Dude, they were planning on doing another season with the focus on starfire, plus, you know, countless years of comic storylines to get inspiration from.
something something, they ruined my childhood
something something, fat jokes
something, something, makes fun of the fans of the old show even though they were shitting on this show first
Enter is autistic as frick and Growing Around is one of the most moronic concepts I have ever heard in my life, but the weird thing about him is that most of the time he's either right for the wrong reasons or he's right but just delivered what he was trying to say poorly. What's his secret?
A bunch of people started posting mildly funny clips of the show on twitter and most people seemed to enjoy it except for autists and apparently trannies
I just remember seeing a clip of them making fun of Jared Leto's joker and everyone seemed to enjoy it except autists, don't know about the troony part though lol
If they wanted to make a show with the laziest toilet humor ever they could have done it without dragging the original franchise through the mud by using original characters. If it wasn't the Teen Titans IP it would be Fanboy and Chum Chum-tier irrelevant.
'disrespect' of source material, veers into being very obnoxious and relatively cheaply made. it's not super low budget but the use of puppet animation and limited backgrounds really show in some episodes, especially when there's little segments that are hand-animated that are really memorable. plus my main issue with it is that it utterly dominated the schedule for many years on CN and I imagined it was just cheaper to blast reruns of this show all the time than continue to hand over royalties for other shows to be reran.
it's an attitude I cannot stand from modern creators but I find it weird how TTG isn't the worst offender of that disrespect, but it seems to have set a terrible trend at least within animation
muh childhood
muh mean spirited
muh raven coombait
muh grim & gritty
muh fun is forbidden
muh I am old and not the audience even tho it has a shitload of DC references
Wrong place wrong time. On the heels of a bunch of action shows getting cancelled, TTG felt like a slap in the face to audiences who just wanted something of substance. Also the initial excitement when people thought it would be an ‘03 revival added extra resentment that it was just a comedy using the same IP, and there was nothing to replace Young Justice as a super hero show on the channel. But all that could’ve been forgiven if the show hadn’t then gone out of its way to troll critics who voiced disappointment, and gaslight people into thinking their show was some plucky underdog proving all the haters wrong rather than being a literal channel hog sucking up all the airtime.
1) It's really, really shit. The kind of shit where it's clear no one was trying effort or money-wise.
2) The original show was not really shit, even people who didn't like it can accept that.
3) At the height of it's "popularity" , CN kept playing the show even more than Ben10 & Naruto at their time, so if you wanted to escape it you had to quit watching the channel until late at night.
4) THE PRODUCTION TEAM WERE buttholeS who went out of there way to make whole episodes antagonizing critics of the show. They lumped all negative criticism of the show as "butthurt fanboys", even though people who didn't like the original show (like me) had a lot to hate.
5) None of the cast remotely acted like their original selves, so it's clear they were just tricking idiot kids into viewing instead of putting out a decent product.
6) IT SPAWNED EVEN MORE REALLY SHIT SHOWS, AND THE CHANNEL NEVER REALLY GOT RID OF IT'S CANCEROUS INFLUENCE.
Because it airs way too much in the States, and apparently, the fandom of TT 2003 was still very butthurt over their show being cancelled (10 years later, after 5 seasons, a special and a movie...) and decided that this harmless chibi version shidds on their favorite cartoon's grave. It didn't help that after a while, the writers of TTG started firing back at the internet "critics" in a pretty undignified manner, and in general, people love forming mobs and autistically hating on things. So yeah, TTG was declared The Worst Show Ever of the day, and 10 years later, people are still hating on its carcass out of force of habit and because they are pissed that it outlived all their favorite cartoons and is still taking up the airtime.
Because literally everyone wants another season of the original show, but instead they keep getting Toddler Titans.
The writers of the original series literally ran out of ideas by the time they were done. If we got any more it would suck

Better question. How come the hatedom suddenly switched.
It's no longer le cringe bad internet critics reeing about this show, now it's Troon Twitter.
QRD?
Anon's obsession has led him to believe everything comes back to twitter.
Kids actually like it and it even looks better, so it's better by default than calarts shows.
In American animation, yes
>Kids actually like it
But they're moronic kids so who cares?
>and it even looks better
No it fricking doesn't.
Shut up you nasty manchild. Cartoons are for actual children, not frustrated trolls who no longer have any joy in their lives.
There are objective metrics to evaluate artwork and I do not care how things look like to you. Nor does anybody else.
If John k said this show was shit you wouldn't be saying these things
>Cartoons are for actual children
Lol
>Cartoons are for actual children
If you would show this:
to children then thank you, guy for confirming that you are in fact a groomer
I think actual critics realized they were wasting their time and meme people started finding good clips to watch outside the show and laugh at
>It's no longer le cringe bad internet critics reeing about this show, now it's Troon Twitter.
Please spoonfeed me
Remember when everyone REEEEED that they turned raven into a funny horse show fan?
The only members of the cartoon community still b***hing about the show only do it because "ewww that joke is heckin offensive ewwww"
These are the same ones that b***h about cross-armed avatars and turned on MrEnter when he became "too problematic" for them
>The only members of the cartoon community still b***hing about the show only do it because "ewww that joke is heckin offensive ewwww"
Please post examples, I'm in of a lol
You can probably find the Naked Halloween thread on tbharchive
homie someone told you to "go eat a dick gay" and you said it was grooming, you do NOT have a right to call anyone a fricking manchild.

Proofs?

le cringe bad internet critics trooned out

The show went out of its way to disrespect the OG Teen titan cartoon a couple of times. Pretty shitty way to treat the fans tbh

Who the frick is butthurt over that?
Also she's literally a walking caricature compared to the original show
The version where Cyborg wins
The satire was too subtle
the original show got canceled and did not finish.
This is a reboot/revival, and nearly tramples over the original in almost every way.

TTGO proves that you can be successful and entertain without DEEP LORE and LGBT pandering
Off the top of my head:

It attacks the haters, It's still going strong (More eps than any other Time Warner TV cartoon)
The people who hate this show can't recognize kino.
Sour grapes, sour grapes, you got them sour grapes.
>Sour grapes, sour grapes, you got them sour grapes.
Shit call me jim i'm cumming
Because it succeeded whereas Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile never will.
