Why is this character so appealing to me?
His costume is boring. His powers arent that interesting, but bonus points for being weird. Yet he's seems just as valid if not even more so and better than others.

He is a terrible character, it's obvious he is getting a whole transformation for the MCU, his comic version gives a frick about his family and nothing else.
He's a character that embodies the love of knowledge and exploration perhaps more than any other superhero, and his arch enemy is doctor freaking Doom which makes Reed look like a giga chad by the fact that he keeps beating one of the most infamous villains in the universe.
I don't give a frick about MCU, these people gave up on representing comicbook characters a long time ago.

Autism is essentially a brain architecture that's different from normal (i.e non neuro typical) more of a variation of the brain than a "illness" to be cured, that said the likes of Chris Chan could definitely benefit from it.

Rick is a narcissist who never really bothered to help anyone but himself, most of his problems don't have anything to do with being "smart" but he pretends like it's okay to mistreat his grandson and daughter and be an alcoholic because of how "smart" he is, basically Jerry was right about rick. Reed on the other hand continues to try to be a good friend, husband and father, even if he fails it makes him a better person and something an autist could aspire to.
