The Na'vi would definitely have found Unobtainium by then since it's all over. I'd be surprised if the next movie didn't show them having Uobtainium tools. But maybe Eywa tells them not to since it's obviously something that helps the planetary network function
It could help kill animals easier, armor, israeliteelry, tools, maybe they can use it for interesting floating devices. Any of the uses for a normal metal really, people have always been after making day to day life easier and more interesting
James Cameron Likens Avatar Sequel Saga To Lord Of The Rings: ‘I Had To Create The Frickin’ Novels To Adapt’
https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/james-cameron-likens-avatar-sequel-saga-to-lord-of-the-rings-exclusive/
>Speaking to Empire in the upcoming, world-exclusive Avatar: The Way Of Water issue, the filmmaker opened up about the plans he’s been cooking up for over a decade now. “What I said to the Fox regime at the time was, ‘I’ll do it, but we’ve got to play a larger game here. I don’t want to just do a movie and do a movie and do a movie. I want to tell a bigger story’,” he explains. That meant a comparison with a certain literary saga. “I said, ‘Imagine a series of novels like The Lord Of The Rings existed, and we’re adapting them.’ Now, that was great in theory, but then I had to go create the frickin’ novels from which to adapt it.”
Oh no no no bros, I think the people who doubted him are about to get BTFO once again
He's about to tell four movies worth of story over the next decade. I have no idea what he could possibly have in story, but I trust in Cameron. It actually makes me excited to go to the cinema for the first time in a long while.
>all these people who thought Cameron was going to disappear for 13 years and NOT come back with something revolutionary
I'm thinking 3 billies is back on the menu.
It's not considered prime because otherwise otherwise every prime factorization would include a 1^infinity term, which mathematicians don't want to deal with.
>Thoughts on Siggy playing a teenaged Na'vi?
If it's a reincarnation, that's cool. Perhaps the movie is about her either realizing it or coming to terms with that.
Or it could be that Cameron just wanted to direct Weaver again lol.
>Kiri is cute ad I have 100% confidence in Jim knowing what he's doing.
Imagine someone not trusting Cameron at this point. Even if you don't like his movies, you can't deny their success.
As long as he's allowed to do what he wants, the movie will be kino.
>Kiri is watching footage of herself from her previous human life.
That's the theory yes.
But that's not Sigourney Weaver on the right. So my question was is it a placeholder for some future de-aged Grace or what?
The 1st movie still mostly looks great, but I always thought that these hyenas looked terrible, even on release. Excluding them and the bad grass when they land on floating mountains, the movie still looks tip fricking top.
They're upgrading the graphics and sound for Avatar 1 and re-releasing it in theaters in September. We're speculating that a 4K disc release will follow several months later.
Can't wait until the last 100 days, the last 30 days, the last 10 days, the last 7 days, the last 5 days, the last 2 days, and the last 1 day until Avatar 2
Lot of big milestones coming up bros

shill thread?
Thoughts?
Digging it.
Navi, with a FAL?
Rifle is not the right scale
it's a special FAL chambered for .50 BMG
how would a na'vi even know what metal was? Did Eywa describe the detailed material properties of metals?
The Na'vi would definitely have found Unobtainium by then since it's all over. I'd be surprised if the next movie didn't show them having Uobtainium tools. But maybe Eywa tells them not to since it's obviously something that helps the planetary network function
And what use is it to them anyways? They have everything they need, even organic internet and intense psychedelics they trip balls on.
It could help kill animals easier, armor, israeliteelry, tools, maybe they can use it for interesting floating devices. Any of the uses for a normal metal really, people have always been after making day to day life easier and more interesting
That Na'vi has a nice rack on her though.
Seriously though, Na'vi are forbidden to use anything with metal. Some kind of law they have.

NCO doubters utterly BTFO

I really hope that means we get novelizations of all five movies once they're released.
It begins.
Kino
GOAT
Is there any other mainstream director with resume comparable to Jim's?
Only Spielberg
>all these people who thought Cameron was going to disappear for 13 years and NOT come back with something revolutionary
I'm thinking 3 billies is back on the menu.
Looks like a PS3 game
The absolute madman
we're gonna make it bros
Literally how does he do it?
If I make one more post, it'll be the closest post I ever made to the release of Avatar: The Way of Water.
I wonder what Primeposter will say on day one.
Is 1 technically a prime?
It's not considered prime because otherwise otherwise every prime factorization would include a 1^infinity term, which mathematicians don't want to deal with.
You can't possibly keep this up!
or can he?
Look into your heart and find the answer
He can and he will. Avatarposter is made of sterner stuff than we mere mortals.
>167 Neys until Avatar 2
why did you change image, ney anon?
it's a new image every day, check the file name
i meant from the one with neytiri showing her teeth

>83 Neys until Avatar 1
I WANT TO BUY MY TICKETS NOW DAMMIT!
I love you
AAAH SHE'S SO CUTE I CAN'T TAKE IT!!
Thoughts on Siggy playing a teenaged Na'vi?
It's a bold choice. Seems like it has a lot of potential to backfire/be shit
>Thoughts on Siggy playing a teenaged Na'vi?
If it's a reincarnation, that's cool. Perhaps the movie is about her either realizing it or coming to terms with that.
Or it could be that Cameron just wanted to direct Weaver again lol.

I don't get it though, the woman on the right is Grace but it's a different actress.
Is that a placeholder and will eventually be replaced with a CGI de-aged Weaver?
Kiri is watching footage of herself from her previous human life.
>Kiri is watching footage of herself from her previous human life.
That's the theory yes.
But that's not Sigourney Weaver on the right. So my question was is it a placeholder for some future de-aged Grace or what?
>But that's not Sigourney Weaver on the right
You need to buy glasses
>You need to buy glasses
No I don't. It's not her. Unless it's an absolutely horrible angle that's distorting her face.
Actually very cool how they made young Siggy in avatar form.
Name a cooler sci-fi gunship.
BREAK FORMATION ENGAGE ALL HOSTILES
Name a more realistic sci-fi spaceship.
One of the things I'm looking forward to most is seeing more interstellar spacecraft.
>Name a more realistic sci-fi spaceship.
I honestly can't. The detail they went into to make the ship as realistic as possible is amazing.
I encourage everyone to check out the wikia article on the ship. it's flipping amazing.
Probably looking directly at the future right here.
Name a better alien waifu.
>Name a better alien waifu.
I'd say orion slave girls come close but they don't have the personality of neyney.
I love Avatar but M'Ress is pure kino
it's impossible, Neytiri is best alien waifu
We have a solid new competitor though
kys OP
Can he be stopped?

Shame if it's theatrical version, the extended cut is far better experience
Cameron has said the theatrical cut was the director's cut and I agree with him. it's very well-paced and efficiently told.
>Shame if it's theatrical version, the extended cut is far better experience
Yeah but at this point I'll take anything.
I do hope the 4K release is the extended edition as well though.
you're uncanny valleying them because they're lit by torchlight, a very different lighting scheme than most of the rest of the CGI in the movie.
Big milestone day.
