It's one thing for the main supervillain/super heroes to have varying powerlevels. It's another thing entirely when normal, every day humans do it.
Oh, so it's okay to have Sedusa's power level vary as much as the Girls, so she can lose to a normal woman just like the Girls may lose to normal crooks. Glad we cleared that up.
Sedusa was a glass cannon anyway, once you take care of the hair she can't stand a snowball's chance in hell to the Girls. That's why she resorted to disguises so often.
My entire point is that Sedusa should have never lost to a normal ass woman, so whatever gotcha moment you think you're having is completely moot. No, it's okay.
To clarify, Sedusa isn't one of the main supervillain. Her powers are a lot more grounded in scope so downscaling her is absurd. There's also a huge difference between losing to a group of brawby criminals and losing to a scrawny b***h with a giraffe neck.

That's what I'm hoping. Have the new PPG series be a small time jump from the original. Have them be in middle school now. You can push the story narrative and characters to new areas that you couldn't before. If the series is just more of the original, I could see people checking it out but eventually losing interest since it's just more of the same with nothing new. Don't do a reboot/sequel if you don't bring in new things to justify it bringing it back. The last reboot felt like a poor mans copy of the original that didn't bring anything new besides some bad memes inserted.
