That's depressing, I like the pink poodle show
>does Batty regains her human form by the end of Season 2?
That already happened in the first half of S2.
Did part 2 even come out yet?
>That already happened in the first half of S2.
Didn't you hear, anon? That was just a two episode deal...
Second part came out like a month or two ago, no one has ripped it yet, though
Ew the weird pee fetish thing
Funny enough, they toned it down for the tv show.
He's still the punching bag though
show batty is more frickable than movie batty
RTX OFF
I'm gonna be honest with you I only watched the first episode and stopped watching there, and kinda forgot to continue watching
I've been trying for years to try and get hired at this studio and I just found out you don't even work the entire work year so I won't be able to afford an apartment
How is the animation industry doing there on the Land Down Under, Aussie Animator Anon? (I'm assuming you are Australian, so I can make that sweet AAA acronym)
I've been finding some very interesting animated series that came from there and never before in my life I heard about them.
I'm still trying to get my foot in the door but from what I'm seeing Sydney seems to just be a massive outsource hub. Specifically for CG animation for Live-Action Films and AAA Video Games. I'm studying 2d animation though and in the case of Flying Bark I believe they are trying to create more home-grown content created in-house which would be pretty cool.
We used to have a Disney Studio here in Sydney that animated most of the Disney Sequel Films and the Disney Afternoon shows and even the Goofy Movie. That studio disbanded in like 2008 and a lot of those oldheads are teachers now. I think most home-grown TV animation nowadays goes through Flying Bark which used to be called Yorram Goross which was just Aussie Hannah-Barbera.
How hard is the shipping between the main hero and the female dog in the show?
More than expected, less than it should be... specially during the first season where they gave her a human form.
Now that she is back to fulltime dog, chances of her giving him a litter of puppies have been reduced (or increased?). I guess that's why OP wants to know what happens at the end of the season.
I haven't heard about this show since the initial announcement. How and why Batty lost her human form? How she was able to transform into human in there first place? Does the mc still keep her as his pet?
Alright, I just finished watching the second season, and in regards to your question about Batty:
No, unfortunately.
The second half of season 2 is mostly focused on the time travel shenanigans and dealing with the witch Hath. Since the main plotline was defeating her they didn't really have time to dedicate to getting Batty's human form yet. However I doubt they'd scrap the design entirely especially as she still appears in the opening and all. Hopefully the show gets a season 3 because that could be a chance to get her the human form back, but for now we've just got dog Batty.
Not him, but any Ivan spoilers you can give if he was any relevant? He had a decent role in the first season.
He's my favorite.
Ivan is very much still Ivan, so you'll be pleased with that. He has some relevant moments, and of the side characters continues to have one of the stronger presences in the show. He does get an episode focused on him and another character who is introduced in the second half of the season. As for specific spoilers if you want them,
Ivan also tries hitting on Freddy's ancestor from the past several times, and towards the end of the season accidentally kills everyone in milford and maybe the world but luckily that all gets reversed with time travel.
>last part
Hilarious. A very Ivan thing to do. Will watch, eventually, witches and time shenanigans seems fun.
I don't expect much from the plot, but the strong cast and their interactions is why the show is watchable.
My favorite parts were where she acted like a dog while in human form
There aren't too many of those as the series goes on, she seems to get used to being a human. She still has some cute acting like a dog moments while she's still a dog though.
Such as?
OP, thanks, anon.
>spoiler
Truly a pity... I wouldn't mind it that much had they not teased us with her returning to human form at the end of the first half.
Alas, at least now I have no rush to see the rest. Thanks again for the spoiler.
Another question, how's the character of the ancestor? We didn't really saw much on her introductory episode.
The ancestor? She's alright. I don't remember her standing out too much against the cast but she wasn't annoying or anything. She's strong, determined, a bit like Freddy in that regard but much less goofy. She's a bit more serious.
I can't recall all of them but one that stuck out to me was when she noticed light coming in through a window and curled up in the area where the light hit the floor to nap in the sun's warmth. This stuck out to me in particular as I see my own dogs do this all the time.
Thanks again, anon.
I wonder if any of this will be connected to 200% Wolf
Anything about the hot dad?
Nothing of note, but he's still there and gets a decent amount of screentime.
But I heard he's stuck in his wolf form the whole season?
He spends a lot of time in his wolf form + office attire when he appears as a member of the night patrol, But I definitely remember him also in his human form.
