I was tested at over 150 IQ last time I took an official stanford-binet, and while I do enjoy simple media, I don't prefer it, but for me it's more about tone and genre than complexity of content. I love action, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, and I hate drama and horror and anything that takes itself too seriously or comes off like it was written by and for women (full of interpersonal drama, overly emotional, irrational and histrionic in its problems and solutions); as it turns out the majority of capeshit checks most of my boxes.
