Wut no way. You really just hate Drew that much? If you win you can pick him up and literally try to severely harm him. Apparently you could get away with doing that. I'm really pretty sure he has insurance clauses about it and everything for if a contestant starts jumping on him or whatever.
Oh no. I've watched Drew very likely get injured multiple times. The person wins and picks drew up when they hug him and consequently squeezes his lower back really hard. Then I wanna say one person tried to jump on his shoulders or something and knocked him down.
I'm surprised at how many people get on stage who have no clue how the games work, like they have no clue what to do or use any of the obvious strategies you can use to win
>strategies
Does that really even apply to that many games? Offhand I'm thinking of two and literally no one ever does them right. The house game thing for 100k. You're supposed to save the cheapest thing. Literally no one has ever played that game correctly not even once.
Then the cover up game is often setup to use strategy. Again you're supposed to save the easy thing. Everyone always cheers and everything when they get 2 or 3 right on the first round and thats actually the exact opposite of what you wanna do. You wanna sandbag the first or 2nd number to save it. But they have to set it up that way. They have to give you a gimme to try and get you to use and literally no one ever does it.
>The house game thing for 100k. You're supposed to save the cheapest thing. Literally no one has ever played that game correctly not even once.
My mother always yells at the TV for this one.
I think you have to line up at at 2am. They are all stupid from tired.
A friend of my mom's did it. She ended up winning a bunch of shit and then she won the showcase. But no car.
She ended up declining all of her prizes except for a trip she won on the showcase. Taxes fucking suck.
Hoesntly most of the prizes are pretty junk if you think about it, Do you have an empty room for a mid range furniture layout?
Jet skis are cool, but you have to tow and store them, how far are you from water?
Sell or give away your old furniture and buy a jetski cover. Even when taxes are taken into consideration prizes like a car, boat, or jetski would make money if you flipped them
Clock Game is SO WINNABLE if you don't spill your spaghetti. As soon as contestants realize there's a time limit they freeze up. Just stay at it and you can win it easily. I wish they played it more but they only pull it out a few times a season and it nearly always results in a loss.
>still mayhem
and way too messy. They need to stop that clock immediately when someone starts fucking around. And I dont think "they" even ever stop the clock actually. Drew has to stop the clock as I recall if they're fucking up with the rules and shit. They judges should completely take that over. The split second they say two numbers in a row let alone their barrage of 5-10 they should stop the clock. Also I think they should be more lenient with stopping it over the math thing. Like if they do it twice in a row stop the clock and try to help them understand. The only time I like this game is when its a clean game. I dont care whether they win or lose. A clean clock game is something to be proud of either way.

Corporate tax is completely different,it’s also flat.
You don’t know what you are talking about
You don’t know what another bracket means,
You still pay the lower rate on everything up to the new bracket, YOU ALWAYS TAKE HOME MORE WITH MORE INCOME, THERE IS NEVER A SITUATION WHERE YOU KOSE OUTFROM BEING OAID SLIGHT MORE.
Let’s say the bracket is 10% for 50,000 and 20% above it.
If you made 50,100. You still only pay 10% on the 50,000, you only pay 20% on the left over 100,
>Lucky $even
Not that bad of a game but it's played too often because it's fast >Gridlock!
Must have been one of those ideas that looked good on the drawing board but irl isn't exciting to watch >Hot Seat
Just stupid >Time Is Money
Too difficult, takes too long >One Away
A good game on its own but I don't like that corny little sound effects lady routine >Pocket Change
Too difficult, not exciting
>Time Is Money is too difficult
strongly agree and what they need to simply tell them is that each spot will always have at least one item. And that game will still be hard as shit. But very well worth it. great game.
Most of these game shows have deals where to get broadcast rights, you have to produce a regional version and cede broadcast rights to that.
It's an extremely israeli scheme.
my friend has been on it. it's actually not too hard to be in the crowd. they encourage people to try to see if they have space if they are in the area since they often do for recordings. if you want you can just go to california and try to be on it as much as they let you
>it's actually not too hard to be in the crowd.
Probably not now though or maybe even ever again. For covid they cut the audience into maybe as low as a third. Maybe even a quarter. I guess I could just count. And I'm starting to lose confidence they're ever going back. I think they like not having to worry about all those people since it just takes one person to fuck everything up. And with an audience that size there was probably always at least one person who did.
>For covid they cut the audience into maybe as low as a third. Maybe even a quarter. And I'm starting to lose confidence they're ever going back.
People on the Golden Road Forum say that the show is moving out of Television City for season 52 to a new studio and they're going back to a full audience. Certainly hope that's true because having the audience in those pods sucked the energy out of the show
Only if Bob Barker was the host.
Why wouldn't anyone?
Wut no way. You really just hate Drew that much? If you win you can pick him up and literally try to severely harm him. Apparently you could get away with doing that. I'm really pretty sure he has insurance clauses about it and everything for if a contestant starts jumping on him or whatever.
They cut you from the epicode and make you work in the CBS mines if you touch the host,

You are neglecting the time loss
Clock Game would be fun to play because it's just common sense but still mayhem with the time crunch.
Clock Game is SO WINNABLE if you don't spill your spaghetti. As soon as contestants realize there's a time limit they freeze up. Just stay at it and you can win it easily. I wish they played it more but they only pull it out a few times a season and it nearly always results in a loss.

I would have gone with my dad, as that was a dream of his. We never got to go and he’s passed on. So nah, I’ll pass.
My friend and his wife went on. They didn't get called up =/
A friend of my mom's did it. She ended up winning a bunch of shit and then she won the showcase. But no car.
She ended up declining all of her prizes except for a trip she won on the showcase. Taxes fucking suck.
If she declines a prize does she get a lower cash value?
No you get nothing except you get to keep your tax bracket.
>keep your tax bracket.
Another person who doesn't understand how the progressive tax system works.
I understand perfectly.
If you aren't winning your prizes on December 30th you're pushing your future income into another bracket.

Fucking phoneposters
You always get more
This.
You don’t get higher taxed on everything,
You get the higher precentage only on the portion in the higher bracket,
*try and get you to use strategy
are they still doing the covid distancing? that ruined the show.
no that sounds insufferable
>Get to Bidder's Row
>confident I know the price ballpark
>bid
>next guy adds $1 to my bid and wins
Why isn't this illegal yet? I mean irl not just a rule on the show.
If it happens to you, you automatically get the option to do it in the next round since you'll be the last bidder.
>die a hero or live long enough to become the villain

Were the allegations against Bob legit bros?
Yeah, that son of a bitch had my balls cut off.
I mean the allegations of sexual harassment.
I always hated the people who gave weak ass spins.
Put some fucking oomph into it. Make it break loose and fly into the audience.
Mexico used to have its own localized version.

Will it still be called the Bob Barker Studio? Kind of gay of them to film somewhere else now that he's actually died.
>Will it still be called the Bob Barker Studio?
I doubt it, it's a completely different location
