the israelitelyhood of this new LM movie actually hiring a talented child actress is 0%
Giantess kino is back on the menu.
teenage crack addict (me)
>finally make her redheaded and white
>make her a social parasite b***h
Seriously what is hollywoods issue with Ariel and red heads in general? Every new iteration seems to be a attempt to defame and shit on her. Aren't they the type to tell people to get over kids cartoons? And yet it's been like 20 years of this shit.
Dreamworks was built on a foundation of "FRICK DISNEY". They're just going back to their roots.
So true. All the FRICK DISNEYisms in Shrek are funny to me now, as a kid I obviously didn't realize what was going on
before dream works it was don bluth doing the "frick disney" shit
everybody goes frick disney and yet disney after all these year won big time lol
If it wasn't for the afro guy I'd watch it
same
Interesting to see Dreamworks make an underwater movie again. It's been over 18 years since Shark Tale.
>the villain is really the good guy yo
>white people be evil yo
frick hollywood
>white people be evil yo
YES
you have to go back
holy shit this looks unironically terrible. why the frick would a committee make this? i'm hoping that the trailer only showed half of the movie and that the mermaid and kraken put aside their differences and overcome the generational rivalry between their two species. but even know that that's what's going to happen disappoints me.
I had the same thinking about the Puss in Boots 2 trailers.
Unfortunately, this is made by the Trolls and Croods team.
Never watched those, are they as shitty as i've read?
Croods were decent movies. I haven't seen the second trolls movie, but the first is servicable.
The first trolls is cute, but the sequel has a whole "history is written by whitey" kind of element to it, with the Pop trolls representing white people, imo. Poppy the queen of the pop trolls has to be "re educated" by the funk trolls (who clearly represent POC) to learn that, contrary to what she was taught, it was actually the pop trolls who tried to steal everyone's music and destroy the rest of the trolls.... I was pretty annoyed with it tbh BC I bought it without screening it BC my kids loved the first one and boy I wouldn't have if I had realized what a political allegory the stupid plot is in the 2nd one
this is a tactic they will always use. lul you into a false sense of security with a movie with little to no woke bullshit in it, then pump the fricking sequel with all of it
You speak the truth. I am a new parent... Lesson learned LOL
except the rock trolls were the villains and they were trying to brainwash everyone in order to "unite" them under a one world government. it literally has an anti-globalist message and you're too hung up on race to see it. i will admit that the Black persontrolls having a literal spaceship was pretty on the nose and lol'd.
Idk, the rock trolls were doing what the pop trolls did, hogging the strings and destroying the music, so the anti globalist message youre suggesting was there, I didn't see it. It was more of a "diversity good, we need to accept our differences, inclusion" which goes back to the woke political shit
But Pop Music really does try to assimilate everyone else.
Yes on the surface it is a funny poking at pop music as a genre. But subtextually I think it had deeper implications
And I think you're looking too hard into what is essentially a kids movie, seeing things that aren't actually there. Take a fricking break from /misc/, not everything is some shadowy conspiracy.
>um it's just a kid's movie there's no subtext chud
>OMG the hidden message is like...WHITE MEN AND CAPITALISM BAD
Yes oh wise one
>not everything is some shadowy conspiracy
It actually is
This. It was kinda weird how the moral was "we should keep all the different kinds of trolls separate but equal".
SINGING KILLING MY GRANDMA OKAY
Croods was pretty good, it was bogged down by the fact they clearly wanted it to be a franchise though.
>croods was pretty good
was garbage, like most of dreamworks releases to come out in the past 10 years.
Unironically built for
wow, they really put the whole damn movie in a trailer. guess i don't have to watch it now.
now i need a kraken gf thanks
Anyone notice that they somehow managed to get the Facebook Algeria style into three fricking dimensions on these characters?
Kill me now.
Why is everyone so ugly? I'm never going to fricking get used to this.
Beauty and Truth are connected.
If you can warp someone's perception of Beauty, you can convince them to believe lies with greater ease.
>people with /misc/ brain rot have kids
this is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen
absolutely uninspired Grubhub garbage
>Ruby Gillman
So it's a wish fulfillment cartoon for frumpy israeliteesses
/misc/ and /lgbt/ should be nuked and anyone that has ever posted on there in the past year should be permabanned. The quality of this site and the average IQ of posters would shoot up dramatically.
It will never be banned. /misc/ does exactly what the people behind the scenes in Cinemaphile want them to do. Radicalizing you and make you shoot pizzerias
