You get people living in these conditions, but they will have access to high-tech (of sorts), they are also living closely to the one of the most expensive m2 in the country, are oddly satisfied with it all (at least they used to be, not so sure these days). It's all quite "Cyberpunky" but also safe to approach. Moreover, nothing that you can see/experience in the US or Europe AFAIK, which pumps curiosity even further. My best memories are from there, but I'm glad I left.
