I mean old cars are kino and timeless, but it took me out a bit when at least one of these corposlaves would be driving a Kia Optima.

        I decide it
        >American science fiction
        >created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle
        >Executive producers: Adam Scott, Jackie Cohn
        >muh office
        >4+ black ''actors''
        it's goyslop

Anything set in an office or about an office is for NPC sub-humans. Glad you found my argument impressive though.

if you wanted one of the cars in the show in the condition they are in you'd be paying as much if not more than a new car

Isn't that the people working for the company only though? We've seen very little of the real world except Mark's neighborhood which seems to be entirely company made.

Main guy has old Camry, boss has old Civic, and gay guy has old Mustang. But in addition, every car on the street you see is also old. There aren't a bunch others, but there is not a single car made post 2000

What if they're new cars made to look like old cars, just like those computer terminals?

I think they wanted to keep the time in which it is set a little bit nebulous. The old cars help with that.

the show has a distinct "90's office show" aesthetic despite having internet so

The TVs were modern and they had smartphones. Nothing except the car were out of place in the "outside" world.

They were trying to do a soft of unique, retro-futuristic look in the first few episodes, which they kind of abandoned as the season goes on.
