Look at Owl House, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Star Vs, Rick & Morty. Now look at Molly McGee. There’s a stark difference.

          [...]
Here's my take on it anon.

Still a lore show, just a different type of lore show. OP should have been more specific. The only difference is all lore is mostly focuses on the lives of the ghost and the living. A slice of life.

It's not a heroic epic like the other lore shows, where it's Man vs Evil that looms in the horizon. It's a lore show because it explores the stories of the ghosts and living. It doesn't do things like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Owl House, and Star Vs.

It doesn't hate Lore, it merely uses lore in a different manner. So I don't get why Molly hates Lore show, it's a Lore Show that's a slice of life, in a way.

I don't know what you mean anon, all these shows had very comfy kino season 1s before season finale came in where the plot started to kicked in. Or well, I don't know about Rick & Morty lore though, I see it more as a continuity than lore. Also havn't seen Steven.
            >Gravity Falls
Season 1 was basically Dipper figuring out the book whole season, was thirsty for Wendy, small build up toward Gideon season 1 finale. Tons of monster of the weeks episodes, some of which doesn't get brought back untill Weirdmageddon.
            >Star VS.
Most of season 1 was comfy wacky episodes. Small build ups on the Villians (mainly Toffee) that doesn't make a big role until season 1 finale where the lore started to kick in. And I guess blood moon and the play Star made where we get a hint Mewni were conquer racists.
            >Amphibia
Most season 1 episodes were comfy character/worldbuilding with Anne growth, we only get a glimse on Sasha in episode 1, one segment on episode 10, then season 1 final hit and that's when the lore/story started to kick in.
            >Owl House
Started mediocre where the main focus was on Eda, Luz + Amity and some build up on the covenants/Belos that didn't kick in untill season 1 finale.
            >Molly McGee (soo far)
Season 1 have comfy episodes, McGees makes a home, getting friends and etc. while Scratch gets used to (and enjoy) the new family moving in to him. Meanwhile, the season have build up the ghost council that will most likely have a big part on the season 1 finale where the lore, WILL MOST LIKELY, start to kick in.

        >Saved Adventure Time

Yes, no denying that. The only thing I'd argue something bad that AT did was set a standard for Lore Shows, like every loreshow has to have this set amount of moments akin to adventure time.

Just no. A show can have lore and not be like Adventure Time. It doesn't need to be all adventure.

        >story driven adventure mystery shows like Amphibia and Owl House got cancelled
        >comedy shit like this stays up
I hope it never gets a Twitter following and gets cancelled

I think that's where people gets it confused. Adventure Time, Owl House, and Amphibia are all in the adventure genre while the Ghost is mostly a slice of life comedy.

All of them have lore detailing how their world operates, but the Ghost show is just Lore lite.

    A reminder:
Story driven shows, gag a minutes and everything in between can all co-exist.
Boxing the entirety of animation into singular genres instead of exploring it as a medium has been detrimental to animation as an art form.
To dismiss the shows helped inspire modern creators to make their own works is asinine.
You need happiness with sadness, white with black, to show the good with the bad.
If what you are making is true to your own heart, there will be someone out there that will enjoy it.
And most of all: Industrycuck is a mentally ill canadian flip who has severe daddy issues and is a compulsive liar as well.
