well Joe Rogan is a professional comedian, he paid his dues at the store. He also has expanded his mind with weed and hallucinogens and uses that to his advantage.
Most people trying to do what he does are ideologically driven. Rogan is, for the most part, quite open minded and usually gets his guests to deliver the best version of whatever it is they want to talk about without shutting them down or strawmanning them
I've never seen a complete episode but I think it's because Rogan has a blue-collar, everyman vibe to him. He's personable, seems pretty real, doesn't come across as some shrill fruitcake like every single zoomer or millenial I've seen clips of emulating his style. It's a cliche but he seems like a guy you could have a beer with and talk about anything from the World Series to Harambe with. I wouldn't want to spend my time in real life with a skinnyfat numale with a retarded looking haircut and a voice like nails on a chalkboard. I might hang out with Rogan.
I also think he does a pretty good job for the most part of asking topical questions and really trying to get at what his guest is saying without being antagonistic or talking over his guest. Again, he's had some subpar moments but for the most part he does a fine job
>blue-collar, everyman vibe to him. >Raised by hippies in California, hasn't had a 'real' job since he was 16, has been a celebrity for over 20 years, was a typical California progressive until around 2016.
I like Rogan but the last thing I'd call him is blue collar. He's somewhat down to earth I think because if it weren't for his podcast he'd only be known by the general public as that guy who hosted Fear Factor and The Man Show a really long time ago. I think his 'trustworthiness' is due to his show largely being independently produced for most of its history and he doesn't play 'tricks' in interviews or buckle under public pressure. I have noticed he's gradually toned a lot of things down since his vaccine controversy, and the overall quality of his podcast has gone down since he sold his soul to Spotify.
>What's his secret sauce that a zoomer or millennial has been unable to replicate? >just bring in random people and talk about shit and fling it around >people are too lazy
that's it really there is no sauce just shit.
the podcast has sucked for the past 5 years, Joe is old and completely out of touch now. He constantly repeats himself and is responsible for bringing a bunch of awful comedians and people to fame through his podcast.
There have been plenty. Every celebrity and their mother has an interview style podcast now. The only problem is that none of them good and Joe still dominates the market
i think his secret is that he literally just enjoys doing podcasts
joe gets obsessive about niche shit and uses the podcast as an excuse to talk to experts in whatever he is into at the moment
he invites guests to talk about pool or bow hunting or some obscure shit that would never get green lit in a highly produced podcast that is trying to maximize listener engagement
most podcasts are trying to chase the current trend, and joe does too to some extent. but then he will follow it up with a mushroom expert and an expert in fringe archeology. his guest list is a total anomaly if you compare it to any other talk show or radio show
I'm 30 years old and for the life of me I will (happily) never understand the appeal that millenials and zoomers have with this gay faggy nagger shit called "podcasts". What a fucking absolute gay waste of time. It's like radio but even more faggy.
I don't even like Joe that much but all of these people seem so much worse. It feels like almost anyone could sit down and have a conversation with Joe but these people you'd actively go out of your way to avoid.
Is this guy still relevant? Haven't watched a single episode from his podcast but I remember his name popping everywhere back in 2020 because he made lefties angry by promoting antivax ideology or something
Edgy brah episodes are always good. I also like Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson episodes those two are great together, I could listen to them talk about lost ancient civilizations for days.
He's not entirely astro-turfed and disingenuous/fake like someone like Lex Fridman who popped up out of nowhere and they were trying to push recently.
Hate that annoying smug kike. Has zero personality and should be nowhere near a microphone/podcast setting
what was that last podcast he did with Musk? they literally just ate pizza and talked about Musk wanting to fight Zuckerberg for half of it
Zoomers and millennials are braindead retards that can't hold a conversation.
Yeah we already know he is, it goes without saying
What a nasty gay bald boomer. Delete this thread now.
That's really mean, you really could hurt his feelings, he browses Cinemaphile

No one respects him as a comedian. Him being terrible at standup is always the awkward elephant in the room.
He's not that bad. I actually watched one of his specials once. It was mildly entertaining.
it's true but it doesn't seem to matter
he makes up for it by being so interesting a. memeable, even if you're laughing at him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iaq6BYAjSIo

2 shows in syndication, one of which you also got a big check for during initial filming, isn't something you can ever do again.

Rogan is known since his days of Fear Factor and the UFC scene. Who are the other homosexuals with podcasts?

radio is all ads and the same stupid station announcement every ten seconds. like fuck off, i know what station I'm on. fuck radio.
They keep trying to replace him with uninteresting effeminate homosexuals. There are no leftist males that people actually like.
*ahem*
I don't even like Joe that much but all of these people seem so much worse. It feels like almost anyone could sit down and have a conversation with Joe but these people you'd actively go out of your way to avoid.
They are horrible narcissistic dipshits.

Haven't seen an episode of jre for a long time
What was anons favourite recent guest of his?
I liked the one with stephen c meyer although joe was being a bit of a combative child.
Mega64 became ultra woke
Jim and Them sucks whenever mike the closet homosexual libtard is on it
RadioBAM has been dead for 15 years
It's over
tbqh joe has a sincerity that millennials and zoomers just can't harness. they're too wrapped up in layers of irony and sarcasm.
The secret sauce is being put to the top of all search engine white lists by intelligence agencies.
for me, its Eddie episodes
Edgy brah episodes are always good. I also like Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson episodes those two are great together, I could listen to them talk about lost ancient civilizations for days.
Glow Rogan is a CIA asset.
