Not saying we do, just saying Conner looked like a homosexual back in the day. Why if he had a back pocket it'd probably have a hankie in it.

              >Conner looked like a homosexual back in the day.
Conner looks like a homosexual NOW, he's been wearing his classic 90s costume ever since Bendis brought him back, he arguably looks gaygier now.

My best guess is that Bendis wanted to bring back Young Justice the way he remembered it, which meant putting everyone back in their old suits.
And that included Tim apparently, he was Red Robin through Rebirth, but Bendis made him go back to Robin, and then made him drop that for Drake, just for that dropped almost immediately cause everyone hated it, which left Tim as just Robin again.
                >Did they actually lean in on the Conner x Tim fujos wishes?
Not really actually, they later made Tim bisexual, but Conner has been pretty much free from all that bullshit.

if they are both teenagers thats not that odd. I lost my virginity in HS and so did a lot of people I know. Teen superhero's are like athletes, they are very fit, young, and full of hormones, they are gonna wanna frick.
If anything it's surprising there aren't more teen pregnancies among teen superhero's

Think of it like this, if you were a 16 year old boy with with superpowers that looks like superman and a hot blonde girl makes it very obvious she wants your wiener, are you gonna say no? How many 16 year old boys even have the self restraint necessary to say no to that?

The timeskip would be the perfect opportunity to show Connor pre- and post-transformation after all of the hormones and surgeries have gone into effect. Connor's actual coming out as trans would be in one of the YJ tie-in comics that no one reads. The important part is that all of the most crucial decisions and character work needs to happen off-screen so that there can be more time for cameos of characters that have no relevance to the plot and who you'll probably never see again after this season and more time for social issues.

          this:

Geoff Johns wanted to live out his fanfiction. You can actually find his theory on the comic feedback pages.

There was even fan letters to DC published showing Johns writing in asking for Kon to be retconned before he was hired at DC

          >Also I want to say that retcon about him being a clone of Lex and Superman is fricking stupid.
          agreed.
A better idea would have been to use Wonder Womans DNA or that of Greek god (Diana's would just be easier to get). Pagan Gods exist in DC, the government knows about them, and they can have kids multiple species (Zeus fricked just about everything). Wonder Woman's physical traits are close enough to Supermans that their child could pass for a clone and since she has magic genes it should be possible to cross her DNA with a kryptonians.
Cross breeding human DNA with an alien species is harder than just cloning, science struggles to do it even with creatures from earth IRL.

Not only that but if I was making a super-soldier meant to take on the JL I would use the DNA of the strongest man and woman I could get my hands on.

          >Am I wrong or didn’t Cadmus say in the original comics that Superman’s DNA was too complex to clone so they had to create a different clone?
that was the original idea. They couldn't figure out Kryptonian DNA so they replicated the functionality of it using a collection of metahuman genes; OG Kon had no biological parents and was a full custom DNA job. So technically OG Kon wasn't a clone.

          >How does that leave room for Lex’s DNA being in there?
it doesn't, anyone who passed highschool bio knows that it can't work like that but this is DC writes we are talking about.

          >And fricking WHY would Lex do that?
supposedly he wanted to kill Superman but kept failing so he wanted to create a child that would still be a part of him but serve his wishes. Kinda like beauty pageant moms who live vicariously though their daughters.

I can agree with Kara but Kon is less than a year old. He is a baby put in to the body of a teenager, Kara when she comes to earth has 14 to 18 years of life experience and had a mother and father. Kon had none of that, he is mentally younger than 10 year old Jon, he needs parents or at the least grandparents to raise him.

            >Tim and Damian added in the mix
I would say Kons relationship with Jon would be more like Dick and Damian. It would depend on which gen Kon is from.
If Kon is a first gen sidekick alongside, Dick, Wally, Donna, and so on then he would be more of a responsible figure compared to if he was from Tims gen (gen 3 sidekicks)

              Anonymous

Kon will always be Gen 3 to me. I was never much of a fan of him getting mixed in with other gens of sidekicks haha

                Anonymous

At this point I think Kon has been put in to every gen. The latest movies have him alongside teen Damian. YJ tv show has him as gen 1 with Dick and Wally. His original version (which is a different character compared to t-shirt and jeans Kon) was gen 3. And I think he was from Jasons gen during some of the flashpoint movies.
They do the same thing with Kara where she floats between gens depending on the writer.

                Personally I would go:
                Gen 1: Kon
                Gen 2 & 3: Kara
                Gen 4: Jon or Lara

It makes the most sense that way.
If Cadmus had access to both male and female Kryptonian DNA they wouldn't have needed to genetically engineer Kon in the first place regardless of whose DNA they used, so Kara can't predate Kon. Kara would be next since she's a teen and would likely arrive on earth when Kal is already somewhere in his 30's.
Jon would be last since he's the youngest and would be born naturally (or the result of magic since Kryptonians and humans shouldn't be able to have kids together) and would need time to grow up AFTER Clark and Lois get married which is unlikely to happen while Clark is still in his early 20's and would most likely happen when Clark is closer to 30.
