Women will NEVER understand the significance of Goku going SS3 for the first time. This scene changed lives and turned boys into men.

>tranime
Dbz is not anime.
get new material
its always been anime for mexicans. What a waste of trips.
>mexicanime
thank you
It was on cartoon network.
all tranime is tranime except dbz
Most inconsequential transformation of the serise. Literally has 0 wins. Obviously just existed to sell toys which is why they had to make it look so different and ugly
this and also it's the buu saga
low T
But enough about literally all of Super.
Never got the hate for the Buu arc. Cell arc was far worse and more boring.
It's a better looking power up than Ultra Instinct t b h.
Super Saiyan 2 is the lazy one. Just SSJ1 but with slightly more pointy hair and electricity.
Atleast UI beat Moro
Thanks for the spoiler, gok-hole
It was obviously a last minute editorial note to have a new form for goku because it makes no sense with the story leading up to it. Everyone at the lookout asks goku if he can defeat buu, to which he says he's not any stronger than vegeta so no, and then an hour later he pulls ss3 out of nowhere. I kind of like that it ends up doing nothing of consequence though, it was a nice change from new forms being the solution to everything
Bro it's like six and a half minutes of a dude screaming. It's legit trash. I feel like everyone who talks up dbz is blinded by nostalgia or something. The og series was like 190 episodes and the cut down re-release version is like 60.
Imagine forgetting that 2/3rds of your favorite show is run time fluff and repeat scenes from the last episode.
Yeah but the episode where piccolo learns to drive is wrongly considered filler
Some of the only good episodes in this entire series were the throw away non canon episodes. The fights were stupid as fuck after a while because the bad guys "had unlimited power AND couldn't get hurt".
DBZ really peaked during the Saiyan saga
And it should have ended with Goku dying while killing freeza.
It peaked with future trunks turning frieza into a jobber
>filler is bad... BECAUSE IT JUST IS OKAY
Fucking zoomers and their miserable instant gratificational need to speed run everything.
It's one thing for a 26 episode series to have like 1-3 filler episodes. It's another thing for a series that is like 1000 episodes long to be half filler. I'm 34 by the way.
Ah, DBZ.
That one franchise that knows how to switch between wholesome and frenetic once in a while.
>talking about super in a comfy dbz thread
I like it how in DBS now, when someone goes from SS2 -> SS3 -> SSG they lose their eyebrows and then grow them back
>September 26, 2002
take me back, bros.
I’m about 36 episodes into dragon ball. It’s just so boring bros. How long till I get to the good stuff
kid buu is lame
I hated him but in retrospect that means they did a good job
DBZ did it 20+ years before and didn't use ugly character design
>This scene changed lives and turned boys into men.
You're latinx so you went from 4'8 to 5'1. Calm down lil nigga.
unironically this.
DBZ is for sub 90 iq spics and sudacas
>Trunks and Goten
Yep it's time for a soulful and kino moment
>achieve ssj at an early age
>fuse to become the strongest fighter and earth's only hope
>do nothing
imagine peeking before you even become a teenager.
Goku going SSJ4 had more relevance and impact
the core DBZ audience already got laid by this point and didnt watch anymore (as should you)
>be dead
>only allowed 1 day to visit your family and friends
>you can only show off your new super sayan form for a few seconds because it drains your ghost energy timer or something
That shit was dumb and an obvious way to nerf him. Also that one day lasted forever, but that's normal in DBZ.
>Babidi, currently the main villain of the arc, doesn't believe in Goku
>Piccolo, one of Goku's rivals that has seen Goku do the impossible multiple times, doesn't believe in Goku
>Roshi, Goku's first real teacher that trained him and has seen him do the impossible multiple times, doesn't believe in Goku
>Krillin, Goku's BEST FRIEND that has been by his side the entire time and has seen him do the impossible multiple times, doesn't believe in Goku
>Goku just stands there not giving a single fuck then proceeds to do what everyone called "impossible" and goes even further beyond through pure hardwork and effort
Honestly one of the most inspirational moments in fiction
kino
Right in the ovaries, heh.
She's lucky he didn't go Calvo
I went to a McDonald's one morning for breakfast and there were like 8 Mexican kids all crowded around a laptop watching Gohan vs Cell in Spanish at full volume and cheering and going "oooooo!!" And running around at the fight
Hey DBZ homosexuals if you actually wanna watch a good shonen anime go watch Undead Unluck
The animation team clearly can't work with SSJ3 Goku's hair. Every fight he's in looks like shit. The Kid Buu fight plummets in quality once he powers up from SSJ2. The Janemba movie is decent at least but the movies always had higher production values. Even SSJ1 is often shown instead of SSJ2 because they can get away with lower detail hair.
The ssj2 part of the kid buu fight is not in the manga. Pure filler.
>Women will NEVER understand the significance of Goku going SS3 for the first time. This scene changed lives and turned boys into men.
Troll post.. the only really significant SS moment was the first one.
Law of diminishing returns applies.
imagine watching past the end of the cell saga
I would have been fine with SSJ3 if Toriyama made it the moment where Goku achieves the peak that any unfused character can achieve, but it's obviously not enough to solve any problems and shows that villains are no longer going to be defeated by pulling magic transformations out of a hat (like they did with Frieza and Cell). SSJ3 after that should have been something Goku does when his back is against the wall, like going max Kaioken, and give him some time to trade blows with the villain while the other characters have to figure out a more viable strategy as Goku's ki plummets. I wished more fights would have played out like the Vegeta fight where everyone has to pull their weight and leverage everything they can to wear down the villain.

Thats literally what happens in the kid buu fight
