined them when they came back like noguchi does in the avp series and then she eventually dies on a hunt or something and the pred 2 clan leader takes it?
I know that's the okham razor answer. but couldn't it be that predator acknowledge that Naru's tribe has strong preys and they came later to hunt some of them maybe Naru's son or grandson who inherited the gun?
Enjoy learning that in Prey 2
this. morons trying to speculate what it all MEANS. it means get your wallet out morons.
A good question for another time.
Literally endless options for a 300 year time difference
seems to be something tradition with predator 2 and a comic, i won't say much more
“You give us that standard ass weapon for our badass prey museum, we give you a spear that for us is standard but for you will be really useful as a prize for being badass”
What happens to the predators space ship when they die on a hunt? Do they tell someone if in not back by Tuesday go check earth?
I imagine there’s a mod team making sure the predator isn’t just butchering civilians so he can go “look at my awesome human skulls :)”
the youngblood depicted in prey definitely had the support of his elder elites on board though
>youtube lorehomosexuals claiming this is an entirely different tribe than the original predators to explain the differences in appearance and intelligence
>has old predator's guns from the first movies
a lot can happen in 100+ years
The gun breaks the lore. The gun was made in 1715, the gun was then passed directly to the predator 3 years later which then gives it to Harrigan in predator 2.
How the frick did some French Canadians get ahold of the gun when it was in the predator's possession for 300 years after it was made
yea just ignore the comic, that would be like the aliens comics causing conflict with the later movies, 2 different universes
How was it different in appearance? Slight skin color variations and different headgear? He still had blinky buttons.
The ships you see in the end credits are part of an NGO called "Save the Tards", they came to sue Naru and her tribe for assaulting and killing a mentally challenged Predator. Eventually they seized all their goods including the gun
It's the safest assumption so far given what we know
Given what we know about predators?
>”it didn’t kill you because you were unarmed, no sport”
>”take it”
>the ending of AVP
In fact the only predator movie to imply “war” between preds and humans is “the predator”
They're living vicariously through the Predators and imagining getting revenge on all the women who've wronged them in their lives.
>Predator 2 ends with a cool hint of a historic past with Predators
>Predator giving the gun indicates a sense of honor in the Yautja in regards to other warriors
>lets fans (and comics) come up with a fun story about a Pirate and Predator teaming up/fighting.
>soft reboot retcons all this just to make a reference
>now the gun is pointless and symbolizes nothing
I hate corporations
Is the franchise even big enough that fans regard comics as canon lore? I'm just watching that pirate story on Youtube, it's a pretty cool idea and I had no idea it existed.
yaujta having honour has always been canon lore though
Blowing up when losing doesn't seems honorable to me
it's like seppuku but alien
it is literally THE most honourable outcome
if a bunch of tribals got pred tech they'd dominate the world
touche
I'm not even talking about canon lore though. I only found out about the pirate comic the other day, but I have imagined a Predator/Pirate story since seeing the movie. He kills a Predator and the Predators present him with a pirate gun, there is a lot implied in that scene and now none of it makes (simple) sense because they wanted a dumb reference.
My father's name was Raphael Adolini
also the videogames AVP aren't bad, they're quite fun if you choose the predator campaign and want to get a rough idea of the lore
i want to watch this film but i don't know where to find it, any recommendations?
It’s only on Hulu but movies7 generally works
