Norm loved Letterman, it was a roast of a colleague. It was not from a place of hate, you people read too much into shit. People used to be funny for the sake of it and nobody had their feefees hurt.
Norm and Letterman were good friends but New Yorkers as a whole are incapable of feeling anything else than hatred, envy and smugness while their failure of a city crumbles around them.
the ones good too, but the better Norm-Letterman sketch was always the first one with Spacey as William Hurt, only place that seems to have it online is Vimeo:
https://vimeo.com/96035511
this is the more famous one weird that YouTube has the inferior sequel instead but not the OG one with the classic UHHHH YA GOT ANY GUM? line
Spacey was a surprisingly good impressionist when he hosted SNL that time, busted out some gems, he shoulda become a regular host like Walken or Baldwin, too bad he never got to before he was wrongfully cancelled for being a gay man in hollywood
"Writers" entered the business. No-one is allowed to just be funny without permission, they might say the wrong things that would piss off the ((board of directors)).
When I initially watched it I'd laugh but just because I liked Norm and the punchline. I never thought he sounded much like Burt Reynolds, but the thing I've discovered is Norm is doing a very specific Burt. Watch even a second of his acting on Evening Shade and you'll see it. The mannerisms, the delayed speech, the gum chewing, all of it. It's fucking spot on. Makes it even better.
Because boomers were absolutely used to seeing Burt Reynolds on tv every night on talk or variety shows. It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that he would end up on some dumb game show.
>Mr Reynolds. >...*sigh* Turd, Ferguson.
"Yea waddaya want?" >You rang the buzzer.
"No i didn't." >Yes, you did. I just saw you.
"Yeah well that's your opinion."
Kek, what a big hat
for you.
He found it back stage.
It's funny, because it's bigger than a regular hat.
Why wasn't it?
>his name is "Turd"
This made genexers piss and shid themselves
I pid and I shid and I farded and I camd
Yeah its uhh... *chewing gum* It's a funny name.
He said it was funny. What part do you not get about it?
Yeah. It's a funny name.
This made boomers piss their pants
the only norm bit that i found funny was his letterman impression
I liked the Jim Croce anecdote and his Albert Fish bit on NML.
solid deniro impression
Check out the Joe Pesci Show skits
Maybe link it.
Pesci has always been a De Niro orbiter. Home Alone is still comfy, though.
my cousin Vinny was nice too
how old is pesci here? looks completely different
You clearly enjoy Chong.
I love how Norm mocking Letterman clearly made the audience uncomfortable. New Yorkers love nothing more than sucking their own dicks.

Baldwin is such a cheeky funny fucker on SNL

Sketch comedy has become completely soulless what happened

it's a generational thing
>millenials guffawed at this
this guy has a certain type of humour
that isnt funny. its pseudo humour. people who think theyre smart but theyre actually dumb think he is funny.
so are you a smart guy or a dumb guy?
Norm wasn't this guy at all. He mocked pseudo humour and appreciated pure comedy more than any comedian. You might be low-iq though.
I don't remember when I laughed harder than his 911 bit with Andy Dick.
You are smoking crack.
t. no dog house
>dry meat detected
Explain to the folks at home what you meant by this post
He means Norm wasn't funny and a pseud. Also Norm's fanbase are morons.
9/11

Can't refute his point
Because big hats are funny as fuck.
is that kyle rittenhouse
Thats Deputy Marshal Rittenhouse to you
Its funny because it's bigger than a normal hat?
Turd Ferguson.
>Norm has to explain why things are funny to SNL cast
Meta.
>HAH?!?
It's basically the "le fork of doom xD" of its time. Look, he calls himself TURD Ferguson. How insanely funny and original.
Sounds like something JORAN VAN DER SLOOT would do.
>haha what a huge cowboy hat
Haha I like big hat is funny
It just is, ok?
