Superheroes can sense that kind of stuff

It's as simple as listening for a slight pause
      There's:
      >Spiderman, which would have no pause at all between Spider and man--like Batman or Superman
      >Spidermin, which is just Spiderman said fast
      >Then Spider-Man, which has a slight pause between Spider and Man.

How do you pronounce the hyphen? Do you put a pause between saying "Spider" and "Man?"

Literally because people might’ve otherwise confused it with Superman. Both start with s and end in -erman, with a p in there and the same number of syllables. It was just to make sure there wouldn’t be any sort of error there
