It's a lot better than normal Disney+ schlock but it's still aimed at a younger zoomer audience. The editing and camerawork are much superior than most of their shows and is in general more creative and willing to take risks.
The acting is pretty good for what it is.
However, the writing is at times really cringeworthy, even though it does succeed at depicting a middle-class Pakistani family in the USA. The dynamic seems pretty realistic.
