No hope, because whatever good could come will be drowned out by grandstanding about modern day politics.

2012 I wanted this show to come back so bad. 2022 I wish for it to end before it gets worsr
Can anyone explain to me how bad this show has gotten? I remember seeing people praising it and wishing it never got canceled. Now I see people berating it and dogging it out. What happened?
You cannot imagine the drop in quality between each season. It gives me whiplash trying to go from one to the next. I'll still hold season 1 up as some of the best to come out of Dc's animation department, hell it's probably one of my favorite seasons of any show. However, noticeable cracks were forming by season 2. Since being revived we've gotten a third season that I honest to God couldn't make myself sit through in my rewatch for the new fourth season. Speaking of which, season 4 was an improvement over the terrible third season, but I cannot express to you how low of a bar that is. Season 4 was still a disjointed mess with a plot that moved at the speed of continental drift and animation that noticeably cuts some serious corners. Do yourself a favor and don't bother going past the good first season, it only goes downhill from there.
I wouldn't call it closure since he's still on his quest.
The new Constantine short hints at an animated Crisis event. Would be absolute kino if Razor's quest culminated there seeing as his story has continued in 2 separate shows after his original show ended. Plus it could tie into the anti-monitor which was also in his show.
>I remember seeing people praising it and wishing it never got canceled. Now I see people berating it and dogging it out. What happened?
/misc/ took over Cinemaphile, that's what happened. I guarantee you every reply about why the show is bad is going to be about the LGBT, minority, and mental health elements.
People are fine with gays and minorities as long as the writing is good. A lot of the complaints are about the show's pacing or the decline in quality of the animation or having too many characters with not enough development.
Arcane has gays in it and is universally praised as a hallmark of animation. You're just coping that people are rightfully shitty on YJ, probably because you either loved it as a child and now have some kind of blind, fanatical devotion that prevents you from seeing the mess it has turned into, or you work on the show and are salty at anons making fun of your work.
Either way, suck my balls.
Anon there are always buttholes complaining about Vi and Cait being gay in Arcane threads. Pretending that Cinemaphile isn't full of these kinds of people is extremely disingenuous
And those same people complaining about them still acknowledge the rest of the show is great. Where are the praises for YJ? There aren't any because the show has gone downhill at every level.

If your point is that no one is praising YJ then you're just plain wrong, so there's no point in addressing that claim

But anon that would be gay. Don't wanna be woke do you?
It's supposed to be an action/adventure-focused show, but there are way too many scenes of characters sitting around talking about things that aren't relevant to the main storyline and that aren't that entertaining or enjoyable to watch. Part of it may be a budget issue as

noted. It's probably cheaper/easier to animate two characters sitting at a table drinking coffee than it is to choreograph and animate a fight scene. A lot of times, it feels more like a Lifetime movie than a superhero show.
>The best thing is a Trogowog ruining his day at the credit kek
the rule is that after you catch it you can do whatever with it, plus I doubt they would let him take anything back with him to a high security prison
>Because it won't go down,
I know. I was being hypothetical, dude. This guy acts like they wouldn't turn on him and treat him like the rest if this actually happened.
Why do white liberals try to act like they'll be spared if shit like actually goes down?
>if shit like actually goes down?
Because it won't go down, you schizo.
>Because it won't go down,
I know. I was being hypothetical, dude. This guy acts like they wouldn't turn on him and treat him like the rest if this actually happened.
Yeah, but they just replace everyone who gets arrested or kicked out. They've replaced Ocean Master, Black Manta, Granny Goodness, The Brain, and Ra's Al Ghul
It's a superhero show. You expect the show to end with them defeating all supervillains for all time? Even Justice League Unlimited ended with the League giving the villains a five minute head start.
Its a miracle that there are people who still think its good. Yeah, there are the occasional decent moments, but they're rarely worth the rest of the schlop you have to wade through.
The first two seasons were great because it was a kids show with enough mature events for adults. Seasons three and four because they decided to just make the show for adults and lost all sense of subtlety and nuance
>Acknowledging sometimes you have to kill to stop a threat. >In the shame show where sacrificing your spine to save a serial killer is seen as a good thing.
He's still thought of as being wrong, but he's nowhere as villainized as you'd expect. He still wants to help people, is unaware of some of the shady stuff in Markovia, and is starting to slowly uncover what's going on.
There is still some good in YJ. Killing off Lor-Zod is pretty based. As cringey as the Aqua homosexual arc was, the "All hail the King (female)" plot was handled pretty well. Aquaman was shown to be just and capable leader. Aquaman is still shown in an heroic light. Aquaman appealed to monarchial values to abnegate the throne (we wasn't raised for it, he is an outsider). They also recognized that the Universe doesn't owe you a happy ending plus revenge for being oppressed. With Netflix Castlevania, Isaac's actions are treated as completely justified and him turning "good" was him being the "bigger man".
>No! You must must ruin the entire story arc to save a character who already served only god damn purpose.
The most of Castlevania has been rendered useless so that Isaac can have a cringe fight Carmilla. Lor-Zod served his purpose and he pushed his luck too hard with all of the contrived coincidences in his favor.
>You aren't owed anything by the universe, you have to earn it yourself!
Castlevania is shit. Isaac earned nothing. I never saw a character with thicker plot armor.
>As cringey as the Aqua homosexual arc was, the "All hail the King (female)" plot was handled pretty well.
If they're going to have the show reflect some of what's happening with the live action movies, this isn't going to age well considering that they just fired Mera and are deleting all of her scenes from Aquaman 2.
>the "All hail the King (female)" plot was handled pretty well. >MERA HERSELF rails against the Atlantean moronation for buying into muh prophecy >Arthur offloads his job to her mainly because he doesn't feel like being king anymore >Atlantis CHEERS, even people like her father and Num-Num who had hardened grievances against the old regime
The frick you say? It was handled worse than the actual relationships.
Imagine a real-life ruler stepping down due to public dissatisfaction with his regime and his successor is literally his spouse. Who the frick would go with that. How is Mera's reign going to be any different?
>Half-breed bastard son that grew up abroad step down because people racist >use vague prophesy to justify handing over the throne to his wife >maintain indirect power while keeping everyone happy >can go back to punch people
It is a win-win.
In the episode with a focus on him he was portrayed as good guy doing good things. He's not particularly happy that his Step 1 had to be an execution and wants to work things out with the other heroes, but Bad Samaritan keeps microdosing him with angery thoughts when he tries.
Actually yeah, one of last episodes was focused on his actions as King and on his team Infinity Inc.
All arcs in this season were pretty good, the weakest was Rocket's arc and that was because of her, autismo and forager (can't stand the moronic bugs) but it at least had New gods, green lantern (with a nod to the animated series) and Lor-zod.
Wait, is Young Justice building to Darkseid as an incoming ultimate threat?
Has that been the point for ten fricking years?
Apokolips seems appropriate for a long-term threat. I'll admit during season 1 I never saw how the OG Team could've handled them, but it would be cool to see them handle it as seasoned heroes. I do think the focus on the Furies at the end means they'll be a more direct threat next time.
Considering every season post that first timeskip has been the biggest Cinemaphile related disappointment of my life, I have no hopes or even desire for a season five. Hard to imagine this was my favorite show once upon a time, but they've long since lost the magic of the first season. I cannot comprehend the drop in quality from one season to the next, it's insane. I've long since stopped having any fun watching YJ ever since outsiders shit the bed worse than invasion. I've only stuck around through phantoms out of some misguided since of loyalty to Wesiman, but I just can't make myself sit through another season-long slog, waiting for something, anything, interesting to happen. If the upcoming tie-in comics fail to do the bare minimum of not boring me as much as 3/4s of this season has, I think I'll hang my hat on YJ.
It really did and the show never recovered. I could see the cracks forming as far back as season 2, but I still wanted the show back for six years because I labored under the misguided delusion that Weisman could keep it together and tell a coherent and interesting story. Boy was that wrong! I couldn't even make myself rewatch outsiders in the lead-up to this season and I honestly don't feel compelled to rewatch this season either. My god, I think continental drift moves faster than the plot of this season. We didn't even meet Zod til 3/4s of the season had passed!
Season 3 is where I lost my interest, there where so many characters that a good third of the cast I forgot who they where. When Geoforcce and the other kids show up in that farm I didn't know if Snaper showed up before that scene or if he was a new character.
But did you immediately recognized him as their teacher from season 1 or did you had to think for a while or look in the internet who he was?

He was also in several episodes of season 3. Violet's new girlfriend is his step daughter. He was also in the audio drama as a narrator/running gag.
I agree that his presence is thin, but he has been around.
The frick are you talking about, I've read the tie-in comics that have already come out? Assuming you're not trolling, what does that have to do with my no longer enjoying the show?
You're not alone. In pretty much every thread, someone mentions that they think that the quality of the show has gone downhill and that they aren't enjoying the later seasons as much as the earlier ones.
>We finally get supergirl >She's part of Darkseid's crew > We're gonna have to wait over a season, maybe two, to get through the drama involved in her being a part of the team
You know, it'd be nice for her to just crash land on earth and let the slice of life shenanigans ensue. Also, was granny goodness always that fricking stacked?
>how the frick is it still going
by being canceled for 6 years, being revived, and then also having to switch to another streaming service after the first one died.
I missed when western cartoons allowed white men to be heroes instead of always being about "strong wyman" with white men only being there to be humilated and sexually exploited
Dang, that sucks. Thankfully, I doubt it would be a straight up adaptation. I mean, Wally and Ted are dead, Babs is paralyzed, and a bunch of other characters aren’t shown to even exist as of right now.
Yeah, but why should anyone care what some antisocial incel rando on Cinemaphile thinks? Just because you lack the brainpower to comprehend a story more complex than super ninjas punching each other doesn't mean the same is true for everyone. Frick off leave

It's amazing that anyone thinks King's turd of a story was any good. Though given what a train wreck this season was, not surprised Weisman and company think it is a good idea.
Maybe if Heroes In Crisis wasn't written by a burnt out idiot like Tom King, it might have been a good idea. I don't think the writers of Young Justice are going to do much better.
Tom King's PTSD-o-matic take on the Justice League was shit.
Frick that, indeed.
Therapy being a flawed, ongoing process is fine. Therapy being demonised because it's being written by a moron who uses writing comics as his excuse to not get any and therefore becomes a nonsensically dehumanising process for which everything that can go wrong does go wrong is a sign King should be fired.
Kind of but not really. He’s helping Vandal to make earth the strongest planet and conquer all the other ones, at which point they’ll fight each other.
There is no ultimate threat.
Weisman said he will make Young Justice seasons as long as WB keeps funding them. Darkseid is not the end game. He'll move on to someone else the moment Darkseid is "defeated"
Why did Perdita break up with beastboy from narrative point of view? I have a feeling it's something about "moving on" message but how long had it been since their fight? A month or two? I mean, Perdita knows he wasn't all up there and talked shit and yet she moved on pretty fast.
Makes their whole relationship look more like a fling really. The whole premise of an american tv star and eastern european queen in distant relationship is already screaming "THEY WON"T MAKE IT!" but was this dose of realism really nessessary?
I love Perdita but now she has no reason to stay in the show. Unless Brion will go full 1939 on her.
>at weddding >"look, I know you have a mental breakdown due to all the death and suffering, and you are getting better" >"but you aren't the chad I thought you were" >"so I've moved on to a new wiener"
most realistic part of the episode
Their relationship was already on a bad spot since the beginning of the season. She was busy being a queen and he a superhero.
because she thought BB was an unbreakable hero and it turns out he wasn't. You see this happen a lot IRL with women who marry pro martial artists or military men. When the guy gets badly beaten or worse comes back from a war with PTSD and breaks down in tears from all the shit he's been through the wf/gf just see's him as a pathetic loser and either dumps him or starts cheating on him.
Perdita was in love with BB the hero, Garfield Logan was just something she put up with.
That's usually a façade that wf/gf will put up until something better roles on through.
It also doesn't help a huge chunk of these kinds of women have BPD
It was pretty heavily set up. She kept reaching out to BB and he kept shutting her out. She said point blank "I will always be there to help you, but I won't watch you destroy yourself."
As someone whose been in a partnership with someone with severe depression , it was harshly true to life.
I'm not expecting to see the stuff with the Furies addressed immediately. We're getting more Arrow Family, Bowhunter Security, Sportsmaster, and Brion, at least.
Yeah, the White Martians seem to be the ancestors of the Durlans here.
Not a bad finale overall. Ended on a pretty high note. The season is definitely one with some major peaks and valleys, but I'm happy it ended in a good enough way.
>So wait the Implication was that Malefic and his followers are the origin of Chamelon Boys entire race?
Whelp that's the end of his character. Good riddance.
>So wait the Implication was that Malefic and his followers are the origin of Chamelon Boys entire race?
my problem with that is what the frick happened. Speciation on that scale takes a lot longer than a few hundred years (more like thousands) and it seems like it was de-evolution since they lose all their psychic abilities, a highly advantages set of traits that have no selective pressure to be weeded out of a population; it's like if humans lost both hearing and sight senses and gained nothing in return
The Martian priest caste, which any other member of the castes could elect into, are all seemingly permanently orange. Shapeshifting happens at a cellular level, and the only reason racism still exists on their planet is that they're all psychic and can see each others "true selves" which provides social pressure. M'gann's family commented a few times about how the way she looks now is her "true self" in her mind. In theory, if they want to make a clean break from Mars, which seems to be the case for M'comm's terrorist cell, they may make certain permanent changes to themselves before they have children and forcibly diverge into a sub-species that way.
But that's me putting in the leg work for what's supposed to be a mystery box.
In the comics Durlans were an advanced race that ended when a nuclear war caused them to lose their original form. Most of them are shown as cloaked tentacle monsters.

I'm glad. Hope beast boy gets kicked from his Star Trek show permanently too.
I haven't seen the episode, but good
FRICKING GOOD
Frick Beast boy! I'm happy she moved on.
>blaming a character for bad writing
It's not Beast Boy's fault Weisman and Vietti forgot they were writing an animated superhero show and not a CW superhero show.
I hope they continue with these 4-5 episode arcs that focus on a small cast of characters. The biggest problem with this show is the focus on telling multi-season mega storylines instead of focusing on the here and now and making sure every episode has something memorable and worthwhile in it. But this season probably had the best focus since Season 1. The Mars arc was especially good.
It's never going to be JLU, where an episode like Dark Heart is fully self-contained while still being an important part of the Cadmus story arc, but I'll take it.
I recently read DC One Million so I knew what was gonna happen, and burst out laughing at how slow he was to realize what was happening.
The mini-arcs definitely work better than the clusterfrick of S3 but I ended up missing having the team interact with each other. There's probably a good middle ground where you can have the team being friends/support network while still having the individual arcs focusing on certain character but I don't know if the show's concerned with finding it.
>I hope they continue with these 4-5 episode arcs that focus on a small cast of characters
That was the worst part of the season even more embarrassing was how it didn't actually focus on the characters themselves >Rocket Arc >it focuses on everyone but Rocket
I liked the New Gods stuff but you could have swapped out Rocket with pretty much any other character to be an ambassador from Earth. The writers don't seem to know what to do with her.
Has anyone ever done a really good Rocket story? You could probably do something interesting with the technology angle.
Anonymous
The idea of the sidekick incentivizing their partner into becoming a hero is interesting and was even discussed in YJ season 1. But you could only do it justice on a story about Icon and Rocket, especially an origin story.
Brainic 5 shows up right before the wedding tells the legionnaires that everything back to normal and takes them home, they don't even stay for wedding.
>everything back to normal
Mostly. 99% plus some decimal numbers, back to normal. Biggest changes being... Empress is out there, with fetal Lor-Zod, moving to Daxam to presumably take it over. General Zod and the rest of the Kryptonian prisoners are on lockdown in Warworld. Supergirl is on Apokolips as one the Female Furies. Superman is aware of "when" Superboy is supposed to do something important, and maybe even "where" just not "what."
Daxamites are basically Kryptonians. She'll be able to blend into the population, give birth, raise her son, rally a few radical Daxamites around her, then use the Eye to zoom over to a new planet with a yellow sun to start their galactic conquest early.
She just went there because if she could rally them to her cause since they are effectively kryptonians she could have an army to restore the House of Zod and free the General himself.
Daxamites are basically Kryptonians. She'll be able to blend into the population, give birth, raise her son, rally a few radical Daxamites around her, then use the Eye to zoom over to a new planet with a yellow sun to start their galactic conquest early.
And this is an show original thing? There's no precedent of Zod or anyone taking over Daxam to kill Superman?
No Daxamites have been a thing forever. Mon-El of the Legion of Superheroes is one of them. Darkseid dominates the planet in the Great Darkness Saga to gain his own super army.
I know Daxamites are a thing, I was just wondering if there's reason in the comics that the show sent Ursa there and not just because they needed somewhere to send her to end the show, in which case why not send her to Thanagar or something.
I can't claim to be enough of a Superman scholar to say for certain. But I am a fan of Sodam Yat, one of the two or three famous Daxamites, and to my knowledge his species is basically never relevant to any plot outside of Green Lantern and Legion stuff.
>Zod's army served their sentence >plan to release them later
Don't you think they should add to their sentences since the moment they got out they tried to conquer the galaxy? That's probably worth another 10 years.
being stuck on completely undeveloped world where it would take centuries to build up even a 1800's level of tech is a valid punishment, there didn't seem to be any scholars or engineers among Zod's men so it might even take longer since they have limited knowledge of making tech from scratch. That's basically what the British used Australia for and prior to the Chinese takeover it worked out pretty well.
The only one who needs to either stay in the zone or be executed is Zod since it seems he's the source of most of the problems, without him the other Kryptonians could have a change of heart given enough time.
I wonder if season 5 ( if it gets renewed) will have 26 episodes just like the last two seasons, or it’ll get 10-13 due to being the first time it gets renewed in HBOMAX.
I hope it gets canceled, what little good can out of this will be overshadowed by the immense amount of LGBTP, race mixing, and anti white propaganda that this show will spew on to the screen.
I really liked S1, it was the bast DC cartoon after BTAS, and STAS but it's been defiled past the point of no return
If this show wasn't so gay I would actually be happy to see Kara, I have always wanted a series where Kara and Kon go on adventures together and this would probably be as close as it could get.
>Jax-Ur
must have missed that, in that case it would depend on how much of Krypton's schools focused on design principles as opposed to teaching new tech. When I Uni for electrical engineering things like material refinement without modern equipment was never covered.
>More beast for me, b***h.

>Is thrown out of the show forever in like 20 seconds >Didn't get a single thank you for saving Superboy >Didn't even stay for the wedding
Why do they keep doing us dirty like this.
Wow... they went all in on Miss M being the most powerful here. Absolutely no one even Ursa powered up by the Emerald Eye stood a chance against her when she was going all out.
you know I just remembered something, Greg said he nerfed Superman (Superman can't even survive in space without a mask) and the Martians since otherwise the story would not make sense... then made Megan "the most powerful psychic mind I have ever seen" according to Manhunter. It seems like the only characters that are allowed to be powerful are women... I will bet money that both Kon and Kal are gonna get beaten easily by Darksied only for Kara to turn good and one shot him.
Supes and Kon are the ones to beat the Zods here however. Kara is absolutely going to kick Kon’s ass however, she’s a pure Kryptonian whereas Kon is a mutt
actually, Kon was getting his ass kicked by Lor until MM brain blasts him
>she’s a pure Kryptonian whereas Kon is a mutt
Agreed, it would be more even if Kon had his TTK. He's just not SB without it imo. It's been stated that kryponian powers are propotional (difference between a human adult and child in terms of strength is same with Kryptonians ) so theortically a teenage boy should be able to overpower a teenage girl but we don't know how being partially defecitve affects Kons stats, plus this is Greg we are taking about so pussy pass is in full effect.
Lor kicked the shit out of Saturn Girl and basically everyone else who got in his way, except for Orion with autism rage and the Clark/Conner teamup. Zod's wife is still loyal to his cause and leadership after getting a god complex. And Vandal's daughter is willing to take on an arm injury in service to him.
For all it's faults YJ has plenty of strong men. If you were looking for an actually valid example I think your closest would be how ludicrously one-sided Child slapping down Nabu's "plan" to beat her was, and even she is just powered up absurdly by having the support of every Lord of Chaos except Klarion.
Why haven't they healed her hand by now? Zatana could have fixed it with magic or they could have had one of the metahumans with a healing specialization tend to it.
It happens every season. A new character (or group of characters) is introduced and everyone is excited, but they get barely any screentime because the show gets sidetracked on some garbage storyline like Beastboy's drug problem or some Atlantean fish throuple.
they haven't had time, Kon still had burns in the video wedding invitation as well as Snapper saying he go ordained as a martian wedding priest in one day and we know that otherwise fatal wounds on Kryptonians heal in minutes on earth so they literally had the wedding the next day after they got Kon back
Okay wait, Lor was actually really fricking dumb here, so he comments on how someone has already set the time sphere's destination, sees that he's been brought to the moment JUST before the explosion happens and still tries to take Superboy out?
So there has been a lot of bullshit these last two seasons. How how of it can be edited down DB Kai style? I think it's safe to assume Lagoon Boy's cuckery can be cut completely .
I hope she stays with Kon and Megan and MM plays games with her where they switch places and try to see how far Kon will go with her until he notices. Greg has already confirmed that Megan likes to pretend to be other girls when she and Kon have sex, using her sister would just be the next logical step; I could totally see her making Kon act out scenes from "Hello Megan" with her sister playing Rita only for it to turn in to a porno.
why is vixen a bridesmaid? She doesn't even know Megan, that should be Black Canary since she's good friends with both Kon and Megan... and is Rocket seriously wearing pants to a wedding?
Ah, yeah you are right. Her design looked a lot like Vixen and Bee hasn't been around all season so I forgot about her. Still should be Dinah though
What's worse is that they're high-waisted granny pants.
it had to be a conscious choice since one of the girls could have lent her a dress or Zatanna altered her outfit, we know she has a cloths spell since she's used it before.
Maybe she just has terrible fashion sense (her 90's Gambit cowl on her costume, etc.).

>Maybe she just has terrible fashion sense
that only works if none of the other girls would call her out on it, I could see some of them not saying anything but there is no way Bee or Zee would keep their mouths shut. Zee is a stage Magician and Bee was a head cheer leader and fricking up a wedding dress is a lot worse than a prom dress.

I'm seriously wonder how the show performs. Greg said it's quite good even acknowledge the hater of this show could be a lot more than season 1 audiences
Jor El had limited knowledge of the universe and New Genesis is in a totally different quadrant of the universe. Earth was in the adjacent sector, was a life sustaining world, and the inhabitants looked close enough to Kryptonians that Kal could pass as one.
The original plan (in the reference comics) to save Krypton was that both Jor and Zor El would build a rocket and one would be used to hold the phantom zone projector and the other a operator, Krypton's population would jump in the phantom zone then get the projector transported to an uninhabited world nearby, not hard since they could take whatever tech and resources they need in to the zone.
No one believed Jor El so in the end he used his rocket to send Kal to Earth, Jor tried to create a force field around Argo City that could shield it from the blast but didn't know if it would work so he sent Kara in the his ship; Kara was supposed to arrive on Earth with Kal and protect and raise him but her ship got blown off coarse by the explosion and she arrived much later.
Current canon? Jor didn’t have any time he just told the ship AI to scan the best likely locations to send Kal. The AI picked Earth because the sun would give Kal powers and humans would be weak enough to not pose a threat to him
Hope they get new writers. Episodes like Rescue and Search by outside writers were the best.
Weisman sucks at writing characters and all his dialogue is shit. Characters always say exactly what they're doing and feeling, and then throw in those dumbass catchphrases.
I thought that the best episode was the one written by Giancarlo Volpe, which is kind of funny because he isn't a series regular and he was writing about a character from a completely different show.
Mary was depressed over the loss of her powers and her friends no longer trusted her with power. Granny then offered her power.
Kara was in the Phantom Zone and was given to Granny by the Light as tribute. The Light also captured every Kryptonian in the Zone (save Ursa who escaped to Daxam)
>Mary was depressed over the loss of her powers
slight correction, she didn't lose her powers but rather refuses to use them because she got drunk off her power before and stopped using it. Granny just exploited her feelings of betrayl to make her start using her powers again.
From what we know Billy was given his powers the same way as the original lore (was chosen because he was pure of heart) but Mary got her powers by Billy sharing his due to their family connection, she doesn't have the same good nature and so was easy to corrupt.
Jason Bard proposes to Artemis
Lightning Bolt strikes in Central City revealing Wally.
Drama Ensues, both between Artemis and Wally, but also Artemis being mad at Zatana and M'Gann.
Considering Martians can morph, it will probably be easier than Clark knocking up Lois
The real question will be how OP a 1/4 Kryptonian 1/4 Earthling 1/2 Martian kid will be.
I think the ability to morph (morb?) is also the reason why they haven't had a pregnancy scare yet, IF they can have kids. Since they've definitely had sex plenty of times. Guess she can just eject the sperm out?
>physiology =/= genetic compatibility
Wasn't Miss Martian able to change her blood-type to save Beast Boy back in Season One; does that have any effect?
But what will the baby look like when its born? I doubt martians can morph as soon as they're born so its gonna look like a martian, but will it have human features?
Since half the DNA is humanoid, that will probably be the baby's default form and then it may have some limited shapeshifting abilities or white skin and black eyes and colored irises.
Considering all three races are at least humanoid with a head, two eyes, a mouth, two arms, and two legs, the baby will probably be humanoid outwards. Organs are gonna be pretty interesting to think about but that's a little Mengele territory
Yeah but, you know... Age of consent only exists because it roughly aligns with sexual maturity, I don't think it matters if the guy still has the body and mind of a 20 year old.
>Ursa Empress taken to one of the planets populated in the future >Another world important later on populated by white martians by M'comm
This ought-ta be a whole lot of nothing.
The bio dad seems like the more responsible parent and more invested in getting help. Rocket seems like the disinterested one. If she's already having trouble bonding with her own autistic kid, Orion seems like a weird match for her.
Consider Young Justice is one of the few iterations of the DC universe in which the timeline isn't kept vague and doesn't essentially stand still, does that mean characters like Bruce might have to give up on the superhero shit simply because the get too old?
Probably. Kaldur becoming Aquaman is obvious Connor will likely take over as Superman, so Dick will probably become Batman if we get to Jason and Damian's arc. Wally would've been the new Flash if he didn't die but now Bart is probably going to take over, but if Jay is still active, Barry probably will be active for a long time too.
The question is who takes over Green Arrow. Clone Roy? Arsenal Roy? Artemis?
Arrowette barely gets a second of screen time. Makes no sense for her to take over. Static taking over as Black Lightning 2 would make more sense than her.
Is Arrowette even Cissie in YJ

You'd need a massive time skip before that ever becomes a worry. Like 50+ years.
Between BB's dragged depression arc and the autism arc, i'm starting to lose interest in how they will handle Jason Todd, atleast Chaos left a good impact.
>So this bat creature... it is a large, power predator, yes? >No, see, it's like criminals are a cowardly and superstitious lot and- >So your enemies are all cowards? >It's cool! Shut up! You got cucked out of your name by a pet!
It wouldn't end well, but maybe it would have been entertaining to see
>Amistad gets triggered and starts screaming and sperging out because someone put his toy cars with the wheels facing the wrong way >Orion gets triggered because of the screaming and can't reach the Motherbox in time >He goes on a berserker rage and starts trashing the wedding >Heroes who don't know about his autism or his claustrophobia try to contain him and that just makes him angrier and more violent
Connor is suppose to be Jon's older half brother not uncle. Shame on Clark for not wanting to accept Luthor's rape tube baby as his son and settled for being brothers.
A lot of normies don't get how magic affects Kryptonians, it's not that they are weak to it's that it works on them the same way it does on anyone else. A magic fireball will be just as ineffective against Superman as a regular one but by that same token a transfiguration spell would turn him in to animal the same way it would a human.
They aren't weak to magic they just have no special defense for it like a magic user like Dr.Fate would
While I'm not trying to defend Dwayne, It's important to clarify that he didn't say that Superman was "Weak" as with kryptonite, but that Superman was just weak, which is true, he is invulnerable to almost everything, but not to magic, so extreme aggressive magic based users like Adam are clearly a danger for him.
>We need a place where our people can go to escape the life for a day, a week, a month, somewhere safe. Somewhere where they can receive help >A Sanctuary
Why would you willingly choose to adapt Heroes in Crisis after the poor reception that not only HiC received but Beast Boy's entire arc this season got?
>several plot points that are pointless >several plot points that are only there to be revisited in the next season >finally introduce the big bad >job him out to Superman
Give it a rest, especially to Superman. It's nice to see him living his name without being turned to evil. Dude also already took to much losses only for the other could have a chance to shine
to be fair, if there is one person who should be able to beat Zod it's Kal El. Also, Kon got his ass kicked by Lor, it wasn't until Megan brain blasted him that Kon started winning.
>Kara was in the Phantom Zone the whole time. >Zod and Superboy discuss the house of El several times. >Hell, everyone in the zone knew Conner was an El. >At no point did Kara ever show up or even give a shit about Conner.
So how are they gonna go about explaining this?
In the supergirl tv show, her dad sent her in a rocket but the explosion knocked her into the phantom zone until Superman found her pod. Seems like they are going with that variation.
Seriously? I stopped watching that show around season 2. I also find it odd she never gets mentioned in Superman and Lois, but Diggle showed up one episode.
With the existence of Legion, what does that mean for Vandal's keikaku? Does his big battle with Darkseid ends in their defeat and Legion is born from that? Or does the Light still exist millennia into the Legion times and Vandal is still out there keikaku-ing?
>Or does the Light still exist millennia into the Legion times and Vandal is still out there keikaku-ing?
I'm shocked that this season didn't end with the Legion going back to their time to report to President Savage of the United Planets that everything has "seen the light" or something
I like how all the main Justice Leaguers arrived the literal second the battle is over. Like, they could have washed Zod easily if they had those guys instead of just the Young Justice squad. They seem to take down more global threats than the main Justice League.
No and they probably never will with Greg "I'll never write an ending" Weisman although one of Vandal's plans was foiled in the Kaldur arc that it made the unga bunga man seethe hard but as always the Light always comes on top at the end.
Earth has multiple superheroes capable of kicking Kryptonian ass. Why did none of them show up? Why did they leave it to fricking Nightwing and Artemis?
I swear, if Wally comes back only so Weisman can do his fricked up interpretation of HiC, I may actually burst a blood vessel. Cannot believe how naively optimistic I was.
>Superman misses Brainiac V >AGAIN
For once I wish some show has these two meet for a brief second and Superman instantly tries to go for the kill So if there is another season its going to involve Starro and a Krypton army controlled by Vandal/Darkseid?
Cancelation.
If only . . .
No hope, because whatever good could come will be drowned out by grandstanding about modern day politics.
/thread
2012 I wanted this show to come back so bad. 2022 I wish for it to end before it gets worsr
hate to say it, but fpbp
This, the shows been garbage for its entire run

FPBP. And I say this as someone who thinks S4 was better than S3. That we had any good episodes was a mercy, but shit like the Atlantis, Martian and Cheshire arcs is the norm.
Please, just mercy kill it before things can get worse.
It's a Greg "2 Season" Weisman show, so this is very likely.
Please make it happen God. He's just throwing shit to the wall to see what happens. I wanted Sivana to show up at one point, but I'm worried he might taint the World's Most Wickedest Scientist.
He might have autism thanks to Orion.
Why is she so cute?
Can anyone explain to me how bad this show has gotten? I remember seeing people praising it and wishing it never got canceled. Now I see people berating it and dogging it out. What happened?
They're trying to be progressive and inclusive, but most of the time, it just ends up being cringey and feeling like cheap pandering.
They had segments of the season dedicated to Halo, a non character talking about her gender, sexuality, and other nonsense.
The only good thing about this season is we got closure for a different and better show that died with YJ.
>People are fine with gays and minorities
Read the thread before you post.
>And those same people complaining about them still acknowledge the rest of the show is great
Haha no the don't
Yes they do and you're ignoring the point.
If your point is that no one is praising YJ then you're just plain wrong, so there's no point in addressing that claim
If you're too dumb to understand the point then I'm just going to reiterate my earlier statement and not waste anymore time with you: suck my balls.
>suck my balls
But anon that would be gay. Don't wanna be woke do you?
You argue like a b***h so I just assumed.
No the homosexualry in this show is fricking cringe worthy, both my bf and I agree
t. a fricking homo
FPBP this show should have stayed dead after season 2
Where is the link? I don't want to pay the HBO corp
Its not out yet. That screenshot is from clips that got leaked last week because Quebec aired the finale by accident.

The best thing is a Trogowog ruining his day at the credit kek
>The best thing is a Trogowog ruining his day at the credit kek
the rule is that after you catch it you can do whatever with it, plus I doubt they would let him take anything back with him to a high security prison
Judging by the profile pic I'm pretty sure the guy he is talking to is black
it has nothing to do with who the guy he's replying to, it's that his hatred of Whites seeps out regardless
Does this count as a self own?
Why do white liberals try to act like they'll be spared if shit like actually goes down?
>if shit like actually goes down?
Because it won't go down, you schizo.
>Because it won't go down,
I know. I was being hypothetical, dude. This guy acts like they wouldn't turn on him and treat him like the rest if this actually happened.
~~*wiesman*~~
Lexx Smith seems like a pretty big homosexual TBqH
Excited for a Kara season
Darkseid is pretty under developed in this show
this zod was way better
>Darkseid is
I don't think we ever got an Apokalyps focused episode
I mean the Light is still around when they should be dead by now.
Why would they be dead?
Aren't some of the members in jail or currently otherwise incapacitated?
The light has been largely irrelevant this past two seasons
Yeah, but they just replace everyone who gets arrested or kicked out. They've replaced Ocean Master, Black Manta, Granny Goodness, The Brain, and Ra's Al Ghul
Which is moronic now they can't be beat without getting reinforcements
It's a superhero show. You expect the show to end with them defeating all supervillains for all time? Even Justice League Unlimited ended with the League giving the villains a five minute head start.
>ywn bury your wiener between granny goodness' giant breasts
Why even live?
It’s not worth it unless she has the Ed Asner voice.
This show has turned into shit since season 3..
Its a miracle that there are people who still think its good. Yeah, there are the occasional decent moments, but they're rarely worth the rest of the schlop you have to wade through.
Rwby is a better show than young justice st this point
Man, Season 2 was so good....
The first two seasons were great because it was a kids show with enough mature events for adults. Seasons three and four because they decided to just make the show for adults and lost all sense of subtlety and nuance
I haven't watched season four, did they ever acknowledge how Brion did nothing wrong?
>Acknowledging sometimes you have to kill to stop a threat.
>In the shame show where sacrificing your spine to save a serial killer is seen as a good thing.
What do you think?
He's still thought of as being wrong, but he's nowhere as villainized as you'd expect. He still wants to help people, is unaware of some of the shady stuff in Markovia, and is starting to slowly uncover what's going on.
It seems like they're actually portraying him with some sympathy which surprised me
There is still some good in YJ.
>Killing off Lor-Zod is pretty based
He was what made the later half of this season watchable that's not based
Nah, Metron closing the time loop like a badass master planner is pretty based.
Oh man that 3D feels fricking off.
You either die a good villain or live long enough to become a shitty one
Castlevania has balls and Cinemaphilemblr nerds can't deal with it. You aren't owed anything by the universe, you have to earn it yourself!
On the other hand, they now have a more sympathetic Orm that can be more like the movie and later comics one.
>the "All hail the King (female)" plot was handled pretty well.
>MERA HERSELF rails against the Atlantean moronation for buying into muh prophecy
>Arthur offloads his job to her mainly because he doesn't feel like being king anymore
>Atlantis CHEERS, even people like her father and Num-Num who had hardened grievances against the old regime
The frick you say? It was handled worse than the actual relationships.
That shit was so dumb dude.
Imagine a real-life ruler stepping down due to public dissatisfaction with his regime and his successor is literally his spouse. Who the frick would go with that. How is Mera's reign going to be any different?
>Half-breed bastard son that grew up abroad step down because people racist
>use vague prophesy to justify handing over the throne to his wife
>maintain indirect power while keeping everyone happy
>can go back to punch people
It is a win-win.
It's implied he's starting to realize he was thuroughly completely wrong in every single way possible
In the episode with a focus on him he was portrayed as good guy doing good things. He's not particularly happy that his Step 1 had to be an execution and wants to work things out with the other heroes, but Bad Samaritan keeps microdosing him with angery thoughts when he tries.
I think he was more ashamed of usurping his brother instead of extra-judiciously executing his uncle.
If Supergirl is now a thing I wonder if Brainiac will eventually be implemented now
They did Brainiac in the tie-in comic, but he could always come back. I liked that Brainy here kind of looked like him.
https://youngjustice.fandom.com/wiki/Collector_of_Worlds
Apokolips seems appropriate for a long-term threat. I'll admit during season 1 I never saw how the OG Team could've handled them, but it would be cool to see them handle it as seasoned heroes. I do think the focus on the Furies at the end means they'll be a more direct threat next time.
shouldve been canceled after the 2nd season. as soon as beastboy uttered fake zoomer speak in the first episode of the third season i knew it was over
>shouldve been canceled after the 2nd season.
it was
has the whole episode leaked yet or is just these stupid spoilers
parts of the episode are leaked in French last week that cover all the main things. Got shot down after few days
Boy they really don't want to use the actual outfits, huh?
The time skip just made the show loose its magic as a character driven show.
He was the history teacher in Conner and M’gann’s class in season 1.
But did you immediately recognized him as their teacher from season 1 or did you had to think for a while or look in the internet who he was?
To be honest, I only recognize certain characters or certain references if I visit a thread like this and someone else points it out.
He’s voiced by Greg Weisman. His voice sticks out immediately. Also helps that he snaps his fingers sometimes.
He was also in several episodes of season 3. Violet's new girlfriend is his step daughter. He was also in the audio drama as a narrator/running gag.
I agree that his presence is thin, but he has been around.
>moron that never read the comics and needs obvious shit explained to him
nah, get a brain and learn to read between the lines.
>We finally get supergirl
>She's part of Darkseid's crew
> We're gonna have to wait over a season, maybe two, to get through the drama involved in her being a part of the team
You know, it'd be nice for her to just crash land on earth and let the slice of life shenanigans ensue. Also, was granny goodness always that fricking stacked?
>was granny goodness always that fricking stacked
yes
wait what the frick I remember ads for this when I wasn't even out of grade 6 how the frick is it still going
>how the frick is it still going
by being canceled for 6 years, being revived, and then also having to switch to another streaming service after the first one died.
Damn.
Justice League + Unlimited had 91 episodes all together.
As of tomorrow Young Justice will have had 98 episodes.
And not even half are worth watching
Seriously, if you're reading this and haven't seen this show, don't go past season 1. It is incredible how quickly things go downhill.
I missed when western cartoons allowed white men to be heroes instead of always being about "strong wyman" with white men only being there to be humilated and sexually exploited
I like Dick just going "M'gann your OP as frick don't hold back, fricking melt them if you need to".
M'gann can do some crazy illusions now
>setting up HiC
UHHHHHH
What did they do to set it up? I haven’t watched it yet.
Black Canary talked about setting up Sanctuary to deal with the heroes mental trauma.
Dang, that sucks. Thankfully, I doubt it would be a straight up adaptation. I mean, Wally and Ted are dead, Babs is paralyzed, and a bunch of other characters aren’t shown to even exist as of right now.
That's true. They managed to make some shitty concepts work, like Roy's angst.
And Robot Arm Arsenal.
>Heroes in Crisis
>Muh therapy
Can people stop acting like this is a silver bullet?
but it is
hero therapy is stupid
>People who regularly deal with high stress and traumatic scenarios shouldn't get mental health treatment
Anon
These are cartoon characters, notthe real people. I don't care about them dealing with real life issues and don't want to see it.
Yeah, but why should anyone care what some antisocial incel rando on Cinemaphile thinks? Just because you lack the brainpower to comprehend a story more complex than super ninjas punching each other doesn't mean the same is true for everyone. Frick off leave
Why would I go to /misc/ when I don't care about "social commentary" in my cartoons? These characters aren't real, their "mental issues" are made up and people don't care about that stuff in their entertainment. That's why your trash show is getting canceled. Seethe harder moron.
You're probably the same type of moron who unironically believes comics and cartoons were never """political""" until recently.
You're literally delusional homosexual who talks about "people seeking mental help" in a discussion about FREAKING CARTOON CHARACTERS! Are these DC superheroes in a room with you?
>but why should anyone care what some antisocial incel rando on Cinemaphile thinks?
Is this always gonna be your go-to strawman when you don't get your way?
>more complex
This story isn't complex. it had the potential to be, but it's wasted on plot points that go nowhere. Throwing in mental health issues doesn't do it much good when you're gonna introduce even more characters afterwards
>Frick off leave
>Thinks everyone who hate this shit is pol
Figures.
Maybe you should get help, since you suggest it so much. It's not good to sperg about /misc/ so much.
in Crisis
>>Muh therapy
up HiC
It's amazing that anyone thinks King's turd of a story was any good. Though given what a train wreck this season was, not surprised Weisman and company think it is a good idea.
Maybe if Heroes In Crisis wasn't written by a burnt out idiot like Tom King, it might have been a good idea. I don't think the writers of Young Justice are going to do much better.
Tom King's PTSD-o-matic take on the Justice League was shit.
Frick that, indeed.
Black Canary looks like Kathryn Winnick here.
Therapy being a flawed, ongoing process is fine. Therapy being demonised because it's being written by a moron who uses writing comics as his excuse to not get any and therefore becomes a nonsensically dehumanising process for which everything that can go wrong does go wrong is a sign King should be fired.
>Durla
So M'comm is the ancestor of Chamelon Boy?
Can somome tell me how nightwing didn't die
Well, there were some tidbits the leak didn't spoil, so that was nice.
He cut himself with a Birdarang and slowed down his heart beat a la Batman.
Wow real original...
Boy I can't wait for Young Justice Season 5 to adapt Countdown and HiC.
>Wally comes back next season
>goes insane because reasons and HiC happens just because Greg and Brandon want to spite his fans
would be hilarious.
Wait, is Young Justice building to Darkseid as an incoming ultimate threat?
Has that been the point for ten fricking years?
Kind of but not really. He’s helping Vandal to make earth the strongest planet and conquer all the other ones, at which point they’ll fight each other.
God I hope zod escapes
There is no ultimate threat.
Weisman said he will make Young Justice seasons as long as WB keeps funding them. Darkseid is not the end game. He'll move on to someone else the moment Darkseid is "defeated"
brainiac 5 was cute
Aaay. Icicle Jr got to attend the wedding.
I was legitimately hoping for that.
Who will Icicle Jr. marry?
Tuppence Terror.
Artemis
When they were showing the different heroes at the wedding he wasn't on my mind so when they showed him there it was a nice moment.
So what's stopping Conner from convincing Icicle Jr over to his side?
Friendly reminder that starting next week on the 14th, we're getting a six-issue comic mini-series that takes place post-season four.
That's not true. She was supportive as frick when he was going through his shit. He just was shutting her out like everyone else
We're getting more Arrow Family, Bowhunter Security, Sportsmaster, and Brion, at least.
wally coming back and killing the universe
So wait the Implication was that Malefic and his followers are the origin of Chamelon Boys entire race?
Honestly they gave him a much more beign final goal than I expected.
Yeah, the White Martians seem to be the ancestors of the Durlans here.
Not a bad finale overall. Ended on a pretty high note. The season is definitely one with some major peaks and valleys, but I'm happy it ended in a good enough way.
He probably should've made that his first plan instead of the gene bomb.
He didn't want to move his stuff.
Also he wanted to dance on his mother's grave.
Can you blame him?
>So wait the Implication was that Malefic and his followers are the origin of Chamelon Boys entire race?
Whelp that's the end of his character. Good riddance.
> Malefic
So that's what his name means. I thought he was edgy and just want FUUUUCK!!! in his name.
They turned orange and probably gained the ability to become racist again :^)
They'll probably have some scifi explanation like accelerated evolution due to some mad scientists doing genetic tinkering.
Isn't that basically endorsing Back to Africa?
Who was the dude near icicle Jr freaked out everyone he knew is a superhero?
Marvin. He and Wendy befriended Conner and M'gann when they started school in season 1.
I thought it was some weird Dobie Gillis cameo until I saw he was sitting next to Wendy lol.
Why couldn't they just go the teen titans route for the entire series?
Thank god DC doesn't let him have starfire and raven in the show
Starfire could easily be a Fury in S5
>at weddding
>"look, I know you have a mental breakdown due to all the death and suffering, and you are getting better"
>"but you aren't the chad I thought you were"
>"so I've moved on to a new wiener"
most realistic part of the episode
>More beast for me, b***h.
I haven't seen the episode, but good
FRICKING GOOD
Frick Beast boy! I'm happy she moved on.
I'm glad. Hope beast boy gets kicked from his Star Trek show permanently too.
Beast Boy became so insufferably during the depression arc I honestly can't blame her.
>blaming a character for bad writing
It's not Beast Boy's fault Weisman and Vietti forgot they were writing an animated superhero show and not a CW superhero show.
Lor-Zods death was pretty fricking genius.z
The problem with the arcs is that they usually ended up giving way more screentime to some other character that the arc wasn't even about.
That was the worst part of the season even more embarrassing was how it didn't actually focus on the characters themselves
>Rocket Arc
>it focuses on everyone but Rocket
I liked the New Gods stuff but you could have swapped out Rocket with pretty much any other character to be an ambassador from Earth. The writers don't seem to know what to do with her.
>The writers don't seem to know what to do with her.
Neither did Dwyane
Has anyone ever done a really good Rocket story? You could probably do something interesting with the technology angle.
The idea of the sidekick incentivizing their partner into becoming a hero is interesting and was even discussed in YJ season 1. But you could only do it justice on a story about Icon and Rocket, especially an origin story.
They'd probably make Icon autistic.
>Kara
Made for Spanish wiener.
YJ FINALE TIERS
S1
S4
S3
S2
S2's my favorite season but it's finale was a fricking mess.
>Wendy and Marvin
Does that mean this was supposed to be Wonder Dog?
Wolf? No. Dog in the middle is Artemis and Wally’s dog.
Well shit. They should have thrown in a Wonder Dog cameo.
Is Season 5 confirmed?
Not yet but apparently the ratings are very good and HBO likes to renew last minute.
where is phantom girl give me phantom girl now
Brainic 5 shows up right before the wedding tells the legionnaires that everything back to normal and takes them home, they don't even stay for wedding.
>everything back to normal
>Icicle JR catches the bouquet
kek
Tuppence is in trouble.
I'm not a Legion of Superheroes guy. What was up with Ursa Zod's ending? She goes to Daxam. Is that a thing that happens in the comics?
no, in the comics Daxam was in the same solar system as Krypton and was destroyed when Rao blew up.
She's just there because as I said, Daxamites are basically Kryptonians. She wants to raise an army.
I can't claim to be enough of a Superman scholar to say for certain. But I am a fan of Sodam Yat, one of the two or three famous Daxamites, and to my knowledge his species is basically never relevant to any plot outside of Green Lantern and Legion stuff.
Daxam is highly Isolationist so they rarely do frick all
Darkseid takes them over in the Great Darkness Saga
>Zod's army served their sentence
>plan to release them later
I hope it gets canceled, what little good can out of this will be overshadowed by the immense amount of LGBTP, race mixing, and anti white propaganda that this show will spew on to the screen.
I really liked S1, it was the bast DC cartoon after BTAS, and STAS but it's been defiled past the point of no return
>there didn't seem to be any scholars or engineers among Zod's men
They did mention Jax-Ur by name.
>Slade's sloppy thirds
well, that is just about what BB deserves
I think you might be a crazy person, anon. You misread Cinemaphile as /lgbt/. You're not on the correct board.
You brainless tasteless fricking clown.
>sloppy seconds
>hurrr no hymen no diamond
Cringe
it's one thing when a girl is not a virgin, it's another when she fricks a serial killer and jumps back on his wiener the moment he snaps his fingers.
That being said
>no hymen no diamond
truth hurts doesn't it? Picrel
Incel energy
I think you might be a crazy person, anon. You misread Cinemaphile as /misc/. You're not on the correct board.
>what little good can out of this will be overshadowed by the immense amount of LGBTP, race mixing, and anti white propaganda that this show will spew on to the screen.
Meds. Take them now.
made for corruption
A shame we won't get that outfit.
I wonder if season 5 ( if it gets renewed) will have 26 episodes just like the last two seasons, or it’ll get 10-13 due to being the first time it gets renewed in HBOMAX.
Kinda wished that Conner stayed with Zod a little bit longer.
26 letters -
Guess what the episode titles will spell out for Season 5
>S4
>INVITATION TO KNEEL BEFORE ZOD
shit, forgot about that
Cant remember if Daxamites exist in the Young Justice universe in this time period? Maybe they're parallelling it with the the Durlans
Ma'al > Durlans
Lor-Zod > Daxamites
They do. Lor-Zod was even identified as a Daxamite by Tomar-Tu's (since he WAS born there in his time).
In the Zone, Zod asked if Krypton was destroyed by the Daxamites.
>Is thrown out of the show forever in like 20 seconds
>Didn't get a single thank you for saving Superboy
>Didn't even stay for the wedding
Why do they keep doing us dirty like this.
superboy should've thrown her to the floor and fricked her in front of everyone
well Superboy saved her life in the phantom zone, they're even.
Wasn't Mary on Fate's leash?
No Mary fricked off when Zatanna told her she COULDN'T be Fate and Granny started to influence her then.
No, Zatana said that she was too susceptible to power to be part of the Fate rotation. This caused her to quit and get seduced by Granny
Wow... they went all in on Miss M being the most powerful here. Absolutely no one even Ursa powered up by the Emerald Eye stood a chance against her when she was going all out.
Honestly I like Megan for being more to mind trickery rather than firepower. Guest Mind blast is the most OP powerset tho
"Conner I know you could never do me harm"
"aww M'gann"
"by which I mean I could stomp you into the ground in like 10 seconds"
to be fair SB's primary purpose in this show is to be MM's simp and to job
you know I just remembered something, Greg said he nerfed Superman (Superman can't even survive in space without a mask) and the Martians since otherwise the story would not make sense... then made Megan "the most powerful psychic mind I have ever seen" according to Manhunter. It seems like the only characters that are allowed to be powerful are women... I will bet money that both Kon and Kal are gonna get beaten easily by Darksied only for Kara to turn good and one shot him.
Megan literally is an abomination who masquerades as a woman. Don't be moronic
Hopefully they'll let autism Orion get a couple of good swings in on Darksied.
If you were looking for an actually valid example I think your closest would be how ludicrously one-sided Child slapping down Nabu's "plan" to beat her was, and even she is just powered up absurdly by having the support of every Lord of Chaos except Klarion.
this was the lowest budget show I have ever watched except like ghost stories
I am going to miss her.
same.
I really wanted to see more into this Phantom Girl's personality.
tinya got a big butt
Why haven't they healed her hand by now? Zatana could have fixed it with magic or they could have had one of the metahumans with a healing specialization tend to it.
I feel like the show fumbled when it came to giving Tinya needed focus
It happens every season. A new character (or group of characters) is introduced and everyone is excited, but they get barely any screentime because the show gets sidetracked on some garbage storyline like Beastboy's drug problem or some Atlantean fish throuple.
They gave her curves
That this truly awful show is cancelled
They really need to do..... something for Danny to get him out of that box.
Like a Robotman type thing maybe? not great but it's surely better than literally being a box.
they haven't had time, Kon still had burns in the video wedding invitation as well as Snapper saying he go ordained as a martian wedding priest in one day and we know that otherwise fatal wounds on Kryptonians heal in minutes on earth so they literally had the wedding the next day after they got Kon back
Tim moved on to a new girl
Orion looks so uncomfortable.
Autists are often uncomfortable in social situations.
Amistad seemed fine. Helps that Lian was keeping him company.
why is he even there? he has no connection to connor
Rocket's plus-one I guess
It seems a little creepy that they'd give her an autistic kid and an autistic boyfriend.
They can probably bond better than the kid's actual father
He's the designated driver for the rest of the Forth World characters.
That corgi is tripping his little dog balls off
OH N-
Metron has been a gay all season but he's based as frick for this
BLACKENED
lol what a dumbass
Press S to SPIT
Okay wait, Lor was actually really fricking dumb here, so he comments on how someone has already set the time sphere's destination, sees that he's been brought to the moment JUST before the explosion happens and still tries to take Superboy out?
He thought he did it himself
His plan was to go out, kill Connor, get back in the time sphere, de-sync from time, then after the explosion leave.
People tend to act stupid in desperation.
His dad got sent back to the Phantom Zone
His mom got nabbed by a green eye
>I HAVE TO ACT QUICK
>0.1 seconds later
>OH WAIT THE KRYPTONITE BOMB, I WANNA GO BACK
based moron
>if only you knew how bad things reall-
I'm glad this Black person is dead.
>evil
>no cleavage
I know this is surprising considering they had Fury Supergirl on screen before
Barda there has some cleava-BUT FRICK THAT SHIT, Look at Mommy Goodness, she is STACKED.
So there has been a lot of bullshit these last two seasons. How how of it can be edited down DB Kai style? I think it's safe to assume Lagoon Boy's cuckery can be cut completely .
You could probably just omit most of Artemis and Kaldur's arcs and it would be fine.
Choose Your wife, /co!
easy, picrel
Zatanna is decent second place and the rest go in the trash
I hope she stays with Kon and Megan and MM plays games with her where they switch places and try to see how far Kon will go with her until he notices. Greg has already confirmed that Megan likes to pretend to be other girls when she and Kon have sex, using her sister would just be the next logical step; I could totally see her making Kon act out scenes from "Hello Megan" with her sister playing Rita only for it to turn in to a porno.
>the thousand yard stare on Megan
I know it's just animators being lazy but it looks like Conner just told her that he's cheating on her with Rita
why is vixen a bridesmaid? She doesn't even know Megan, that should be Black Canary since she's good friends with both Kon and Megan... and is Rocket seriously wearing pants to a wedding?
What's worse is that they're high-waisted granny pants.
That's Bumblebee. Vixen isn't in the show yet.
Ah, yeah you are right. Her design looked a lot like Vixen and Bee hasn't been around all season so I forgot about her. Still should be Dinah though
it had to be a conscious choice since one of the girls could have lent her a dress or Zatanna altered her outfit, we know she has a cloths spell since she's used it before.
The green one
VERY based. Martian women are BUILT for the BEC
Zee, obviously...
Based, love her
I'm seriously wonder how the show performs. Greg said it's quite good even acknowledge the hater of this show could be a lot more than season 1 audiences
Always Artemis
Wait, who are the two black girls? I only remember Rocket.
Bumblebee
Zee, it's not even close. Feed the rest into a trash compactor, especially M'gann.
Don't take Zod's rambling too seriously, he's a warlord with a warlord mindset and the House of El is...well, the opposite of that.
Ngl I liked Black Canaries reaction to seeing Conner alive
>Weisman is doing Heroes in Crisis
WALLY BROS LET'S FRICKIN GOOOO murder Lagoon, and Roy, and a bunch of other shitters
>Zod's theorising about why Clark was sent to Earth instead of some more suitable planet.
... OK, I know the real world explanation is that Superman was not created with a shared universe in mind, but what is the canon explanation?
Thanks man!
Current canon? Jor didn’t have any time he just told the ship AI to scan the best likely locations to send Kal. The AI picked Earth because the sun would give Kal powers and humans would be weak enough to not pose a threat to him
To die and never come back.
>TimxSteph
I'm surprised how, given everything, Weisman didn't take the queer route on Tim
Frick Tim/Steph
Its better than that tim/bernard shit
>Frick Tim/Steph
That'll likely be all the Tim/Steph we'll get in YJ
>Its better than that tim/bernard shit
Because they'll do this next season and they won't explain shit how they got 2gether.
I can't get over the fact that Tim and Cassie obviously broke up. I mean FRICK!
>Sanctuary
Oh, frick no.
>Bring back Wally.
another finger curls on the monkey's paw.
How many monkey's paws have we gone through since YJ was renewed at all?
How did Granny get Kara AND Mary?
Mary was depressed over the loss of her powers and her friends no longer trusted her with power. Granny then offered her power.
Kara was in the Phantom Zone and was given to Granny by the Light as tribute. The Light also captured every Kryptonian in the Zone (save Ursa who escaped to Daxam)
>I can't trust you with Nabu Mary, you are too easily corruptible.
>How dare you say that now if you excuse me I going to work for Darksied.
This is the guy who will go to frick supergirl.
That's fricked up.
Hoping for Kara x Billy
>Metron just fricking mercs Lor
>Icicle Jr at Connor's wedding
That's some kino.
Is the ending with M'coom suppose to imply that Durlans are just nth generation white martians?
yes, though it's moronic, see
Intense sex with Conner.
even with edits the art style makes it look ugly. Why couldn't they just go with a more classic design? It looked good and was easy to draw
>You've never had Black Mary before.
Jason Bard proposes to Artemis
Lightning Bolt strikes in Central City revealing Wally.
Drama Ensues, both between Artemis and Wally, but also Artemis being mad at Zatana and M'Gann.
Frick me, they're setting up a Heroes in Crisis plot with that "sanctuary" idea from Black Canary, so that very well could be a thing.
Damn this show has some pretty good COOM bait
Forgot to add another example
I could never get into YJ. The show is less of a love letter to DC and more of a circle jerk over DC, you know what I mean?
I do agree the show jerking Vandal mighty reproduction organ too much. Everything connected to his dick
Can Connor and Megan even have kids?
clone roy did but somehow still isn't a genetic match to his daughter
theoretically not but then again a Kryptonian and human had a kid naturally so who knows
Guess she can just eject the sperm out?
>physiology =/= genetic compatibility
genetically speaking a martian and Kryptonian should be further apart genetically than a human and a jellyfish
It may have to be a science baby then. Or they could just adopt.
>physiology =/= genetic compatibility
Wasn't Miss Martian able to change her blood-type to save Beast Boy back in Season One; does that have any effect?
She has magical bullshit powers that let her do whatever the plot requires.
Based Conner inviting his best friend Icicle.jr to the wedding.
So is the Eye using Ursa or what? I'm not sure what to interpret here.
Wait i just realised that M'gann is getting fricked by a ten year old.
Yeah but, you know... Age of consent only exists because it roughly aligns with sexual maturity, I don't think it matters if the guy still has the body and mind of a 20 year old.
Is this the /ss/ I keep hearing so much about
it's worse than that, she's 58 years old
I can't quite remember, what exactly does the Light intend to accomplish?
Built up an army to conquer the rest of the galaxy. When that's done, have one big dance off against Darkseid
>M'comm is loyal grunt and does what's asked of him
>Gets a planet in return
Love it when villains honor agreements with each other.
It's especially funny when looking back at how often people claimed Darkseid would backstab M'comm and destroy Mars or something.
Darkseid is the God of Tyranny. Not Treachery.
>Ursa Empress taken to one of the planets populated in the future
>Another world important later on populated by white martians by M'comm
This ought-ta be a whole lot of nothing.
The bio dad seems like the more responsible parent and more invested in getting help. Rocket seems like the disinterested one. If she's already having trouble bonding with her own autistic kid, Orion seems like a weird match for her.
We are putting more thoughts into this than Weisman did. You think this will even be addressed in season 5, if there is one?
There will probably be some bullshit timeskip and all of this will be completely irrelevant anyway.
Why isn't Raven in this show?
You want another plot about Trigon? She's a one trick pony.
Artemis?
>Artemis?
hasn't been mainline bow user for a while plus dropped the old Artemis hero persona
>Arsenal Roy?
seems like he's out of the arrow thing too
> Clone Roy?
only real candidate but he's retired
Arrowette exists.
Conner doesnt even have full kryptonian power, even though i wish he did.
What about that other arrow girl that shows up back in s3?
Arrowette barely gets a second of screen time. Makes no sense for her to take over. Static taking over as Black Lightning 2 would make more sense than her.
Is Arrowette even Cissie in YJ
It wouldn't be that far fetched as the show really love to underdeveloping their characters thanks to the bloated characters
>Connor will likely take over as Superman,
Isn't superman basically immortal
No?
It depends but in a lot of stories he's able to live for about a thousand years under a yellow sun
Depends. Weisman prefers a weaker Supes so probably not here
You'd need a massive time skip before that ever becomes a worry. Like 50+ years.
>WHERE'S MY GOD DAMN ELECTRIC CAR, BRUCE?!
Does the ending with Megan's brother imply the Durlans are descendants of Martians?
I recall that being implied elsewhere, too
Does Zod's design vary so much in adaptations and reboots so much because the original design sucks?
Yeah. His design has been pretty consistent ever since the New 52 gave him the armor look. The armored look with the Z-shield is cool
Why didn't Lex steal the wedding cake?
kek
>Black on black violence
wtf Greg is based now?
Will Darkseid give her his Dark seed?
>Do you know how expensive tard proofing Apokolips is?
I miss this show so much.
>what did the men die of?
Crushed pelvises
Raven?
Just M'Gann with her Hood up
>Megan is Raven and Starfire fused
My god
Mrs martian has a blue hoodie as well
Weisman doesn't seem to like the character otherwise she would have appeared already.
That's a cool shot.
Between BB's dragged depression arc and the autism arc, i'm starting to lose interest in how they will handle Jason Todd, atleast Chaos left a good impact.
They’ll take the single line about Jason being in an autistic state after his resurrection and give it a whole arc.
They could start a whole autistic team at this point.
Press F for Lor-Zod and the Magic School Bus.
Nah, I'll press S instead.
so Bart and Eduardo are totally fricking right?
>so Bart and Eduardo are totally fricking right?
Right about what?
What was Clark watching?
Lois considers herself a "serious journalist" and probably sees gossip news as lowbrow so he doesn't want her to know he watches it.
Speaking of that, I guess cat Grant doesn't show up in news reports anymore because she founded CatCo.
A preview of the TMNT crossover.
Source on that comic
Seconding this.
What were Bear and Batman talking about?
>So this bat creature... it is a large, power predator, yes?
>No, see, it's like criminals are a cowardly and superstitious lot and-
>So your enemies are all cowards?
>It's cool! Shut up! You got cucked out of your name by a pet!
Made for Orion
(Gives weird, awkward hug)
>I am glad you yet live, Raquel.
I wish he and the son could have talked, that would've been fun.
It wouldn't end well, but maybe it would have been entertaining to see
>Amistad gets triggered and starts screaming and sperging out because someone put his toy cars with the wheels facing the wrong way
>Orion gets triggered because of the screaming and can't reach the Motherbox in time
>He goes on a berserker rage and starts trashing the wedding
>Heroes who don't know about his autism or his claustrophobia try to contain him and that just makes him angrier and more violent
Connor is suppose to be Jon's older half brother not uncle. Shame on Clark for not wanting to accept Luthor's rape tube baby as his son and settled for being brothers.
I felt like as a magic user, Kaldur should have fared better against Zod.
Zee should have been able to wreck them too.
That's not how magic works. Magic isn't Kryptonite.
They aren't weak to magic they just have no special defense for it like a magic user like Dr.Fate would
>They aren't weak to magic
Dwayne Johnsons said otherwise
While I'm not trying to defend Dwayne, It's important to clarify that he didn't say that Superman was "Weak" as with kryptonite, but that Superman was just weak, which is true, he is invulnerable to almost everything, but not to magic, so extreme aggressive magic based users like Adam are clearly a danger for him.
Kaldur's magic was never the pew pew laser kind to begin with
>We need a place where our people can go to escape the life for a day, a week, a month, somewhere safe. Somewhere where they can receive help
>A Sanctuary
Why would you willingly choose to adapt Heroes in Crisis after the poor reception that not only HiC received but Beast Boy's entire arc this season got?
It can't be worse that the actual comic.
>but Beast Boy's entire arc this season got?
it only received poor reception here.
Who cares what the reception on fricking Cinemaphile is?
that's what I'm saying
I doubt it's actual HiC, the "murder" has been retconned for good reason
>Literally zero lewds of YJ Phantom Girl, it's all from the LoSH cartoon
>THIS IS BULLSHIT VANDAL!! I was the one to invent hip hop, not you! Stop claiming credit for everything.
Stop it please. You're making me have saudade for VB.
The moment the Light used their zoom calls back in season 1, I half expected Dr. Z or the Sovereign to pop up and call out the bullshit.
KEK
I want to frick Tuppence Terror, Phantom Girl, Emory and Super Girl!
She's back to being M'ree (pronounce like Marie)
Made for Earth wiener
>Earth wiener
half kryptonain earth wiener
Not gonna lie, even though she is actually a giant monster she is pretty cute. The red and green combo looks good
Shocking that this show goes into the shitter as it starts taking notes from Tom King.
>several plot points that are pointless
>several plot points that are only there to be revisited in the next season
>finally introduce the big bad
>job him out to Superman
Give it a rest, especially to Superman. It's nice to see him living his name without being turned to evil. Dude also already took to much losses only for the other could have a chance to shine
Only fair given the Supers are the designated jobbers of the show
to be fair, if there is one person who should be able to beat Zod it's Kal El. Also, Kon got his ass kicked by Lor, it wasn't until Megan brain blasted him that Kon started winning.
Their equivalent of Infinity War/Endgame to begin.
I'm shocked that this season didn't end with the Legion going back to their time to report to President Savage of the United Planets that everything has "seen the light" or something
right? I legit assumed we would get that. Like one of R.J Brande's entire story is very vandal-esque.
Wasn't that guy just Ra's al Ghul? Or was that a different Legion era civilian?
I like how all the main Justice Leaguers arrived the literal second the battle is over. Like, they could have washed Zod easily if they had those guys instead of just the Young Justice squad. They seem to take down more global threats than the main Justice League.
They still haven't beaten the Light?
No and they probably never will with Greg "I'll never write an ending" Weisman although one of Vandal's plans was foiled in the Kaldur arc that it made the unga bunga man seethe hard but as always the Light always comes on top at the end.
Honestly surprised no one has mentioned the Sanctuary setup for next season.
Does anyone think the murder mystery will be a plot point?
Yes, nobody mentioned it, not even if you ctrl f for HiC or Sanctuary
Who the frick is this guy? I combing through my whole fricking brain trying to place this butthole and I can't
Snapper Carr, daddy-o.
Earth has multiple superheroes capable of kicking Kryptonian ass. Why did none of them show up? Why did they leave it to fricking Nightwing and Artemis?
Now that she's married what sitcom wife will Mrs Martian base her personality on?
I'm not the only one that noticed her breasts were massive this season compared to past seasons right?
Same for MM and her booty being more prominent.
I swear, if Wally comes back only so Weisman can do his fricked up interpretation of HiC, I may actually burst a blood vessel. Cannot believe how naively optimistic I was.
Can Mary Marvel do ANYTHING except get corrupted and co-opted by malign forces?
We'll find out in "The New Champion of SHAZAM!" in stores August 2nd!
Since this one is almost at the limit, here's a new thread
>The Speedster becomes relevant
>Villains flatfooted for a change
Heh
do you guys like the art style
unironically yes
I liked season 1 and 2 but I for some reason really liked Wally and just refuse to watch until he is back.
I'm assuming the next time skip will only be a year again, if only to pay off Barda seeing the time-traveling bus a year from now.
>New Thread:
https://twitter.com/Greg_Weisman/status/1535034617509449729
He might be joking Greg's saying he literally put the HIC nod in there to frick with people.
how ahs the legion appeared in so many shows recent years and still have no comic of their own?
>Superman misses Brainiac V
>AGAIN
For once I wish some show has these two meet for a brief second and Superman instantly tries to go for the kill
So if there is another season its going to involve Starro and a Krypton army controlled by Vandal/Darkseid?
Whoever is animating this is clearly an ass man.
