It was new when there was no new anime and I wanted to frick Rukia even with her big ears. If YuYu can do the same with Botan I'll watch. I'm expecting something like Supernatural/Buffy/Grimm not The Avengers.

Edge of Tomorrow (Live Die Repeat) was really really good, but it only vaguely followed the manga/ln and changed the ending entirely.
There was a pretty good Lupin the Third live action movie.
That's all I can think of. Anime doesn't have a long list of good live action stuff, but it's possible to make good stuff with it. YYH will probably be bad not because it's an anime adaptation, but because it's made by Netflix
Japanese artists seem to hate designing characters that look distinctly Asian so it's always weird when they try to make an anime into live action and feel obligated to cast Japanese actors instead of just actors who actually look like the characters.
God, I really want to see this, it looks like they put so much effort into it. The actors look fine, but the costumes and wigs are perfect. But a huge corporation couldn't even bother to try...
