The women were all worse (in my opinion) and while Scarecrow was cool, BTAS was still a good "standard" look for the character. I can't even remember what TNBA Hatter looks like but his BTAS look is fine, albeit too tall.
I always found New Adventures Selina's redesign was strange, they made her look too minimalistic, especially giving her chalk white skin. Although I will admit Red looks so much better with chalk skin.
part of it was to make it easier for the Korean slave animators to animate so they could churn out episodes faster. TNBA churned out 26 eps in 1 year while the original TAS style took 6 years for 85 (or 14 a year)
Damn. That made me realize it is truly better to take your time and make your art the best it can be. In the end, people will remember your art more than production hiatuses.
>part of it was to make it easier for the Korean slave animators to animate
Yes. >TNBA churned out 26 eps in 1 year while the original TAS style took 6 years for 85 (or 14 a year)
No. TNBA had one 13 episode season and one 9 episode season. The first season of TAS was a 65 episode order so they could air it every weekday. It went into production in 1990, started airing in 1992 and all those episodes were aired in the course of a year.
its literally a neo gothic style, the whole fricking show is like that.
A man of taste
indeed
shego could be hot covered in mud. NS gives her such a hot sassy attitude.
What was this show again?
My life as a teenage robot
Bruce Timm is a coomer
He liked Kazuma Kaneko
The TNBA designs are truly a crime against humanity.
Eh, they work for my dick.
>Eh, they work for my dick.
yeah, but most of the btas designs work better. Like Harley had bigger hips in btas. She's built like a troony teen with no ass in NA
if ur a fgt
women were all much better, except for Catwoman
Also Scarecrow was big step up and Mad Hatter was less goofy and more pathetic as he should be
The Scarecrow redesign reminds you that a broken clock is still right twice a day.

nah, they all lost that hourglass shape
They look better than the red ones, simple as.
>Why was Bruce Timm so obsessed with giving people black lips?
a better question is why do all the women get 14 year old girl bodies at the start of New Adventures
Timm represented dark colors as black with a colored highlight. It's not just the lips, it's also Joker's hair and Ivy's leotard.

Because it's sexier. Red/earth tone colored lipstick is boring
