The economy actually keeps getting better. The problem is social media and division making people miserable.

You can't say the most economy is doing good when a bag of potato chips costs $7

          Anonymous

It's fine anon. The rampant inflation is fine as long as wages also keep pace with rising prices.
You did get a 30% raise since the pandemic, right anon?

Is this like an extra large bag of premium potato chips or something? Also, it's ridiculous to suggest that the availability of jobs isn't a factor in people's ability to buy even very large bags of premium potato chips or go to the movies. An economy is a complex interconnected thing. So there's even some truth to that "where we go one we go all" thing. It's just in this case, we're going to the movies.

I'm happy it hit a billion, proof that things are heading in the right direction and the theater model is still viable. Ultimately good for Saw and other movies. The point is you belong over there with Simu Liu and that one Barbie with the large hands and gruff voice.

Is the standard now that you have to be rich to go see Jigsaw's new movies in theaters? I swear I think half of you guys are just afraid of Jigsaw.

I haven't been to the movie theater in like 5 years, I might go see this one.
What are the chances it'll be ruined by leftist shit? I don't even want to hear a single line of propaganda, please god...

I wouldn't be surprised if Jigsaw has some relevant class and system-based criticisms to make. But he doesn't really go at the nu cultural angles.

Idk why the new movie takes place between 1 and 2. They should've just ignored everything after 1 and have a miniseries that Is a sequel.

      Anonymous

They are the masters of rewriting continuity with off the wall twists. 1 and 2 are probably the movies most people have seen and it opens the door for some crazy retcons. With theaters now fully opened and movies like Barbie and Oppenheimer doing well and optimism about the economy generally increasing, this could be a record bow for Jigsaw.
