big franchise, most normie guy in cast, no controversy until his cast mate made mourning him part of their social posts to promote the movie.

I'll always be thankful to Paul Walker

He showed an entire generation of white guys how to appropriately interact with nonwhite people in 2000's America when we actually had to begin giving a shit about their opinions and desires

Whenever I have to meet a black or Latino person, I always just start acting like Paul Walker and everything's fine and I feel much more calm and confident about being a white male and for a brief minute when we bump fists, it's like slavery and colonization and smallpox never even happened and I can just enjoy a nice Corona with friends.

He was on the way to fixing race relations in the US for the next century, while healing the trauma of past ages.

He was too pure for this world, which is why they GOT him.

No. I barely heard of him before he died. A lightweight, cinematically speaking. Saw the doc and they talk about him becoming potentially the next Steve McQueen, but that was hardly a given. If Josh Hartnet or Ashton Kutcher had died prematurely, maybe we'd mourne them as potential icons of kino.

He was never the start. Vin Diesel was, and still is the only reason why the franchise didn't die. They almost gave up after Tokyo Drift failed to keep up the hype around the car modding days.

Got bigger after he died, and all the most successful ones were ensamble movies where he isn’t even the main character.

What do you mean big deal? He was an A-List star purely on the back of Fast and Furious. He had no other big projects. Like, no one other said, “Hey, Paul Walker is in this. Let’s check it out.” They would do that for Vin or Dwayne. But never Paul.

Right, and he had to come crawling back to the Fast and the Furious after all his other projects flopped.

Eh, kinda? He was a teenage heartthrob and then went into movies. His biggest thing was the Fast and Furious franchise and his death was an unexpected hit for a guy who seemed genuinely nice.

No one gave a shit about him until he died, he was just one of the actors from Fast and Furious. Of current young actors I would say he was comparable to Dylan O’Brien.
