What is hard to understand about the X-Men. Superheroes are already largely disliked in the Marvel universe. Thanks to Namor humanity gets the perfect scapegoat to blame all their problems on.

OP's the kind of person that cheers when they see a sentinel blowing up a building to kill a mutant that can make flowers bloom and create rainbows.

Spider-man's rep was more ambivalent more than anything, it was mostly the police and JJJ who fricking hated his guts.
Also, Hulk was basically a misandrist at first, who just happened to have Rick Jones to keep him in check.

Professor X is able to oneshot Omni-Man. That's why "Invincible" is a weak verse.

The X-Men and most mutants act like secretive dicks and constantly have known villains on their teams. Remember the original reason people hated mutants is the theory they'd enslave humanity.

All X-Men have the X gene. Like people hate their future children or something.

Nah, its just the overused minority allegory and the perputual angst status quo.
Everyone forget the small stuff like the X-men fighting aliens, which is a common problem with every superhero comics.
