You're a fricking hypocrite if you hate marvel but love LOTR

>Marvel
>Shitty plots overstuffed with humor and action
>LOTR
>Literally the same fricking concept as above
>Gimli is reduced to a fat joker
>Aragon and Boromir are reduced to Disney-tier arcs
>Woke Eowyn "I AM NO MAN" moment
>Arwen is a warrior strong queen
>Atrocious ass CGI (Legolas on the Olyphant)
>Shit VFX, direction, cinematography
Why do you autists praise these movies as the greatest ever made? Tolkien is rolling over in his grave

He isn't evil in the movie either. He has the exact same conflict and redeems himself before his death.

Two Towers is peak Marvel shit. Sliding down the stairs with a badass dismount? Blackwidow movie makes a whole joke about doing things in an inefficient and awkward way just to look good.

LOTR is for white people. Capeshit is for Black folk, spics, and other mystery meat. It’s better than having a 23andMe screenshot.

      >LOTR is for white people
3rd biggest market for LOTR is Japan, more popular there than any other big euro country except the UK
      >muh honourary whites

I love LOTR but this menas nothing.
        Japanese taste is horrendous.
RWBY is one of the most popular shows over there.

There is currently a "White" themed promotional burger at Burger King Japan that features all white ingredients and has promotional posters with the white hand of Isengard around the stores.
You can purchase a "Great White CheeseBurger"

The movies mog the hell out of the shitty books.

Jackson had to add some actual tension and stakes to make them into a viable story. Helm's Deep is an apocalyptic battle worthy of ending the 2nd movie, in the book the Uruks were 90% routed before reinforcements even showed up. Meanwhile in Gondor the army was at 90% strength even though half the country was overrun.

Tolkien's dialogue was atrocious. Book-Faramir is a Mary Sue who isn't even remotely tempted by the ring. He's just there to regurgitate Tolkien's personal philosophies.

Everything else was a small tweak to make things flow better. Tom Bombadil would have been pointless(maybe a future LOTR TV miniseries could sneak him in). Having Arwen help Aragorn in Fellowship introduced her and showed the audience why he loves her - a much better choice than casting a Glorfindel who would never show up again.

    >“Hinder me? Thou fool. No living man may hinder me!"
    >Then Merry heard in all sounds of the hour the strangest. It seemed that Dernhelm laughed, and the clear voice was like the ring of steel.
    >"But no living man am I! You are looking upon a woman. Eowyn am I, Eomund's daughter. >You stand between me and my lord and kin.
Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him."
I take the line in the movie every time over ""I am a woman"

Also, battle of pelennor fields is dogshit in the books, movie battle mocks it every single time, even with the "muh ghosts" scene
