Now that the dust has settled can we admit this episode was pretty good if you were a kid? I kinda see what they were going for with this.
What if you were brought up in a homeschooled religious cult and some CPS people came in and said you were special and needed to meet kids your own age? Like what if we don't nerd out about the lore ONCE and just take it for what it is? Its like a fable. Once I did that I felt a little emotion. To be fair, Andor was not only the only actually good one of these shows, but also the only one that actually looks like it was filmed with any kind of set and prop budget. So it might be the only one that earned the right to that money.

Now that the dust has settled can we admit this episode was pretty good if you were a kid? I kinda see what they were going for with this.
What if you were brought up in a homeschooled religious cult and some CPS people came in and said you were special and needed to meet kids your own age? Like what if we don't nerd out about the lore ONCE and just take it for what it is? Its like a fable. Once I did that I felt a little emotion. Like just imagine yourself as a kid and needing to go through that. It made the episode 6/10 for me I dunno it was kind of emotional when the girl finds out her mom dies its sad. I just wish the mom was on fire and dead so it didn't feel like they should try to revive her. That was a copout.
I still think this show sucks because 1) everyone supposedly did this gay crime that the girl brought upon herself and yet they all end up dying in revenge
2) Episode 4 isn't going to be violent and awesome its probably just going to have the girl talk to the tree and the other girl train as a Jedi. At best Episode 5 and 6 will have some okay action.
1/10 as a SW episode but 6/10 as a normal TV show I felt sad for the kids. It was a good tragedy.
