the only place marvel outpaces dc is in their one cinematic universe which has been shit since Endgame
They hired terrible writers that have no respect and some even hate the source material.
DC and Marvel both share the exact same 'talent' pool of writers, the same people have been ruining comics and characters at both companies.

You have to remember the 80s, 80, and 90s were dominated by Superman and Batman movies. It was DC back then that knew what they were doing, while Marvel movies whippered around, like Howard the Duck.
