It was pretty fun. It wasn't high kino or anything, but it was a fun watch. I think it did the low-surrealism (I dunno what to call it) thing quite well.
I was surprised they gave Schumer such a big role tbh. But it's not that deep. I wouldn't watch her stand-up or a movie with either of them as the lead, but this was alright.
I had to turn off shane "I HEART BBC" Gillis tv show off when I saw that tool Andy Schultzberg.
All it takes is for one unlikeable person to ruin a show or movie. Amy Schumer was disgusting and the part of the fat woman played by McCarthy should have been a hilarious obese man a la Chris Farley.
I hate this timeline so goddamned much.
You're assuming he was ever funny.
Boomers into sterile safe stand up find him funny.
Him doing a bit about a seat belt or ice cream isn't funny to most people and he's costed off of Seinfeld the show where people think he's hilarious.
There are funny clean comedians.
I get why certain people of certain demographic would find him funny but he's not the greatest as some people like to label him.
Shit like this isn't funny
>When I was single I thought married guys were pathetic and depressing >When I was married I thought single guys were meaningless and trivial >I was correct
Earned a "heh" from me
I couldn't finish this and I was a staunch Seinfeld supporter. It's his usual humor, which is normally sensiblechuckle.gif, but he keeps referencing things that he doesn't know anything about and using words that aren't in his standard vocabulary to try to sound smart. In his old age, his desperation to be seen as someone worth listening to has driven him to not be himself.

I’m not saying he’s an amazing standup but taking the high road does garner some respect. Jerry kept Larry in check and wouldn’t let him turn his show into a a degenerate neurotic israelite off and that’s why Seinfeld will always be better than curb.

Everyone seems to forget that Larry absolutely bombed as a standup.
I know it says he wrote it but I got the feeling it was one of those movies where comedians where given a basic idea of the scene and told to improv over and over until they found something they found funny without an audience present to let them know it wasn't actually funny.
I love a good 60's period film so I was able to enjoy it for what it was, but it suffered because Jerry thought it needed to parody/reference every single little pop-culture event from the 1960's as a plot beat instead of writing any original jokes of substance.
You grew up
fricking hell this is so awful. i hope i never even see a trailer on accident one day
1 - he was never funny to begin with
2 - the movie is inoffensive and the Bill Burr part was Great!!!
3 - Frick Zoomers

What’s wrong not enough black dick jokes for you? No politics? Shut the frick up he’s just wholesome.

man he looked old in this special
Well he is old
That's why his audience is all very old people who think a boomer rant about text is side splitting hilarity
Again I get why they would find it funny but there's no substance or punchline.
Pretty funny. I'm not dying of laughter but it's funny.
Don't know what you prefer. Deadpool movie is coming out, you'll probably enjoy that.

no, sterile 'humor'

He stunk at sketch comedy too.
Failure makes us stronger and is a learning experience
Agreed. I don’t think either of them would have made it without each other.
I know it says he wrote it but I got the feeling it was one of those movies where comedians where given a basic idea of the scene and told to improv over and over until they found something they found funny without an audience present to let them know it wasn't actually funny.
he was never funny. The show (Seinfeld) was carried by the rest of the cast.
who forced him to put a pig in his movie?
Jerry needs Larry David.
Most comedians that suck Jerry Seinfeld off and call him a comedy great just want a job or connections.
He supports mass murders that are supported by Starbucks and McDonald's
