It didn't work when they changed voices in Squidbillies and it won't work here. Especially when the show has such an emphasis on improv. They also have to recast a lot of wacky alien characters and can't rely on Justin to voice new ones.
On the flip side, I've always found the Justin praise a little annoying. The show has always felt more like a Dan Harmon show and the only reason I watched it in the first place was because I liked Community. It's essentially "what if an old Abed and a young Abed had space adventures" the show. Yet the fans constantly shat on the real creator while acting like a Maria Bamford wannabe was the true talent.

You have my sympathies OP. It must have been truly soul-crushing to hear the joyful news of a woman being brutalized, hoping that it would be the final killing blow to a show you stopped caring about years ago, only to be b***h-slapped by the reality that no network would ever self-immolate by axing their most popular, and really, only show that's keeping them afloat.

He looks like he would totally do it, but yeah, an ex reporting "he hit me!" now for somethibg that happened in 2020 is a load of BS, and they shouldnt have fired him for it. Much less so before he's even convicted.

he didn't get dropped because of the battery accusations. He got dropped because he was grooming underage girls and admitted to being attracted to minors on a podcast.

Except they did by firing the creative force and voice of the show. Rm is over now.

Only thing keeping adult swim alive. Without it as is nothing, there is nothing worth watching there, it is all fricking garbage, adult swim is basically dead its the Rick and Morty channel now, they need Rick and Morty to justify their existence at this point.

Cartoons have been losing their main writers, directors, and VA's for decades and still manage to continue on. This is nothing new, same for any show really.

R&M wouldn’t even be popular in the first place without AS shilling it so hard all the time early on. The network wanted it to be popular and did every promotional stunt they could to force it into being their “greatest hit show”.

Without that, R&M would’ve easily been forgotten and cancelled within the first season.

It's called advertising, you insufferable pseudointellectual moron. Jesus. Did you expect them NOT to invest R&M profits into promoting the series or what?

Roiland could become a neonazi and Harmon rape a non-doll baby and AS would still keep that show alive.

Contractual obligation. They already signed a deal for 100 episodes, they cancel they'll have to pay out the ass for it.
