The only real meltdown that happened was over the stupidity of what was happening with Andrea and then the bigger stupidity that came later when the scripts dropped
There wasn't as much Todd and Molly stuff as I was hoping for.
The only real meltdown that happened was over the stupidity of what was happening with Andrea and then the bigger stupidity that came later when the scripts dropped
It was sad to see it go, but some of the scripts make me think a lack of season 3 was us missing a bullet. At least they actually got the finale they wanted, Jinx vs the Human World would have mad for a much weaker ending to the series.
Honestly I prefer the final product the ghost and Molly mcgee we got. The curse is too much explains not enough catchy rhymes. I think this is one of those odd times when I think the finale is better than the prototype.
Real scripts. They were leaked on /trash/ and then the writers who worked on them had to go on Twitter and complain how they possibly got leaked since those were not for public viewing
can someone post them all? I completely missed these.

The common ones that get posted are the Andrea scripts and the Libby script
There is also apparently an absolute dogshit Geoff script where apparently he's actually racist towards the living and describes Molly as "one of the good ones" which is completely OoC for someone like Geoff to say

that last one sounds like a script that probably woulda gone through review with the rest of the team before making it.
I wanna see these real bad now...

They've been posted a billion fricking times already.

i found it on google. 18 episodes of scripts right? (technically only half a season because of the 11 minute format but still...)
Hopefully when the animation industry is in a better state some of these canceled streaming shows can get a second life (cleopatra in space ending on a cliffhanger like it did is especially cruel...at least molly got to wrap things up...)

The idea behind it is that Molly is friends with Scratch and Molly can become a ghost whenever she wants so in Geoff's backwards logic that makes Molly different. It's the Ghost equivalent of "my best friend is black so therefore he gave me the N word pass"
"Lifer" is also a slur used by ghosts

Funny thing is the season 1 finale where Scratch gets put on trial for being a dead person who's friends with a human and then it turns out he was a living human the whole time too.

This then ties back to Olly's plot in S3 where he comes to the conclusion that Ghosts aren't actually separate entities but lost souls and the Ghost Dimension is some weird purgatory they turned into a society because they didnt know what to do with their endless leisure time now that theyve all been seperated from their mortal bodies
Very unlikely. It didn't make it into the show, but we now know ghosts don't stick around after cleaning up their unfinished business. Scratch will be passing on.
They planned to address "passing on for real" in the third season. The implication would've been that yeah, Todd would just quickly pass on through to the real afterlife, that is unless saying one final goodbye to Molly winds up constituting unfinished business.
It was an Olly plot. The scripts are cryptically vague because people were comparing Olly's plan to Hazbin which has a similar plot only instead of demons its souls
nah, pandering to pedophiles is the one thing they still don't do that anime has us beat on. we'll never get true e-girl fanservice unless something major shifts in the industry...
Realistically now, we'd need to go through the hoops alcohol went through; a cycle of a Prohibition equivalent, then global economic crash, then the realization that the illegal thing made enough revenue to save said crashed economy all along, then finally legalization with regulations like was done with alcohol
The redpill people don't want to swallow is that all of these shows had good runs and ended when the time was right. They all generated lasting legacies that are remembered to this day.
All the shows that actually got screwed over and deserved better most people have forgotten about or never knew about in the first place hence their failure.

Not molly McGee
Every Andrea Episode left irreversible damage towards this show because the S3 scripts make the implication you could have kept Andrea exactly how she was written in S1A and everything still would have turned out the same
wish i was actually into the show at the time to see the meltdown
Meltdown over what?
it wasn't a meltdown, it was more like just a sigh about how sad it was that it was leaving but being happy that it was here.
The only real meltdown that happened was over the stupidity of what was happening with Andrea and then the bigger stupidity that came later when the scripts dropped
they really did the wrong thing with andrea. we LIKED her being a toxic pos that couldn't be touched. making her normal made her boring!
There wasn't as much Todd and Molly stuff as I was hoping for.
It was sad to see it go, but some of the scripts make me think a lack of season 3 was us missing a bullet. At least they actually got the finale they wanted, Jinx vs the Human World would have mad for a much weaker ending to the series.
>Jinx vs the Human World would have mad for a much weaker ending to the series.
Didn't watch it, why's that?
The series wasn't really made for big dramatic battles, and Jinx made for a weak villain. If you watched Star Vs she was pretty much Mina-tier.
That's an understatement considering how Molly literally "hugged" the Chairman into Non Existence.
It’s like they wanted to do a big weirdmageddon finale but also made it super half assed
Andrea's scripts were pretty awful but Libby's script is a masterclass /misc/ shitposting that was almost funded into existence
Like all the garbage people saw out of context in Twitter Clips about Proud Family S2 wouldnt even compare if that Libby script got animated
I haven't heard of this. Do you have a link?
which one is the best theme?
Honestly I prefer the final product the ghost and Molly mcgee we got. The curse is too much explains not enough catchy rhymes. I think this is one of those odd times when I think the finale is better than the prototype.
The final one, honestly.
BUT, HELLO YOU!
So how did Scratch learned about Peter Molyneux?
Post more scripts.
Post the Libby one.
are these real scripts or fan scripts
Real scripts. They were leaked on /trash/ and then the writers who worked on them had to go on Twitter and complain how they possibly got leaked since those were not for public viewing
I don't think any of the writers, or even Bob himself, acted like they were upset by it. Bob even endorsed fan-made readings of the scripts.
I want him to justify the Libby script.
Oops. *Bill endorsed, not Bob. Not sure what Bob had to say about it, if anything.

The plot then turns into something from Hazbin.
Yeah the scripts were awful
>People feuding over whether the 29th is a real day
It's such a low-stakes beef that it actually feels like it could be a real small town conflict.
Libby's bf
BFFs forever
what are the odds that it gets a revival someday where the girls are aged up (and scratch dies for real?)
Very unlikely. It didn't make it into the show, but we now know ghosts don't stick around after cleaning up their unfinished business. Scratch will be passing on.
howling hariet finished her unfinished business and then she stuck around

>sex tourist picking up underaged Thai girl
Shows come and go, but nothing's coming anymore. What's even left on cable worth watching?
Update this picture with Hailey's On it because that show is getting cancelled next
Also Moon Girl
Wouldn't Gravity Falls count as suicide?
yes
That's actually good question. Is there?
cartoons turned to shit the moment they started pandering to pedophiles and manchildren
nah, pandering to pedophiles is the one thing they still don't do that anime has us beat on. we'll never get true e-girl fanservice unless something major shifts in the industry...

Only in some of the cases listed. Gravity falls and Molly McGee were planned to have another season.

Not him but but almost every show there is still discussed in some way even today.
Molly McGee discussion will probably die out in a few months
>all of these shows had good runs and ended when the time was right. They all generated lasting legacies that are remembered to this day.
Not molly McGee
It's really been just 3 months? It feels like the finale came out a year ago
Season 2 came out a year ago
I'm madly in love with Molly McGee.
Sing to me.... what is TGAMM's legacy?
Broken promises. Forgettable storylines. Pompous crew members. Padded sleepovers. Boring musicals. Pathetic or absentee dads. Flatulent moms. Annoying siblings. Obese homosexuals. And most of all, wasted potential.
It was mostly just Bill, Bob and Sam King who ruined everything
I kinda wish they got the Harriet the Spy team to work on a show like this because they're better at writing Slice of Life scenarios.
Show that started pretty good, ran out of steam quite early but managed to end on a decent enough note.
Every Andrea Episode left irreversible damage towards this show because the S3 scripts make the implication you could have kept Andrea exactly how she was written in S1A and everything still would have turned out the same
A very catchy fun intro.
Ear worm intro, top tier expressions, and standard-setting comedy.
A catchy intro and great voice acting
I think majority agrees it had a fantastic intro.
>you're so mature for your age
Have to respect the fanbase, there's very little shipping art toward these two.
Every fricking thread
Unwashed Molly smells
>Hey, Scratch? You're alright. Don't go to the Ghost World tomorrow.
Seeing Molly falling for Ollie and their cute relationship reminds of how I missed kid and teenage love during my youth
Noooo anon, what are you saying, didn't you get the message, their relationship is supposed to make you angry for some reason.
frick no man. Like how fricking often do you find a cute b***h that you are so in sync with?
We need more inappropriately close sketchy relationships between grown ass men and young girls in western cartoons imho.
Where can I read those leaked season 3 scripts/outlines?
Google "Molly McGee Season 3 scripts"
Now shut.
The frick.
Up.
