>Lethal Inspection - the Hermes/Bender origin story >Prisoner of Benda - the one where the writers wrote a new mathematical proof exclusively for the episode
IDK there are a few decent ones but they're mostly "feels" episodes as opposed to comedy gold.
Your picrel is still the best of the new(er) batch
Futurama in its essence is a harrowing, heart wrenching tale of a lost man. I believe Fry speaks to the general state of most young men in this day and age. Fry is a bit stupid, with a heart of gold, yearning for love and establishment in a chaotic world. As the show progresses so does Fry’s intelligence and understanding of this world, he matures in a great way.
The shows writers add their dry humor in pockets least expected. The supporting characters such as Robot Devil, Hedonism Bot and Zapp Brannigan add a hilarious dystopian factor to the show.
Set in the year the 3000, the viewer can watch in awe at the spectacular city of New New York featuring space ships, aliens and futuristic stores. I love when fry first discovers the tubes (pff tourists).
Our protagonist will wonder forever what could have been. In the episode “luck of the fryrish” Fry is able to find out that his family misses him dearly and is even able to revisit his mother’s house in a dream. This is a very heart warming/ breaking episode and usually makes me cry.
Subjectively, I am drawn to this show based on the fact that it includes everything I need in a television series. Drama, dry humor, action.
I love all the characters, specifically the robot devil who seems to have a soft spot.
I love the setting and am fascinated with the dystopian genre.
season 1 and 2 are cringy and not funny i doesnt hold up at all. sprinkle on that the utter reddit episodes like the lava dog and the bender god and you have one of the soiest shows out there
"The Impossible Stream"
"Rage Against The Vaccine"
"Zapp Gets Cancelled"
"The Prince And The Product"
"Related To Items You've Viewed"
"Children Of A Lesser Bog"
"How The West Was 1010001"
"I Know What You Did Last Xmas"
"Parasites Regained"
"All The Way Down"
>"Rage Against The Vaccine" >"Zapp Gets Cancelled" >"The Prince And The Product" >"Related To Items You've Viewed"
Susan Boil tier poor aging bait >"I Know What You Did Last Xmas" >"Parasites Regained"
I member those >"The Impossible Stream"
might be alright if it isn't about streamers >"All The Way Down" >"How The West Was 1010001"
only ones that don't sound shit
I watched 1-5 or whatever and they felt like what I thought a "Comedy Central season" would be. It's just an american comedy with robots and geek humor.
I can't get into Simpsons and Disenchanted or whatever the Netflix one is. I like Futurama but I don't like the ending is cyclical to the beginning and I don't know it could be better
Curious, I was just thinking today why nobody talks about this show anymore. I see endless Simpsons meme groups/references everywhere I go but Futurama is just forgotten
I used to love it as a kid, watched it all several times as an adult and I don't find it all that funny anymore. The Simpsons is way funnier and is a much better show overall.
I still like Futurama but it's pretty mediocre
Original run is kino, but the movies and the second series are mid at best.
I wish the later ones hadn't tried so hard to force feels episodes without grasping why they originally worked.
i remember CC seasons were mostly meh, but had a few really good episodes, do you guys remember which were good besides picrel?
None of them

And?
Are you really letting episode names make you seethe about a cartoon?
moron
Grow up
It’s a cartoon, anon. Grow up.
moron
Grow up
You are dumb
The majority are either already dated references to current events or call backs.
If you want to defend another Susan Boil, please have a nice day

It was "le smart edgy science show" before Rick and Morty, and rode the Simpsons' coattails hard when it was first airing.
I watched 1-5 or whatever and they felt like what I thought a "Comedy Central season" would be. It's just an american comedy with robots and geek humor.
Le funny robot man is cringe
It had some good feely episodes which made it a classic to many. But the CC seasons were extremely mediocre.
It's literally underrated, I bet you think king of the hill is the best animated shoe ever. Frick you
KOTH is up there
Overrated? I'm literally angry with rage
I can't get into Simpsons and Disenchanted or whatever the Netflix one is. I like Futurama but I don't like the ending is cyclical to the beginning and I don't know it could be better

Not anymore
Curious, I was just thinking today why nobody talks about this show anymore. I see endless Simpsons meme groups/references everywhere I go but Futurama is just forgotten
wrong, there's plenty of daily referenced quotes about the show at least here in latinxmerica
because simpson were good. futurama is just a burping robot thief being improper
I used to love it as a kid, watched it all several times as an adult and I don't find it all that funny anymore. The Simpsons is way funnier and is a much better show overall.
I still like Futurama but it's pretty mediocre
It's not though.
