It didn't last but along with the 4kids cartoon it helped bring the series to a new generation

This was my first introduction to TMNT so I didn't know Shredder was supposed to be their main bad guy until the 2012 series.

This movie had some really moronic donut OC villains. Never read the OG comics but I think every villain was a mutant or a ninja of some kinda, don't know where the 3,000 year old terracotta warlords came from

I haven’t. Still think it’s great and probably the second best Turtles film.

“3,000 years old terracotta” is not that far fetched for the series, the villains in the film just sort of exist.

to be fair..that wasn't the case in the comics. And this movie takes influence from that in one way that never really gets adapted; the foot/TMNT peace agreement. It's why Karai's not really antagonistic to the turtles.

Imagi Studios' only mildly successful work.

I really like this movie. It has my favorite turtle designs and the story was written in a way that assumes you already know who these characters are which made room for the Leo/Raph conflict play out. I hate we never got another I would have liked to see how they made Shredder.

The only thing I remember about this is that Leo is voiced by Obi-Wan Kenobi.
And that the tie-in PC game was kinda fun.

April was voiced by Buffy, I think.

It starts assuming Shredder's dead already. I think it was on the tracks of the live action movies?

One of the best arcs features an old survivor from an ancient high-tech civilization. The comic villains are generally almost as wild as the 87 cartoon's.

It was. They've got the time scepter and Walker's hat from the third movie in their trophy room.

Leo and Mikey are voiced by people who voiced Ratchet which I think is pretty neat

It's a shit movie that doesn't care about the turtles or their allies outside of Raph and a really out of character Leo.

Which is a shame because it was better written than Mutant Mayhem

Turtlemania is NEVER coming back. Stick to video games, viacom. It's a video game property now.
