It was doomed the moment the US, for whatever reason, decided not to embrace it. It was ready to go the moment Disney+ launched. If they had simply put it on there as Disney+ Original, it probably would have gotten a second season. Instead, it got added over a year later without any fanfare. It wasn't even part of their "new to Disney+" press release.
Did they think it was too British for American audiences? Would kids really care that they don't know what Camden Town is? It sucks because season 2 was initialized and scripts were written, but they quickly shifted away and quietly cancelled it.
The two main siblings were just too annoying and those teeth things they decided to do were super ugly

>Did they think it was too British for American audiences? Would kids really care that they don't know what Camden Town is?
I don't think this would be the reason, since Peppa Pig and Bluey are both popular in the US.
Disney is big, and some parts of it are indeed moronic. Dalmatian Street being cancelled reeks of some higher up who just didn't like it doing everything they could to bury it, since none of the decisions around it make sense.
>some higher up who just didn't like it
We keep saying/hearing this all of the time. Could it just be that it was a moderately rated show that was determined to never curve upwards and so was scrapped just because their plan is for show after show be produced to market to advertisers. The substance of the audience connection literally doesn't seem to matter, since some shows have almost zero merch. They literally just look at the numbers for certain shows on the factory line, and cancel them when they aren't appealing enough for the next year of advertising.
Everyone knows it's a corporate machine. You just need to ask yourself the simple question of "HOW is it profitable"? How does it continue to function under its own weight?
It does get grey with revenue streams like Disney+, but what's clear is that only big time brands like Star Wars will ever make it into fixtures like the parks, and I'm just continuously skeptical about the sincerity ratio of small IPs under big brands, because I can never tell if the moderately paid staff aren't just making unintentional mind control slop to funnel my pituitary glands up to walt Disney, or if they are REAL people that I should form parasocial relationships with.
The two main siblings were just too annoying and those teeth things they decided to do were super ugly

Your deductive powers are absolutely astounding. You will grow up to be the next Sherlock Holmes.
Not samegay. These gifs deserve to be re-posted. Aren't we supposed to apreciate good animation?
This thread does indeed reek of samegay
And I'm not talking about one anon posting a bunch of pics
I'm talking about obviously replying to yourself to pretend there's interest in a dead dogfricker show
And yes we can all use our phones to change IP
Doesn’t really need to be samegay
It’s a slam dunk way to insure someone bumps the thread with multiple posts without much effort when you yourself don’t have much else to add
I like them both for what they are. The OG movie is more grounded and serious, so the more realistic style works. Dalmatian Street is wackier and more cartoony so I like the exaggerated style for the pups.
At some point she had to admit opposable thumbs were an advantage to ruling an empire with an iron fist so she commissioned her scientists to figure out a way for her to have the best of both worlds
There ain’t much left to discuss tho
We kept the threads going for a time after the final episode but ultimately with nothing new coming out, we eventually ran out of content
I’m no artgay or writegay and I’m not perceptive enough to hone in on the implications of little details added by the show runners so my only real contribution as far as >new thread content
goes was posting screenshots taken at just the right moment to make some dumb or dirty joke. No new episodes meant no new screenshots so all I could do was comment on the stuff that others added. But the artgays and writegays mostly moved on and at some point there wasn’t any new angle to consider
Even if it wasn’t true, I like the alternative premise/idea that Dylan and Dolly are the parents better than them just being the eldest siblings. >They are opposites who make a good duo, both bring something to the table that the other doesn’t and cover each others weaknesses when working together >It makes it similar to the original movie where Pongo and Perdita are the protagonists >The parents don’t need fake jobs when the house is already taken care of by their eccentric and absent owner and they aren’t paid anyway, as such it seems an awful lot like they do a good share of the parenting already given their parents aren’t around a lot
The only downside would be the >Dylan is a cuckold because there’s no such thing as a happy, loving couple
element that would inevitably develop
They both brought puppies from a previous ‘marriage’
Then they adopted some
And then they ‘made’ at least one in Dorothy

The typical assumption is any of the puppies with an American accent are Doug’s and any with a British accent are Delilah’s
Dylan being the one exception as he is confirmed to be Delilah’s. Not sure it’s ever spelled out why other than Disney just wanting either of the leads to not have a British accent for whatever reason

Honestly dono, would have always said it’s more proof of the theory that Dylan and Dolly were originally meant to be the parents
The only downside would be the >Dylan is a cuckold because there’s no such thing as a happy, loving couple
element that would inevitably develop
but in absence of that, I don’t know. Horny animators?
In the original 15 of the puppies are Pongo and Perdita's while 84 are adopted.
In Dalmatian Street 18 of the puppies are main or secondary characters while the rest are background characters, so it's reasonable to think that the Main 18 are the biokids of the marriage, it being turned into a Brady Bunch situation where half the MCs are from one marriage and half from another is weird and I don't really get the point. It's already a huge blended family you don't have to go even further.
I seem to recall Delgado has a bit of a Hispanic accent so the going theory is he’s adopted from Mexico
But I guess they figured the original movie feature adoption, so why not here? I know dogs have litters so maybe it wouldn’t be that hard but how easily could one b***h have 50 over the course of her life? Doug could father 50 in one wild weekend but Delilah would take multiple births unless she was putting out ~10 every time. Given that Dylan is noticeably older than the rest (aside from Dolly who is Doug’s) and Dorothy is the only infant, that’s two births of just 1
Unless you’d say well most of them are Doug’s but that’d raise an eyebrow from the >man this guy is just going through women (dogs)
The mom is usually the cool and collected voice of reason but I dono, usually she’s also typically the affectionate, approachable one to the kids
I’m the intro, she’s wary/intimidated by the incoming dogpile while Doug embraces it. Maybe it’s because going in for a tackle hug (because they’re dogs) would be weird for a mom but not for a dad especially when Doug is the one built like a tank. But it’s not like that’s the only instance. She just comes across as a little more distant compared to Doug to me
Always liked this guy’s art

The only other dog threads I post in are the general Dog Threads when they happen. I have nothing against Paw Patrol and though the movie was decent but have no real interest in it.
No. They're very proud about being "real dogs" and not pets. Apparently, the house is owned by an eccentric old lady named after the original author, dodie Smith, who live on some island.
I never understand the claim that they hate humans as a result of this fact. The first episode features them ‘adopting’ a human and they all (except maybe Dylan) cozy up to him when he’s asleep. It’s not like they go around dicking around with the humans out of spite, they (or at least the older, more responsible among them) are just wary of them. Even then Doug and Delilah help them out at their ‘work’ most every day
And they have every reason to be wary. Their family’s arch nemesis is a human who wants to skin them (likely alive if she can manage it at this point) and make a jacket out of them. The wrong human knowing about their situation would most likely lead to them all being split up and most if not all of them with their balls cut off or wombs cut out.
It’s the universe in which they operate >what if dogs/to a certain extent animals were actually the ones running society and humans just thought they were
There’s no way they don’t come off as at bare minimum patronizing to humans in that scenario because like in the real world where humans run the show, we’re patronizing to dogs
They treat us basically like pets who think we're the ones in charge.

They had a conversation with one. And they sure don’t think Cruella is just a dumb animal. They just think most humans are a little silly
It’s the universe in which they operate >what if dogs/to a certain extent animals were actually the ones running society and humans just thought they were
There’s no way they don’t come off as at bare minimum patronizing to humans in that scenario because like in the real world where humans run the show, we’re patronizing to dogs
The interesting thing is that it's not really consistent. The episode "my fair dolly" seems to imply that they know that humans see them as dumb pets and they ressent them for it. Maybe the power dynamic between dogs and humans isn't as black and white as it appears.
As I think about it, have all the dogs even met the owner? Presumably Doug and Delilah have
Hell the more I think about it, how did they even meet? I don’t remember if it was fan assumption or the story but I thought it was that Doug and Delilah met in America but moved to the UK at some point. Was the owner around for that? Does she ever come around? Do they ever miss her?
We don't know why, and also we don't know if he brought the puppies with him, as it's not in the show.
At the end of the day I don't really care, as not every show needs some kind of deep lore.

I guess it is not explicitly stated but it’s pretty easy to assume he brought the ones who do not have a British/European accent. He is from the US and Dolly is his at minimum.

They never mention the owner or how Doug and Delilah met ever in the series. I think the owner story was mentioned by a creator or something externally. Never heard that story of how Doug and Delilah met, or any story of how they did actually.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t become aware of this show from anthro art on e6 but I’m not into feral and the characters and show are charming enough for a watch. I don’t really watch things with a hyper critical eye so as long as the characters aren’t obnoxious, or the writer heavy handed on their morals, I can usually enjoy most things
It's cute and comfy. All the dalmatian characters are lovable and you can feel that they form one big, happy mess of a family. This show just make me feel warm inside. also, Dylan and Dolly are cute together
I remember he had a cat but as I think back, did Cuddles ever talk in the show? I know Deepak hung out with a cat next door who had some speaking lines but I don’t seem to remember the Dalmatians ever communicating with Hunter’s cat. Hell I know they communicated with Hunter himself after he got locked in a storage container and had to eat dog food to survive but his cat isn’t ringing a bell
Maybe he got to into being a pet and just gave up talking.
He doesn’t reform like Hunter does, right?
It makes sense from a showrunner perspective. He’s more threatening that way. As for in-show reason, he could just be a bad cat. He knows what Cruella is up to but just doesn’t care so why talk to his target? Still, I don’t recall the Dalmatians really trying to talk to him. No >did he not hear me? Why doesn’t he respond?
Unless I am forgetting
As I think of it, for me at least, Dolly’s voice is Dolly’s voice and not Amethyst’s at this point
If I happened to watch an episode of SU on tv, I’d be more likely to think >oh right, Dolly’s voice actress voiced Amethyst
than the reverse phenomenon. But then I’ve seen the whole 101DS show and only maybe 10-15 episodes of SU so maybe that would of course be the case

So how the frick does Poodlewolf work, anyway? It's clearly a board game with set characters but they treat it like a tabletop game with custom characters. It's very strange.
Forgetting the particulars of how it was presented in the show but I know there are a lot of tabletop-lite games out there. Ones that sort of bridge the gap for a group that’s new to the tabletop RPG genre by having a preset story and preset characters to play so maybe this is something like that
Never mind the fact that Dylan strikes me nerdy enough to go for the full blown tabletop RPG experience but hey maybe that’s all the experience the writers had
It's just a pre-made tabletop campaign that also has premade characters. Or they got so into it they keep their character for every campaign and had custom figures made of them.
Dark Dungeons is a Chick tract (a sort of short comic written by Jack T. Chick) from the 80s, that shows how Dungeons and Dragons makes you a devil worshiper. among other things, a player kills herself after her character dies in the game

Dylan is always played up as a dweeb but he does have bravery. At least when it counts. As much as he gets clowned on, he usually gets the laugh so to speak
Maybe half the episode. I kinda wish dolly had her heroic moments too. Dylan does all of the heavy lifting around the house while dolly just goof around with the pups. The show tell us that they're equals in taking care of the pups but show us the complete opposite. The fact that Dylan's generally the butt of the joke also make him appear like a martyr. I wish the show made dylan and dolly more balanced.
>The show tell us that they're equals in taking care of the pups
It really doesn't. It makes it pretty clear that most of the time Dylan is the responsible one and Dolly is the goof off.

They're still supposed to be the two top dogs of the house but dolly isn't much of a caretaker. The show could have made dylan in charge of their safety, their meals, their hygiene while dolly take care of their general happiness. Playing with them, cheering them up etc. A sort of Ying and yang dymanic. Instead, we're shown that Dylan is perfectly capable of taking care both of their physical and emotional well-being. Adding to that, Dolly could have used her athletic abilities for her siblings's sake, instead dylan is the only one to risk his safety for his family. I love dylan, but I can't help but feel that the writers were a little bit too biased towards him and inadvertently made dolly useless by giving dylan all the moments to shine. It kind of pain me because the chemistry of these two was my favorite thing about the show. And I wish they had a more balanced dynamic.
Autistic rant over

If anything, I think the writers might have been biased toward Dolly and expected viewers to think she was cool and fun while Dylan was a boring nerd, even if he is often right. Dylan gets shat on so much that it gets a little sad sometimes.

I dunno. Sometimes I feel like the writers doesn't care much for dolly as a character, or at least they don't think she need to be held to the same standards as dylan. Dylan always has to prove himself, Dylan always has to be the hero, Dylan always has to fix his mistakes and those of others. In comparison, Dolly is more easily forgiven and isn't expected to do nearly as much for her family. And honestly, it come off as a little sexist on both side.
>The show tell us that they're equals in taking care of the pups
It really doesn't. It makes it pretty clear that most of the time Dylan is the responsible one and Dolly is the goof off.
Dolly is much more carefree than Dylan but usually knows when to get serious anytime there’s an actual danger (like Cruella).
She fulfills the same role as Eddy in Ed, Edd, and Eddy ie she’s usually the one who drives the plot with her antics
>I wish the show made dylan and dolly more balanced.
Agreed
I seem to recall some episode (I believe it was a snow day episode) where Dorothy ended up lost and imperiled. Dylan/Dolly had a neat dynamic where Dylan found Dorothy, Dolly saved Dorothy. Both using their strengths together to make it happen. I wish the show did it a little more
It's crazy how many times Dylan has been gaslit or otherwise mindbroken.
>Tricked into believing in a fake alien invasion >Misled into believing his Fetch robot was starting a robot rebellion >Tricked into believing his Cerberus skull was haunted >Mindbroken by Dolly fricking with his VR headset >Tricked into believing he was being hunted by a troll >Mindbroken when his Poodlewolf character is permakilled >Consumed with paranoia after Hunter besieges their house
Pros >Cute dog designs >Pretty much every Dalmatian is lovable >Fun concept with dogs living on their own in a house with no human owner >Good character chemistry >Best Cruella since the original movie
Cons >Writing isn't bad but it's not great either >Dolly bullies Dylan too much >Show ends too soon and leaves unanswered questions about the setting >Some Dalmatians never get a chance to have their own episode >Big Fee
Semi-cons
Fun concept
Likable characters
Good intro & ending
Really good villains (which get underutilized) I am not talking about the dogshit corgi or the dogshit cat
Cons
The good villains; Cruella and her nephew only appear for like 3-4 episodes near the end after pretending they're a big part of the show when they're not.
An action show and a good slice of life show like Dan Vs and Mao Mao are superior to this show's writing.
Intro shows Dylan running all over the london, but in reality most of the action happens inside the house.
The main characters only Dylan & Dolly with a bunch of non-dalmatian secondaries and secondaries that get little screentime or that 1 fricking secondary that gets too much focus (Diesel) over Delgado.
Dolly is a b***h. Dolly is a b***h wasting time with a Corgi.
That Husky is fricking gay.
The dalmatians aren't specist enough against foxes, pretendelite and rednecks.
A proper adventure action show is superior to a comedy action show which is also superior to this show.
Pros >Good clear personalities for a surprising number of the huge cast >They have fun visually and do different styles >Episode concepts are often quite smart >Visually pretty cute and clear >Lots of background gags
Cons >Pace is just too fast and wacky. It's easy to disengage when it's full-on all the time >No room for any sincere emotion >Dolly is pretty annoying (sorry) >Lots of facial expressions are ugly / irritating >Parent characters aren't very likeable
Yeah the show has plenty of sincere emotion, it just doesn't dwell on it or make it the focus. It's not like Bluey (just using as it's another kids dog show) where it will spend the whole episode on a single emotional plot.
I know that bluey is the "peak" of kids cartoons and all but that doesn't mean every cartoons need to follow the same formula. 101 ds work well as a wacky slice of life with a bit of action and there's no shortage of heartwarming moment that give the show just enough substance without feeling forced. The show might not be very deep but it's still plenty sincere.
On a side note, I do agree that dolly can be annoying. I tend to skip episodes like "perfect match" and "ride along" because she's quite unlikable in the former, and in the latter she get grating fast. But she still has her moments such as pic related that makes me like her.
I didn't mean to imply that the show should be like Bluey, just used as an example since the other anon sounded like he wanted episodes like that. Dalmatian Street is perfectly good as it is.
He's not comedically dumb or anything but he does some fairly dumb stuff. Like comes home with a ticket for a spa day for Delilah and Dolly, sees they're fighting and instead of letting them sort things out or sitting them down for an adult conversation starts guilt-tripping them both individually about how important his gift is
I'm sure there are better examples, that's just off the top of my head
watched the first episode (or the first two half-episodes, not sure how its generally said with 11-minute shows like this). pretty good, I'm surprised just at how stylized it sometimes gets
when they search for whatshername before boom day. with colors being black and white silhouettes at some point, and crowds of people being depicted as non moving simplified shapes. of course the latter is done partially for ease of animation.
also I've now watched E2. quite fun, Diesel is cute. And I like Dolly's voice a lot. Like half way between Rainbow Dash and Sisu the dragoness, I love those scratchy voices
This scene will never cease to amaze me because I can't believe that they wrote a character cheekily asking his sister for "a sneaky swim just us" and thought "yep, that's totally how normal siblings interact."
In fairness, if you have 97 other siblings that you do a lion’s share of caring for, when the opportunity arises to keep something to yourself or at least with just the one you have the biggest bond/the one who you don’t need to worry about their safety, you’d probably take it
That said, it sure does come across with the same energy as >let’s not tell the kids about this yet
Yeah I assumed the plan would be never let every puppy out at the exact same time or at least not in the exact same place but they do that here and there so it’d probably fall under the idea that everyone is sorta like Mr Fuzzy and not really paying attention/really that observant
I haven't seen the whole show yet, so stop me if this already happened in an episode:
One trope I really, really like in a lot of shows is when you have a character that's usually nice, caring and smart but also viewed as a pushover and a weakling that's constantly bullied and/or teased constantly by the other characters in most episodes. And a bit further into the show's run there's that one episode where the teasing crosses a line that hits deeper than anything else, and the character in question gives up being nice and instead becomes incredibly spiteful and thirsting for revenge. So you get to see what they can be like if they decide not to be kind and caring anymore. Sort of a one-episode breaking bad plot if you will. And they're almost always the most satisfying thing in the world. The more established and played the usual status quo is, the better.
I want an episode where this happens to Dylan. With Dolly constantly making fun of him it wouldn't be out of question that she'd eventually cross a line that goes way too far.
At first I thought it was weird how Fergus casually hangs around humans without fear when I've never seen one up close despite knowing they live in my area, but apparently over in London foxes just don't give a frick and will go right into people's yards and houses if you let them.
You could say they are both annoying subjective but they are in different ways and thats because of the differences in their character. The other anon was more on the money.
Show should have let a bunch of episodes without Dolly & Dylan. In that regard Kitty Is Not a Cat is way better. Dalmatian Street falls in the same pitfall The Loud House fell in by making just 1-2 main characters instead of the whole family all at once or in pairs or triples.
To be fair, they only got one season before they were canceled. The Da Vinci episode was really good and if they'd gotten more seasons I bet they probably would have done episodes like that for some of the other puppies.
Character focus episodes are the most generic way cartoons do it which isn't good... and often times they're not even the main characters of their own episodes, they're just the macguffin/trigger before the main characters take over again.
Horse show handled its character balance really well, at least for the first season.
It's too bad Delgado never got an episode.
Instead FRICKING Diesel got something like 10+ episodes.
This show was the last time Disney had any intention of giving viewers something they MIGHT like. From the on, it's all kiddy crap on streaming, remakes nobody asked for, and the vanity projects of people that nobody relates to. Turning Red was an aberration that only saw mild success due to the novelty of changing into an animal. Now they're reluctantly giving us a Zootopia sequel because all their passion projects had the enthusiasm of a thousand kids freebasing sugar...and ended up being crap nobody liked except for the weirdos overseeing the projects. They reluctantly acknowledge that project directors are not the target audience. Now what happens is film failures need to be laid at the feet of the writers and directors, and they need to have the real threat of firing and blackballing.
I can't remember ever seeing a Dalmatian thread hit the bump limit. Feels pretty good
I’m not always on Cinemaphile so maybe we’ve had better since then but it’s probably the best 101 thread I’ve been in since the show stopped airing 3 years ago.
Yeah, I watched it with Cinemaphiletrash/ when it aired. Might go back through and watch it again considering someone was kind enough to get the episodes together and put them in a mega
The first movie is an absolute classic that everyone should watch. The second animated movie is decent, but it's not as special. The live action movies are mostly not terrible, even including Cruella.
Somehow 101 Dalmatians is the only Disney property where even with a TV show, a direct to DVD sequel, and multiple live action remakes they still never made something that's unwatchable. It's like a miracle
Disney doesn’t really capitalize on the property. I don’t think it’s represented at all at the parks. I’d say it’s odd but it’s not really that unusual for Disney. They go hard with some properties and not at all with others. I guess I should just be happy they made a new show at all
I wonder what they’ll do with it in another decade or two
I saw her at the Ooogie Boogie Halloween at California Adventure and she was pretty great. Very into actor and as insulting as you can be while still being Disney.
Yeah it's in a weird spot where it's not modern enough to justify replacing a classic, and not quite classic enough to have earned a spot in the park. A part of me wouldn't mind seeing a chase/escape ride in the vein of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but I wouldn't want Toad replaced either.
I am a Cabsgay and at least you can get some Cabs merch at Epcot. It's not a lot but it's better than nothing. I got a pretty nice fridge magnet and shot glass
Thank you everyone for participating in this 101 Dalmatian Street thread, it has been very comfy and nice. Let's have it for more Dalmatians in the future. See you next time.
Reminder that the /trash/ 101 thread is still alive and kicking. Drop by and say hi!

Odd choice to only have one of the triplets
I always mix up Dallas and Destiny but I’m pretty sure that’s not Deja Vu because I’m pretty sure she’s got the circle
It wasn't made by TVA nor by new execs in charge so it was DOA
It's zoomer beanmouth too
>Did they think it was too British for American audiences? Would kids really care that they don't know what Camden Town is?
I don't think this would be the reason, since Peppa Pig and Bluey are both popular in the US.
Disney is moronic then?
Most likely reason is it was originally produced in the UK for the UK Disney Channel, which no longer exists.
That's an amazingly simple answer for my lazy-brain-schizo-post.
Yes.
You can't force discussion by bumping from page 10 over and over
What's your excuse?
>scripts were written
Would be dope if we ever got to see em but this is Disney we’re talking about
The two main siblings were just too annoying and those teeth things they decided to do were super ugly
It didn't deserve to live no matter how horny the dogs made you
The two main siblings were the best part. How dare you.
Oops, posted a still image instead of the gif
I love how squishy they are
I like how dylan still smile, even as he get away.
it still amuses me that fangdangler was an animator on that show and you can really see it
So you can make porn and still make it in the industry?
Half the people in the industry have nsfw art accs on twitter
So that's about half the industry that needs to be put on a submarine to look for the Titanic
You mean the other half that doesn't do NSFW.
No, the half that does.
Makes sense
Yes, it does. So much sense that it needs to happen.
There was a huge controversy of most of the tmnt staff making fetish porn, zone-tan openly work on cartoons and IDW hired a nsfw artist.
At least we got one good season, that's better than many shows got.
How come this simple gif is so well made?
There's more of them where that come from
Post it all.
Ok
Holy mother of, not enough the original Dalmatian movie is this well animated.
IT'S SO LIVELY AND DETAILED.
Samegay. We've all seen them the other hundred times you've posted them
>Samegay
>Someone literally asked him to post all of them
>He said ok
Your deductive powers are absolutely astounding. You will grow up to be the next Sherlock Holmes.
Not samegay. These gifs deserve to be re-posted. Aren't we supposed to apreciate good animation?
god I wish I were that bowl
Primos was going to take its place, that's why.
This show made me wish I were a dog. Weird, right?
Nope. All perfectly normal.
I've never realized this until this moment. They used to tie bows around gift wrap because they didn't have tape.
Man, I'm dumb.
What’d you originally think the purpose was?
In the modern era, with tape, all of my bows like that are for decorative purposes and I had not thought about it further.
Post the face sitting gif ahah
>dylan and his two boyfriends
love wins!
There's probably more of them but that's the last one I got.
Do these dogs frick
Was the og style better?
I like them both for what they are. The OG movie is more grounded and serious, so the more realistic style works. Dalmatian Street is wackier and more cartoony so I like the exaggerated style for the pups.
The original is beautiful.
They are both distinct enough that preference is just a matter of taste.
Josh & Michaela are now busy working on Hailey & Molly. So tuff break.
>Josh & Michaela
Sorry, who?
Dylan & Dolly's VAs, idiot.
She cute.
Dolly a shit.
Dolly
A
Shit
Prepare for the future.
Grim.
someone give a mega pls
the real question is, when did she go from not anthro to anthro
The day we discovered how to make furry waifus real. We had no way to know that it would be our own demise.
At some point she had to admit opposable thumbs were an advantage to ruling an empire with an iron fist so she commissioned her scientists to figure out a way for her to have the best of both worlds
I love the whole cast, which is rare.
I watched the first episode and it was really boring, so I can understand why it was cancelled.
Nope.
Fun show
Fun discussing it with you guys at the time
>Fun discussing it with you guys at the time
Let's discuss it again.
There ain’t much left to discuss tho
We kept the threads going for a time after the final episode but ultimately with nothing new coming out, we eventually ran out of content
I’m no artgay or writegay and I’m not perceptive enough to hone in on the implications of little details added by the show runners so my only real contribution as far as
>new thread content
goes was posting screenshots taken at just the right moment to make some dumb or dirty joke.
>They are opposites who make a good duo, both bring something to the table that the other doesn’t and cover each others weaknesses when working together
>It makes it similar to the original movie where Pongo and Perdita are the protagonists
>The parents don’t need fake jobs when the house is already taken care of by their eccentric and absent owner and they aren’t paid anyway, as such it seems an awful lot like they do a good share of the parenting already given their parents aren’t around a lot
The only downside would be the
>Dylan is a cuckold because there’s no such thing as a happy, loving couple
element that would inevitably develop
I genuinely thought they were the parents when I first saw the intro.
I saw this shit randomly airing on TV and the first thing I see was Dolly being openly horny towards the Husky.
The show couldn’t be exactly identical, they’d need to change some things like Dolly being into Hansel or Dylan being into Portia
there's a scarily high amount of incest porn of these two
Not REAL incest
This. The good thing with step-siblings is that they don't need to have cursed babies.
wtf the dad married used goods?!?!
LOL
They both brought puppies from a previous ‘marriage’
Then they adopted some
And then they ‘made’ at least one in Dorothy
so the pups in this series aren't their biological children like in the movie?
You don't think that all 99 puppies are Pongo and Perdita's biological children do you?
Some of them are Delilah’s, some of them are Doug’s, some of them are neither parent’s, and at least one of them is/are both
The typical assumption is any of the puppies with an American accent are Doug’s and any with a British accent are Delilah’s
Dylan being the one exception as he is confirmed to be Delilah’s. Not sure it’s ever spelled out why other than Disney just wanting either of the leads to not have a British accent for whatever reason
Disney must become more British.
Not sure the British want that kind of association but surely it can’t get any worse
>Literally step-siblings
>0 What are you doing step-bro/sister? pics with them
>since we're not related it will be okay...
I_understood_that_reference.jpg
There's nothing wrong with siblings being affectionate.
This isn't just your average everyday sibling affection
This is ADVANCED sibling affection
They're gonna make puppies
Signs point to yes
How do these two have more incest energy than the Lannisters
Honestly dono, would have always said it’s more proof of the theory that Dylan and Dolly were originally meant to be the parents
but in absence of that, I don’t know. Horny animators?
>episode 16
Was a bad sign that they were already doing a filler recap episode
Given that Dylan is noticeably older than the rest (aside from Dolly who is Doug’s) and Dorothy is the only infant, that’s two births of just 1
Unless you’d say well most of them are Doug’s but that’d raise an eyebrow from the
>man this guy is just going through women (dogs)
Does Delilah seem a little cold for a mu?
I found it a little odd that they made Doug easily the more approachable of the two
Maybe it’s a British vs American parent kind of thing
That’s odd meant to do a memespoiler on the u of mum but instead it just got rid of the m at the end
It's a pretty common family sitcom trope; mom is the cool and collected voice of reason while dad is the good hearted but bumbling oaf.
Is it weird to want a talking dog to be your mom?
Nope. Some dogs are genuinely better than human "parents" anyhow.
She just comes across as a little more distant compared to Doug to me
>hey look there’s 101 posts in the threa-
D’oh
Next goal is 101 images then.
Post more of the mom then
You guys always make it weird when I do.
Seeing as I never join these threads I doubt I will.
Well in that case...
Always liked this guy’s art
Really nails the style of the show
She's a woman
Ok what bands?
I love this guy's Dalmatian art. Wish there was more of it in general but it's not a super popular show so I've seen pretty much all the good ones by now.
Just hope really hard.
Dylan remains the hottest character in the show
Dylan is a dumb nerd who should be bullied.
And bullying him is hot
>t. Dolly
>Dylan is a dumb nerd who should be bullied meh meh meh meh
t. every b***h in Camden Town
The Dimitri's are better than Dylan.
I like paint dog
and paint dog like you
Cool.
I like Davinci
I'm glad she got at least one episode
If the show does come back (a long shot, but still), I hope they get Kurikia as a storyboard artist
Literal sexo position
Now I cannot unsee, and you are completely right.
Dogs
Are you the same anons who post Paw Patrol threads?
Word on the street is that’s mostly women and this thread has classically had a large percentage of hornyposters so no
I for one lurk both threads. And watch neither show
Worst person.
I also ocasionally drawgay for the pawgays so I imagine theyd disagree with you. Its funny, I *think* all the drawgays from their threads admited to not really watching the show.
Fanart from those who don't watch the show will always be missing something. Not saying you must watch things when all you're doing is deliver commissions, but still......
Thats all fair, but I still see my stuff getting reposted now and then there so I figure its good "enough" despite missing something. Probably helps I generally try to make shit I consider funny.
Also commissions aint my thing, I was talking about drawing stuff on my own and dropping it unannounced. Or doing requests.
Yeah anon, your fascist Marshall and character.ai pics were funny
Draw some 101 pups
>Yeah anon, your fascist Marshall and character.ai pics were funny
Nta but I haven't seen them. Post them.
Since this isn't a PAW Patrol thread I'll just link them in the archive. I could also just be wrong and these could be drawn by different drawgays from the one I replied to, but my brain is very big and I think I have correctly deduced they were both indeed this dude
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1677/68/1677683350487.png
https://desu-usergeneratedcontent.xyz/co/image/1684/20/1684208336117.jpg
Right on the money. Both mine.
>Draw some 101 pups
If a funny idea comes or something amusing happens in the thread that would look funny drawn out, sure.
Alright, you've motivated me enough to give the first ep a full try at least. And I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this show is pure CUTE
Writing is about what one would expect from a kids show. But man, the animation and style is something nice to look at. And here I thought media corps had just given up on giving those any sort of effort by now.
No Cruella tho? I know theres been some gay ass attempt to redeem the literal puppy butcher but seems weird to not have her or some similar character in. Kind of like doing an Emperor's New Groove show but then not having Yzma.
Cruella is in the show and she is more psycho than she's ever been before
Neato, spoiler me, what episodes does she appear in?
The last two episodes of the season
Yeah she was pretty unhinged
I like what they did with her. Especially how she's so old that she's falling apart at the seams and is held together by that weird Botox spray and hate
I like the concept of her and how she relates to dog years. She went after Perdita and several generations later she's still terrifying that family, like some kind of legendary immortal monster.
She’s the threat that disappears for a generation and then comes back
Like Pennywise the Clown. It’s gotta be a real sinking feeling of dread to recognize she’s back and the day you’ve feared for so long is here
She's honestly barely even human. Just a shambling wreck of pure hate that sustains herself only out of spite and a need to eradicate this one family.
Now youre just overhyping me to see her be her old evil hag self in action. Swear to god if the show doesnt deliver it im gonna call Dolly a fricking bad dog
You won't be disappointed.
>the wall scratching, crackles and youth perfume
Damn she didn't disapoint. Now what does disapoint is a lack of a season 2.
The perfume was a good way to get around the fact they can't show her smoking in this day and age
OG Cruella just wanted her puppy coat. This one still wants her coat but also wants to make sure Pongo and Perdita's descendants suffer as much as possible in the process of getting it
She’s been denied her desire for years
It’s slowly driven her mad
Most of them have watched some but not all of it. Which is pretty normal for a 200+ episode show
Oh SpongeBob, dogs aren't e-girls. I'm sorry you still carry the trauma from what Chase did to you
The only other dog threads I post in are the general Dog Threads when they happen. I have nothing against Paw Patrol and though the movie was decent but have no real interest in it.
Never seen this show. Do they have a owner? Because I never seen a owner posted the few times I've looked at these threads.
No. They're very proud about being "real dogs" and not pets. Apparently, the house is owned by an eccentric old lady named after the original author, dodie Smith, who live on some island.
Then...why do they wear collars?
You can’t expect them to just walk around naked
Might be a
>if you’re traipsing around London without a collar, the human’s might pick you up thinking you’re a stray
kind of logic
They're stylish!
It make for more appealing and distinctive character designs.
Hate is a strong word but they definitely see humans as dumb pets like in the original movie
It’s the universe in which they operate
>what if dogs/to a certain extent animals were actually the ones running society and humans just thought they were
There’s no way they don’t come off as at bare minimum patronizing to humans in that scenario because like in the real world where humans run the show, we’re patronizing to dogs
Do they?
They treat us basically like pets who think we're the ones in charge.
Do they not consider humans sapient then?
They do, they just think they're off lesser intelligence.
Okay but if humans are so dumb who do they think built everything around them? Like doesn't the girl dog have a skateboard? Like who made that miss dog?
Humans made them for dogs to enjoy, obviously. Humans are dog jannies. They do it for free.
It’s just played for laughs
But the logic probably goes
>the humans do what we want them to. They’re ostensibly in charge but we pull the strings
But also her skateboard could have easily been put together by Dylan or Dawkins
I think they believe humans are sapient, just dumb. Most of the time the humans in this show are buried in their phones and have no situational awareness
They had a conversation with one. And they sure don’t think Cruella is just a dumb animal. They just think most humans are a little silly
The interesting thing is that it's not really consistent. The episode "my fair dolly" seems to imply that they know that humans see them as dumb pets and they ressent them for it. Maybe the power dynamic between dogs and humans isn't as black and white as it appears.
Ah yes, FTK-sama.
Delilah wouldn't have been in America a she is a direct descendant of Perdita.
Then maybe that was fan theory because as I recall that might have been a theory behind how Dylan didn’t develop a British accent
Still, how did Doug cross the Atlantic, bringing an untold number of puppies with him? I assume with the help of the owner, right?
We don't know why, and also we don't know if he brought the puppies with him, as it's not in the show.
At the end of the day I don't really care, as not every show needs some kind of deep lore.
I guess it is not explicitly stated but it’s pretty easy to assume he brought the ones who do not have a British/European accent. He is from the US and Dolly is his at minimum.
Might be over analysis for sure but what else have we got to do?
I don't care why Dylan doesn't have an accent. I love his voice too much.
He does a great job of sounding obviously nerdy without falling into too many of the typical nerd voice tropes.
I know his voice actor has been in other stuff too but I don't recall ever hearing this particular voice used in anything else so it's refreshing to hear something unique
>Look him up
>He was Mark Beaks in Ducktales
You know I wouldn't have guessed it was him but now that I know I can kind of hear it.
>pic
You know this isn’t an official thread until someone posts the webm
>doesn't have an accent
You mean why he does have a foreign accent. Considering where he lives and all
They never mention the owner or how Doug and Delilah met ever in the series. I think the owner story was mentioned by a creator or something externally. Never heard that story of how Doug and Delilah met, or any story of how they did actually.
Where did you get that info from?
The first point is mostly made in the episode My Fair Dolly
As for the latter, I don’t think it really comes up in show but I believe it was stated behind the scenes somewhere.
What's the attraction of this show? Is it the dogs? Are you attracted to the dogs?
>don't tell me you think the cute characters... ARE CUTE????!!!?!?!!!!1!!??/?????
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t become aware of this show from anthro art on e6 but I’m not into feral and the characters and show are charming enough for a watch. I don’t really watch things with a hyper critical eye so as long as the characters aren’t obnoxious, or the writer heavy handed on their morals, I can usually enjoy most things
It's cute and comfy. All the dalmatian characters are lovable and you can feel that they form one big, happy mess of a family. This show just make me feel warm inside.
also, Dylan and Dolly are cute together
Enjoy you filthy degenerates.
No, I'm not finishing it.
You may not finish, but I will
Who the hell is Cuddles?
Hunter's cat
Ah right
I remember he had a cat but as I think back, did Cuddles ever talk in the show? I know Deepak hung out with a cat next door who had some speaking lines but I don’t seem to remember the Dalmatians ever communicating with Hunter’s cat. Hell I know they communicated with Hunter himself after he got locked in a storage container and had to eat dog food to survive but his cat isn’t ringing a bell
Nah for some reason he never actually talked
Maybe he got to into being a pet and just gave up talking.
He doesn’t reform like Hunter does, right?
It makes sense from a showrunner perspective. He’s more threatening that way. As for in-show reason, he could just be a bad cat. He knows what Cruella is up to but just doesn’t care so why talk to his target? Still, I don’t recall the Dalmatians really trying to talk to him. No
>did he not hear me? Why doesn’t he respond?
Unless I am forgetting
Are there any torrents of this show floating around? No way Disney+ is going to keep it up forever.
I haven't seen one, but if someone finds a torrent or Mega (preferably with subs) I'm gonna make an assload of webms.
Exactly what I was thinking, but first I have to find it
I don't know how to add a subtitle track but I'm putting together a zip with the best quality I could find
Bless you, it's a start.
Could only find it in 720, sadly, but better than nothing
What do people use to make webms for Cinemaphile?
Webm for morons
Good shit. Thanks, anon
Remember to remove audio if you want to post on Cinemaphile
I think at least in the newest version, called Webm Converter, audio is disabled by default and you have to check a box to add it.
Works great
Pretty good.
I always love the little tail wags
Thing I never got about this picture is Dolly does have the fatter ass in it
I wanna make out with Dylan while we play Poodlewolf and grope his fat ass lovingly.
As I think of it, for me at least, Dolly’s voice is Dolly’s voice and not Amethyst’s at this point
If I happened to watch an episode of SU on tv, I’d be more likely to think
>oh right, Dolly’s voice actress voiced Amethyst
than the reverse phenomenon. But then I’ve seen the whole 101DS show and only maybe 10-15 episodes of SU so maybe that would of course be the case
>ywn be in a 99 puppy pile
Why even live
I normally don't like the meme, but imagine the smell.
Finally, it is done.

Anon actually delivers, good man.
Haven’t thanked someone for posting episodes of this show for a long time but thanks
What was done?
thank you!
Thanks a bunch Anon.
Imagine if Dolly tried to dance while absolutely full of water and with a wearable puppy pad strapped to her lower half
Imagine you touching grass.
Was going to later today, thanks for reminding me
:<
I hope you die.
>720p
is there no 1080p rips?
None that I could find, at least
There are Disney+ rips. With shitty compressed audio though.
Pick your poison, I guess. I don't know how to rip from Disney+ or fix the sound
There are, heres a 1080p torrent

Not a whole lot of seeders tho and its 9GB so enjoy the wait
Found in 2 minutes via 1337x
Already tried that one but a torrent with no seeds might as well not exist
>no seeds
Come again? Sure its a pathetic ratio, but theres a bit of seeding.
I've had it open for 2 days without a single kb of data downloaded
Until you waited for months for a torrent to download, you have no right to complain, b***h.
Frick that, these dalmatian threads are rare. I'm not waiting months to get a mega
And most of the people asking wanted them for webms, so they're going to get downsized anyway. It's good enough and people shouldn't b***h that someone put together something.
You don't understand, if Anon does not get good quality+free fast enough, he cries for his mommy.
Seriously, some people here are really quick to look a gift horse in the mouth
You'll have to wait a few more hours you whiny b***h, hope you can survive this.
Oh hey, I use that place too!
Didn't rargb die like a month ago
Yeah, it did.
Oh nice, glad to know someone made a better release, I was still stuck with the EDGE 720p one.
101 dalmatian street mega
(for eventual archive searchers)
Thanks Dolly. Have a treat.
>Treat? TREAT! TREAT! TREAT!
I love the whole "TRIGGER WORD!" gag.
>The I love my brother smile
Quick and dirty test.
My man
What do you use to add the subtitles?
I literally just googled "101 Dalmatian Street subtitles" and the first link was a zip with SRT subtitle files.
Oh shit, well that's convenient
How come the 101 Cinemaphile thread is pretty active and still alive while the /trash/ 101 thread is barely surviving with just 30 posts?
Because we don't want to lewd the dogs.
Didn't even know there was a /trash/ thread. I check occasionally but it had been ages since I last saw one. But Cinemaphile is always more active anyway
Oh I didn’t know there was one
That said, I was usually only on /trash/ because we were banished from Cinemaphile

So how the frick does Poodlewolf work, anyway? It's clearly a board game with set characters but they treat it like a tabletop game with custom characters. It's very strange.
It works like how someone who's only heard of a tabletop game imagines it would
Forgetting the particulars of how it was presented in the show but I know there are a lot of tabletop-lite games out there.
Look up Gloomhaven.
Huh, that does explain it a little bit. I doubt the writers were aware but at least it makes some sense now
I wish I was good at photoshop so I could do a Poodlewolf version of the Dark Dungeons suicide note
>the Dark Dungeons suicide note
wat?
Dark Dungeons is a Chick tract (a sort of short comic written by Jack T. Chick) from the 80s, that shows how Dungeons and Dragons makes you a devil worshiper. among other things, a player kills herself after her character dies in the game
it's often parodied because it's so ridiculous
I don’t think editing the words would be that difficult, especially if the font could be determined but I can’t help thinking to do a truly good job, one would need to make the hand a paw in the same style which would obviously be tougher
You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

So, there's this Dawkins x da Vinci fanfic. My friend is looking for the Nsfw part two that got deleted. Anyone from /trash/ know where to find it?
Why not ask the /trash/ thread?
Just did it
He was really ready to gut that "monster".
Dylan is always played up as a dweeb but he does have bravery. At least when it counts. As much as he gets clowned on, he usually gets the laugh so to speak
The fact that he's so fearful make him all the more brave. Even his sister agree.
How many times has Dylan put himself in harm's way, or at least what he perceives as harm's way, to save his siblings? Because it feels like a lot.
I wish the show did it a little more
Dylan is a tryhard who really cares and that why we love him
I try to like Dolly but sometimes she's a real c**t
You mean a real bitch
>Dolly_catches_Dylan_cheating_on_her_with_some_Rottweiller.webm
No one likes a Rottweiller.
But Rottweilers sure like Dalmatians
It's crazy how many times Dylan has been gaslit or otherwise mindbroken.
>Tricked into believing in a fake alien invasion
>Misled into believing his Fetch robot was starting a robot rebellion
>Tricked into believing his Cerberus skull was haunted
>Mindbroken by Dolly fricking with his VR headset
>Tricked into believing he was being hunted by a troll
>Mindbroken when his Poodlewolf character is permakilled
>Consumed with paranoia after Hunter besieges their house
Can this poor fricking guy get a break?
For as often as Dolly creates the problem, I seem to recall only once does she not get some sort of comeuppance
What were the pros and cons of this show?
Were Hotel Trasylvania, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Mr Peabody & Sherman simply superior to it?
Pros
>Cute dog designs
>Pretty much every Dalmatian is lovable
>Fun concept with dogs living on their own in a house with no human owner
>Good character chemistry
>Best Cruella since the original movie
Cons
>Writing isn't bad but it's not great either
>Dolly bullies Dylan too much
>Show ends too soon and leaves unanswered questions about the setting
>Some Dalmatians never get a chance to have their own episode
>Big Fee
Big fee?
The fat b***h rat character who eats trash, farts, and scams people who show her kindness
Semi-cons
>I don't like it because it's not these other shows
Ok
The hell is a semi-con?
He's trying to imply that there's nothing good about the show. There's only bad things and less bad things.
Yeah but anyone reads something like “likable characters” under “semi-con” and would think
>how is having likable characters kind of a bad thing?
I didn't say it made sense, I was just explaining what the moron posted.
Surprised to see the intro in the ... good list
One of my least favorite things about it. Skip every time
You have no soul.
It's really bad tho
It's not good enough for me to watch it every time but I think it's charming
Pros
>Good clear personalities for a surprising number of the huge cast
>They have fun visually and do different styles
>Episode concepts are often quite smart
>Visually pretty cute and clear
>Lots of background gags
Cons
>Pace is just too fast and wacky. It's easy to disengage when it's full-on all the time
>No room for any sincere emotion
>Dolly is pretty annoying (sorry)
>Lots of facial expressions are ugly / irritating
>Parent characters aren't very likeable
I disagree with all the cons but most of it is just a matter of preference. However
>no room for any sincere emotions
Is objectively untrue.
>I know that bluey is the "peak" of kids cartoons and all
wat
It's the popular hot thing at the moment.
Bluey is the best written and most mature kids show currently airing. Easily comparable, if not superior, to so called "adult" shows
Nah I've watched it all and it has maybe 3 good episodes, one of which has zero dialogue
Hilda is leagues better
I can maybe somewhat understand not liking Delilah if I squint, but how can you not like Doug?
nta but I find the big dumb softie character type pretty annoying. He's not as bad as Gumball's dad or anything but it's the same ballpark
I agree. Doug isn't a bad character but he's also just kind of there without much real personality.
Is he really that dumb, though? He's a little bit of a goofball but I don't remember him ever being dumb
Tell me a reason to watch a show whose only selling points are dalmatians and nothing else
God I wish that were me.
Get constipated for a few days then poop and I guarantee you that will be you
How did this nerd get so jacked?
Carrying all that parental responsibility
Yeah they kind of gloss over how fricked it is that the kids have to raise the other kids because there are so fricking many.
Again this is why I like them better as the parents: they basically already do the job anyway.
Never mind
>I dono, something about his nose
What is going on with his legs? Is she wrapping her arms around his crotch?
A little below it but yeah it looks like she’s her arms are running between his back legs
Seriously, she has no concept of personal space
Women like Dolly have issues, and you cannot fix them.
I could fix her. But I don't want to.
Finally done with the mega

Yoo da reel emveepee
They actually named all 101 of those little frickers. Imagine what could have been
It's pretty easy to just go through a book of names and take all the Ds.
>Deuce
>it's real
>we named all the dogs with D because they are Dalmatians
why? the original movie didn't have that rule and the previous show either
Because it's funny.
Easier to remember. The movie and old show had about 7 or 8 Dalmatians who actually got names. 101DS has 20 Dalmatians who are named on screen.
It's something people with too many kids do to keep the names straight.
Tanning her cookie
Let's make our own 101 cartoon
>Cinemaphile makes a dalmatians cartoon
>every ep has at least one joke about rockets or chinese cookies
I always found it downright precious how instead of using real dog barks like in the movie they just have the voice actors make dog noises instead
watched the first episode (or the first two half-episodes, not sure how its generally said with 11-minute shows like this). pretty good, I'm surprised just at how stylized it sometimes gets
Got an example?
when they search for whatshername before boom day. with colors being black and white silhouettes at some point, and crowds of people being depicted as non moving simplified shapes. of course the latter is done partially for ease of animation.
also I've now watched E2. quite fun, Diesel is cute. And I like Dolly's voice a lot. Like half way between Rainbow Dash and Sisu the dragoness, I love those scratchy voices
Her VA and Sisu's VA are both Asian too. Just thought that was a weird coincidence.
This webm is a good example of Dylan’s typical day
Just missing the Poodlewolf session
Squishable
>Prelude to Oral; a play in 3 acts
This scene will never cease to amaze me because I can't believe that they wrote a character cheekily asking his sister for "a sneaky swim just us" and thought "yep, that's totally how normal siblings interact."
In the nude, even
In fairness, if you have 97 other siblings that you do a lion’s share of caring for, when the opportunity arises to keep something to yourself or at least with just the one you have the biggest bond/the one who you don’t need to worry about their safety, you’d probably take it
That said, it sure does come across with the same energy as
>let’s not tell the kids about this yet
so when is someone going to use ai voices to make their own 101 dalmatian street episodes
The people of Camden sure have gotten desensitized to the sight of 99 Dalmatian puppies running around the public park
I wonder how all the "Asians" feel about that.
Not exactly breaking bad but the one who gets pushed past the limit is actually Dawkins
Chop chop!

Bro can't even watch a cat video without sneezing
I will never forgive Crimson Mayhem for shilling SJW shit like Turning Red or The Owl House over actually good content like 101DS or Kulipari.
Who?
At first I thought it was weird how Fergus casually hangs around humans without fear when I've never seen one up close despite knowing they live in my area, but apparently over in London foxes just don't give a frick and will go right into people's yards and houses if you let them.
Madra rua be bold.
Same energy.
No. Also you just want to frick that b***h
Rerember covid?
we now have 101 images
Surely dogs cannot get Covid
Nice art, you draw it?
Do people who like dolly also like the pink horse in that small horse show?
I get the same vibes and both annoy me
Dolly struck me as being closer to Blue Horse, honestly
Dolly is always warping around and appearing from the top of the screen upside-down etc. She isn't overly sporty either, and she causes lots of chaos
Could you be more specific about how it's very wrong?
You could say they are both annoying subjective but they are in different ways and thats because of the differences in their character. The other anon was more on the money.
Nah I'm with the anon. Dolly SOUNDS a lot more like blue horse but acts a lot more like pink horse
That said I think Dolly is WAY less obnoxious than pink horse
I agree with other anon
Dolly is competitive and teases Dylan constantly
Teasing/being a bit of a bully is nowhere in Pink’s character, unlike Blue’s
I'm not saying they're identical. I'm saying they have very similar vibes. I still don't think I'm particularly wrong about it
>being this wrong.
i like both
Dags
Don't you dare compare 101 ds to the loud house ever again.
Disney will never allow a show without a quirky brown girl protagonist nowadays.
Got that in 720p, chief? I don't have a paid mega account
I love how dotting dylan is with his younger siblings. Especially dorothy. It's so cute.
I wish I had brothers and sisters to play with 🙁
I would love to slowly effeminate this nerd until he’s comfortable wearing dresses

Hey babe…
WHEN THE SWEATSHIRT SUS HAHAHAHA
This is the comfiest Dalmatian thread we've had in some time, and we already don't get these threads very often
Sure makes you appreciate it when it do happen
I’m not always on Cinemaphile so maybe we’ve had better since then but it’s probably the best 101 thread I’ve been in since the show stopped airing 3 years ago.
Getting not one but two megas for the show is just the icing on the cake
Yeah, I watched it with Cinemaphiletrash/ when it aired. Might go back through and watch it again considering someone was kind enough to get the episodes together and put them in a mega
Would Disney be better off without the bobs?
cartoon dogs > real dogs
I like both.
I've never actually seen the original movie(s?), but the show is fun
The first movie is an absolute classic that everyone should watch. The second animated movie is decent, but it's not as special. The live action movies are mostly not terrible, even including Cruella.
Somehow 101 Dalmatians is the only Disney property where even with a TV show, a direct to DVD sequel, and multiple live action remakes they still never made something that's unwatchable. It's like a miracle
The PS1 video game is excellent too. Ths franchise just never takes the L
Guys don't jinx it
>Here’s a exclusive sneak preview at the new 101 Dalmatians movie coming Summer 2024!
If we can survive two live action movies and Cruella, I think we're safe.
I wish there was more merch. Been through both Disney parks in the last couple years and only found a few pins, and nothing for Street.
at least the toys are pretty good
Disney doesn’t really capitalize on the property. I don’t think it’s represented at all at the parks. I’d say it’s odd but it’s not really that unusual for Disney. They go hard with some properties and not at all with others. I guess I should just be happy they made a new show at all
I wonder what they’ll do with it in another decade or two
I think they have a Cruella performer for things like Halloween events and villain nights but that's it
I saw her at the Ooogie Boogie Halloween at California Adventure and she was pretty great.
101DS got almost no merch outside of the toys, it sucks. Disney really did this show dirty
we don't talk about football head dolly
Looks accurate to me, and I want it.
Honestly I've seen much worse
It looks pretty cute. Could be better sure but it could also be a whole lot worse
>outside of
Try being a Cabsgay, the most merch is the back advertisement of one French comic issue
I am a Cabsgay and at least you can get some Cabs merch at Epcot. It's not a lot but it's better than nothing. I got a pretty nice fridge magnet and shot glass
I vant to suck your bone!

I can't remember ever seeing a Dalmatian thread hit the bump limit. Feels pretty good
Thank you everyone for participating in this 101 Dalmatian Street thread, it has been very comfy and nice. Let's have it for more Dalmatians in the future. See you next time.
