>will calculon return in the new futurama season?
Probably
>will the futurama year be 3023? will they age the cast?
No* and no
>why did they write off calculon? how can the robot devil exists if robot hell never existed before?
Idk
Why wouldn't Futuama take place in 3023?
because Fry gets unfrozen in the year 3000 and if it were 3023 that means it's been 23 years since fry was unfrozen; they're most certainly not gonna age up the characters so while the new season will culturally be 2023(3023) they will likely not reference a new canon year for when the new season is set. Now quit badgering me
Fry gets unfrozen in 2999, not 3000.
>Fry gets unfrozen in 2999, not 3000
You got owned, twitterhomosexual.
They technically aged them up for the CC episodes right? You could argue in the future you stay in your prime longer. Bada Bing problem solved.
They also technically de-aged them biologically.
I refuse to believe Fry is not in his early 30s.
Also, Hermes' kid, what little screen time he had in the CC episodes, hasn't aged, so I assume Fry is the same.
I'd rather they all age accordingly. I want character development.
>No* and no
Futurama has always been 1000 years in the future of the current year.
Age shouldn't be a problem considering the cast has been deaged, reaged, and resurrected.
I really hope they age up the characters mentally. They may look the same as they did in 3000, but they should behave like they're approaching 50. Also they need to age up all children. It's getting ridiculous for Cubert, Dwight, and the orphans to be kids.
If "Children of a Lesser Bog" is about Kif and Leela's offspring, they'll have to mention it's been twenty years since they were born.
what's up with calculon? is he not coming back?
I'm guessing OP is thinking he might be too "rapey" for current year
Calculon wasn't really rapey at all. He was a parody of some overdramatic soap opera actor and was never really shown lusting after women all that often. If anything Bender's the more "rapey" one and no way they are getting rid of him.
Calculon died towards the end of the series, then was brought back for a single episode so he could have his character resolution then died again. It would make sense why they wouldn't bring him back if they worked with continuity, but he's a popular character so they may retcon his death or bring him back alive a second time ruining the resolution he did get.
They brought Calculon back you know. In another episode.
Yes, that is what OP's image is of.
