I just started it yesterday myself, liking it so far, it's quite refreshing after all the boring safe and sanitised media that releases most of the time now.
it steers so hard into cliche that it becomes something else entirely. great action. plans are always being made, executed, evaluated, and transgressed against. it's a very 'what if' show--what if so and so happens, and the show presents what it would take for 'so and so' to happen.
it's sort of a day in the life of some mean streets type guys or goodfellas 20 years later but everyone is doing a pesci or dinero or brando impression but it's played serious for laughs. almost like how the only way you can get a compelling superman story on screen is through homelander because he shows emotion.
A great first 4 seasons, a week 5th, an unwatchable 6th. At its best, Sopranos is a fun dark comedy, with fat fricks stuffing their fat fricking faces.
dude i’ll tell you just gimme a sec
The Sopranos
22 year old here. pure kinography
dogits cinfirm
I grew up in the 80s and 90s, do you find the show dated? I have heard that from younger people like my zoomer brother.

>OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
TAKE IT EASY!
This is the whole show

Great take Anon. I'd like to hear more on that Superman point; why Homelander, and why not, say, Reeve?
It’s like saw meets godfather 2
>IT’S MORE LIKE A HOTEL AT CAPTAIN TEBES
>who’s he?
>some captain of industry or something THAT’S NOT THE POINT
Took me a week to marathon the first episode
It's mid fr
It's alright but overrated
Midwits like it because there are therapy scenes that spell out the episode's themes and inner conflict for morons
What did people think of the Sopranos when it first came out in the 90s?
you may spend a lot of time triggered.
Grilled cheese of the radiator and whowas.
