I thought 4 was good beyond the fact it clearly suffered from everybody having different schedules. It had some memorable moments like Tobias as the Thing and Gob roofying himself repeatedly to the point of dementia.
Season 5 however I think I maybe got two episodes in and just couldn't care. And I was one of those "Have you heard of the greatest sitcom ever guys?" well before so was a thing.
Seasons 1, 2, and 3A: the best TV comedy I've ever seen
Season 3B: falling off the rails but still funny
Season 4: one of the least funny, character-destroying shows I've ever seen
Season 5: never watched it, heard it was atrocious, which I don't doubt
S4/5 are not canon to me. Michael left to AZ after Season 3 and never went back.
The revival shat on its legacy. I already thought season 3 wasn’t that great but now half the episodes of the series overall aren’t even good so it’s hard to call the series “good” as a whole
Because it was retroactively ruined when it was revived. Season 4 wasn't so bad until it baited for another season instead of ending.
Season four had some of the best jokes of the series, but It was so bad and meandering I couldn't believe they got another season afterwards.
I did, but I don't think it made the season any better. It's just a different kind of mediocre.
I think the edit fixes what it can, it's certainly better than slogging through S4's many episodes. S5 is better than 4 but they just should've ended on 3, it was a pretty good finale, and everyone was still in their prime.
Season 5 better than season 4? Not to me. I stopped halfway through season 5. I just couldn't watch another episode. "If I hear FakeBlock one more fricking time..."
And Maebe was certainly NOT in her prime. She hit the wall HARD between season 3 and 4. lol
what is there to talk about? yeah it's pretty funny, so? we're not your fricking friends, go get some IRL and talk about whatever autistic shit you hyperfixate on like a moron as many times as you like
only the first two seasons are good, things were starting to go off the rails and it was getting too stupid by season 3, it ended at the right time (and i pretend those rebooted seasons dont exist they were so awful)

season 4 & 5 were so bad it ruined 1-3

anyone watched the re-edited season 4?
I did, but I don't think it made the season any better. It's just a different kind of mediocre.
alrighty then. 1-3 it is.

yeah s4 had some gems but it made me not even bother starting up s5
This is wrong, but they are awful beyond repair. I'll never finish them.
Seasons 4 + 5 were definitely horrible, but 1-3 remain just as they were.
we talk about Seinfeld all the time
Too gay

Too problematic
god i miss when we could say things like that
I like the one where he works for mexicans
That was so funny

>To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Arrested Development.

Why do zoomers hate arrested development so much?
They don't have a sense of humor.

you can discuss it at length on reddit

downloading 1-3. i used to fake being sick around 2006 to stay home and watch it on dvd.
Season four had some of the best jokes of the series, but It was so bad and meandering I couldn't believe they got another season afterwards.
there's just something about this show that holds it back and I think it's the main character. I just don't like him.
I tried to watch it. Never got into it. suffered through maybe 6 eps. Deleted.
The hyper fast paced editing is uncomfy. And rich people annoy me.
>there is always money in the banana stand
Pissed away its legacy on a green screen splice job "revival".
It's funny that people were so mad that Fox cancelled it after 3 seasons, but in hindsight, it turns out they did the correct thing.
