You do know that viruses mutate right? But ignoring that, we don't know what the new movie will be about. Could just be the aftermath of it all

Man, I didn't know that hunger mutated, you better stop eating for 28 years and see how that goes. But the thing is that the new movie has no relation with the previous movies, why even make it part of the franchise?

Bro, for the virus to exist at all it needs a host, host that will stop moving a week after it can't find a good snack, at some point, that will not take that long, the food is going to run out one way or another, so the new movie will be pretty much a new virus some moron was still developing in his basement because uuuuhhhh.

Because at the end of 28 Weeks Later we see infected running through Paris, so without the barrier of the English channel, Rage will decimate the population of all Europe, the virus might also mutate, causing a whole host of problems, and the few surviving humans will be struggling to rebuild. I'm guessing some military morons will be raping and being grossly incompetent like in the previous two films.
Kek, make it some US Navy SEALs deployed for some nefarious purpose only to get their arses kicked as usual. Then the sole survivor can go on some post apocalyptic podcast and wail about how it's the Democrats fault.

      Anonymous

But we know there's a time limit on the infected before they die of starvation. The virus comes back in Weeks because of a carrier. In 28 Years there is no logical explanation for the virus to still be around. Either everybody has been wiped out and died or the virus disappeared again and the remaining population has a handle on carriers or has even developed a cure.
The only way you get a film is if someone has unknowingly been a carrier for 28 years and never once infected anyone by chance until the end of Act 1.

Skipping Months and going straight to Years is an interesting choice but I wonder if Months will be a prequel to fill in the gaps anyway I could see the followin happening in

      >28 Years after the original infection has spready in England and throughout the rest of the world
      >Society has returned to some sort of semi-normalcy everyone has a 9-5 job they need to be at but the infection is still pretty prominent as there has been no cure or vaccine on how to deal with it
      >People have just learned to live with it as part of their daily live and routine however some people are incredibly bored and want another collapse to happen like in the first movie because they are bored of their mundanity
      >UK is in some sort of facist type government that's barely clinging on to power led by Jim from the first movie because why not got to rope the audience in for nostlagia sake
      >Specialized squads or task forces have been created in order prepared to deal with the smaller outbreaks one or two surprise infected people could still cause disruptions and problems for society but they haven't had anything like the original one in years
      >Secondary plotline could be trying to work out some sort of cure or potential vaccine I guess Jim is doing questionable research with his scientific team
      >Another plotline could be some wannabe journalists trying to uncover the truth on how the infection started and spread

The spearhead would break off on the first zombie you stabbed it with and leave you disarmed. Real human bodies aren't made of mashed potatoes like they are in the walking dead and even a professionally forged steel spear would struggle to keep up with that kind of wear and tear.

If I had fulfilled my plans to stock 1 month worth of canned food in the basement it'd be an easy win. I'd wait for a month and then gtfo when they start getting weak/dying of starvation. Only serious problem would be after the water supply is cut but I'd fill every container in the house with water including the bathtub on day 1 so it should be fine.

Undetectable is untransmitable anon. When your viral load is below a certain threshold its not possible to transmit the virus. This has been well studied

It's all chances, the chances are very low but it may happen. Also the viral load is not constant, it fluctuates, many factors can affect it, something as simple as taking your medication late and going to your local orgy without a condom may easily spread it to a dozen people. If it were as simple as you believe no new cases would be reported
