Sometimes I dream of being back too, school was such a miserable place. So much time wasted stressing over glorified busy work and bullshit. Waking up early for no reason. It's just an evil place.
So exactly like having a job but without the fear of being fired and becoming homeless constantly in the back of your mind. I’ll take high school over adult life any time. Life becomes pure endless misery once you leave school.
>didn't have a car in highschool since I learned to drive at 21/22 >got my first car (a red Pontiac )a couple years ago since my parents are fricking moronic and moved slower than Congress at getting a car >dream about being in high school but having the car I do now and the thought of driving myself to school and perhaps even getting McDonald's crosses my dream-brain.
Mine aren't nightmares, more like I am haunted by dreams of what could have been. I've dreamt about such a scenario (having a car & knowing how to drive back then) enough that it's not exactly a recurring dream, but a recurring theme.
Whenever I have this sort of dream Iwake up feeling angry and resentful towards my moronic parents.
I dropped out at the beginning of 12th grade 15 years ago and I still have dreams (at least a couple per year usually) of being back in 12th grade and finishing the last handful of credits I would have needed
I got a GED within a month after dropping out but that doesn't stop the dreams from coming back..Sometimes I'm even aware in the dream that I have a GED but for some reason I still try and finish getting the diploma because "having both would be nice" or something
ridiculous but at least he's a senior and only for the first 1/4 of the movie... he's really playing uni-age parker.
also who cares it's a cartoon movie and it's still got loads of spirit and energy.
are you literally me?
I've met all the life goals I'd set for myself, but I feel like I need to get into art or something.
Leave some evidence I was ever really young™
I'm 30 and my coworkers refuse to believe me, they think I'm 23.
My point is I should be on the third season of Euphoria, trying to pronebone that chick with a penis.
im 26 and not going to start undergrad until im nearly 28
this is the age where its truly over i think. i always strongly identified with wanting to hold on to being younger. now, i readily identify with being 27, 28, 29, hell im almost 30., 26 is the age where your life actually ends. there is nothing left
in many cultures, probably most cultures, a person reaches a stage of completion in life when they are married. so when people speak of others they say 'he had 3 children all wed' etc.
its not depressing, its just a point you are supposed to reach. after that you keep living, but that hurdle is a big one.
Chill bro, i think that a man is Young untill his 40's, not that your life ends at 40, but your posture and mindset must change into a more mature one, untill then you have so much to learn and experience
Im 24 btw, so im almost there and still feel like a kid
Sean Boswell AKA "Bama boy" from Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). Looks 30 something and plays a high school student. Pretty ridiculous and kinda funny. Am a fan of Fast and Furious anyways though.
yeah, I hate it. Hate being surrounded by people much older than me in my neighborhood and work too.
Wish I knew how to get plugged into a community without being a cultist
He's just like me
Still did a better job than this tool.
Sometimes I have nightmares about returning to high-school in my twenties.

Sometimes I daydream about returning to school
funny, i usually enjoy them.

The total irony of your post.

No one asked for your sob story. Go back to where you came from for your upvotes
this is clearly a blogging thread homosexual. imagine wanting to talk about movies
This was fine because the high school section is only the beginning of he movie.

marriage (if you are going to get married) is the age where your life ends
That's a depressing outlook on life. Can't relate at all, such a self-defeating mindset.

>spend all of primary school (~14 years) around the same people
>never see 99% of them ever again following graduation
Cool system

Same. I was thinking about signing up for a hiking club or adult rec sports but it turns out my area has neither
