Why was this episode way back in season 2 still the best Jerry and Beth relationship episode

Why was this episode way back in season 2 still the best Jerry and Beth relationship episode

It’s like they can’t let Jerry change or move on because the white male must be beaten down. Let’s have him shout about his tiny penis

Just please choose something else besides a grocery store, those are so cliche and you end up getting rid of more white dudes anyway.

What was that bottle Rick put in that... window at the end of this episode? And why did he destroy the remote to open that area???

Rick found an actual love potion. It's left up to interpretation:
      1. He wanted to kill Jerry so he set up a way for Beth to cheat so he'd kill himself
      2. He wanted to wrap up his mistake with the clones and this was his solution
      3. He saw his daughter was unfulfilled and wanted to do something nice for her
      4. Him and Jerry become bros offscreen while drunk and this was actually a long play for Jerry

I think it's 4 with possibly a combo of 2 and 3. The fact that Rick got an ass tattoo of him and Jerry means that they bro out when he's wasted.

That's jut the alcohol spae Beth brought, it's not love potion. where are you getting that from?

Season 2 established that love potion is actually rape juice.

Autism? Beth said she "loves..." then changes the subject the moment she drank it. It's shaped like a woman. Rick stows it away forever afterwards. If it wasn't a love potion, it worked functionally as one.

          >If it wasn't a love potion, it worked functionally as one.
It's called alcohol. Has worked for ages, anon. I think you are reading too much into this.

Rick stowing it away is more akin to the joke of the guy having a weird dream and throwing the bottle away in the morning, telling themselves "never again".

Why do I share a board with you boneheads?
You really think that was put there to be an alcohol gag? Rick's not gonna drink anymore? That's what happened?

              >You really think that was put there to be an alcohol gag?
              Yes.
              >Rick's not gonna drink anymore?
Not what I said, anon. More like "better keep that away from the kids".

This is the kind of autism that had people posting
                >When Space Beth complimented her outfit it didn't mean anything!!!!

Anon, there is innuendo and there is making things up. Nothing indicate this is a love potion. It was always presented as alcohol and this is all this is.

Rick's drinking led to the situation creating two Beth clones, unsure who is the real Beth leading to this episode. Rick's drinking also led to Jerry getting the Pillbug transformation. Him putting the booze away at the end and shredding the controller to open the booze locker is him committing to this reality. He has quit drinking for this new family.

    >Why no relationship arc?
If Jerry became any more competent then he wouldn't be married to Beth and you'd lose your stupid sitcom family with the idiot Dad trope. Jerry didn't get Beth because he was lucky, he got Beth because he was stupid enough to tolerate Beth and her terrible baggage. Jerry is the best Beth can do. The fact Beth starts fricking her alternative self is proof she cannot form undertstandings with other people. What kind of narsacist do you have to frick your mirror image?

The last episode has literally Jerry being the more mature one in their relationship and getting a threesome.
