That Na'vi has a nice rack on her though.

Seriously though, Na'vi are forbidden to use anything with metal. Some kind of law they have.

how would a na'vi even know what metal was? Did Eywa describe the detailed material properties of metals?

          Anonymous

The Na'vi would definitely have found Unobtainium by then since it's all over. I'd be surprised if the next movie didn't show them having Uobtainium tools. But maybe Eywa tells them not to since it's obviously something that helps the planetary network function

It could help kill animals easier, armor, israeliteelry, tools, maybe they can use it for interesting floating devices. Any of the uses for a normal metal really, people have always been after making day to day life easier and more interesting

James Cameron Likens Avatar Sequel Saga To Lord Of The Rings: ‘I Had To Create The Frickin’ Novels To Adapt’
    https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/james-cameron-likens-avatar-sequel-saga-to-lord-of-the-rings-exclusive/

      Anonymous

      >Speaking to Empire in the upcoming, world-exclusive Avatar: The Way Of Water issue, the filmmaker opened up about the plans he’s been cooking up for over a decade now. “What I said to the Fox regime at the time was, ‘I’ll do it, but we’ve got to play a larger game here. I don’t want to just do a movie and do a movie and do a movie. I want to tell a bigger story’,” he explains. That meant a comparison with a certain literary saga. “I said, ‘Imagine a series of novels like The Lord Of The Rings existed, and we’re adapting them.’ Now, that was great in theory, but then I had to go create the frickin’ novels from which to adapt it.”
Oh no no no bros, I think the people who doubted him are about to get BTFO once again

He's about to tell four movies worth of story over the next decade. I have no idea what he could possibly have in story, but I trust in Cameron. It actually makes me excited to go to the cinema for the first time in a long while.

      Is 1 technically a prime?

It's not considered prime because otherwise otherwise every prime factorization would include a 1^infinity term, which mathematicians don't want to deal with.

Thoughts on Siggy playing a teenaged Na'vi?

        >Thoughts on Siggy playing a teenaged Na'vi?
If it's a reincarnation, that's cool. Perhaps the movie is about her either realizing it or coming to terms with that.

Or it could be that Cameron just wanted to direct Weaver again lol.

Imagine someone not trusting Cameron at this point. Even if you don't like his movies, you can't deny their success.

As long as he's allowed to do what he wants, the movie will be kino.

I don't get it though, the woman on the right is Grace but it's a different actress.

Is that a placeholder and will eventually be replaced with a CGI de-aged Weaver?

Kiri is watching footage of herself from her previous human life.

          That's the theory yes.
But that's not Sigourney Weaver on the right. So my question was is it a placeholder for some future de-aged Grace or what?

you're uncanny valleying them because they're lit by torchlight, a very different lighting scheme than most of the rest of the CGI in the movie.
