The internet keeps getting more boring and soulless but I'm hopeful that it will get better, I think it's pretty cool that we were alive in time to watch the dawn of such an amazing invention, the internet will be around thousands of years from now and we were alive to watch the very beginning and be a part of that history, I think that's just so cool.
how come they don't make animated shorts anymore? everything has to be some big budget serialized shit like Hazbin Hotel and Digital Circus or whatever the frick it's called
it probably felt that way because we were so young, and it was mostly filled with young people. Back then, social media was more innocent and we mainly used it to facilitate irl interaction. Now, everyone lives on it and it is most peoples primary means of social interaction. Why just tonight at the bar, I looked around me, and saw most friend groups all on their phones instead of actually talking to eachother. Kind of insane.
Agreed. The adpocalypse killed all the creativity in youtube and encouraged low effort grifters to take their place. I miss harry padridge's animations, and the time when Oney, Ego and Psychicpebbles(or whatever) were also still animating stuff
Remember that salad finger shit.
Always thought it was weird looking and in fact moronic so i never actually watched it.
>t. hubert cumberdale

All these videos lose their punch once you grow up. The internet sucks and always has.
These flash cartoons were far better than all the TikTok shit that people watch these days.
nah, it's still great, same as most of David's works
Homestar Runner and There She Is were some of my favourite things growing up. The whole Flash era of cartoons and games was something special
It was mostly reddit except for burnt face man and stickdeath
first time I've ever seen a picture of Firth himself.
