its a pretty comfy movie, i rewatch it once a year or so.
it has alot of silly elements of course but it was good camp.
all the actors were also on point.

It still baffles me that they managed to frick up something with such a simple plot as a really mad marine fighting the forces of hell on phobos and being so pissed off about it he refuses to die. Thats literally it, a giant excuse for big ass explosions, tons of monsters being blown the frick up, and just reveling in the cheesiness of it as one angry man engages in the extremely christian past time of DEUS VULTing Hell itself. You have to TRY to mess up something this simple.

If doom is a 6 RE is a 9.5. doom had twice the budget and only has 2 competent actors and the rock, much worse writing, worse action etc.
