I've my own gripe with it.

Aren't they too busy getting neglected by busy parents, exploited by companies or groomed by influencers to remember this?

Let me give you my "fat old angry I-need-a-shower guy" opinion:

      Voice acting: No complaints
      Visuals:
      - Environment: A bit lackluster, When procedurally generated, too few unique assets are used making it look repetitive. Also, use bump-mapping/displacement/tessellation for the ground, when I see cracks but without the proper light reflection it looks rather flat.
      - Camera: Some angels can show some low resolution textures/ texture filtering.
      - Other: I can, nitpick on small things like lack of anti-aliasing/ weird rim effect in >pic that are in frame for a few seconds... and I just did. The visuals can look stunning but then turn to mediocre the next scene. Overall both good and bad stuff to be said.
Animation: Not bad, I like the stylized motion blur on tail's flying animation.
Writing: I liked Sonic Boom writing. This, not so much.
      - Story: Poor execution,
      - Dialogue: Meh.

Overall I'd give it a 6/10. It does really well on certain aspects at certain time but not overall.

        >too busy getting neglected by busy parents, exploited by companies or groomed by influencers
The first two have always been common.
But independent of how many people watched it, some have and they will defend it in the future.

Yep, nostalgia is a b***h like that.
Being young, everything is new and interesting to try out.
The first time seeing a generic isekai can be cool, but once you grow older see the repeating patterns, and it becomes boring.

I hate how they have all these robots yet you rarely see them get destroyed and they often get back up from attacks, part of the point of robots in kids shows is they can get injured and destroyed while keeping a low rating.

People keep saying that but generations are different from each other. We're talking about a tablet generation here. The shows I watched weren't just fun as a kid. I talked to friends about them in school. Sometimes I watched them over at a friend's house. There were good experiences attached to it.

The show was okay for what it was, but "season 3" just felt like they kinda gave up on a lot of their original plot. Season 2 made it feel like restoring Green Hill would've meant the destruction of the Shatterspaces, which is why Nine flips out in the first place, but then suddenly season 3 gaslights us into thinking the Shatterspaces would've always been fine and that Nine actually just wanted to be left alone. It's weird.

Fight scenes just got longer and longer with each season. By the end of season 3, there were entire episodes that were just fight scenes. They're cool, but we needed more storytelling.

I loved the Pirates, but wish we got to focus more on Boscage and the Rebellion. Also, the Chaos Council got old by the end of season 1. Black Rose was super cute, though. Pretty pink pirate pussy.

However, I'm getting really fricking sick of seeing Green Hill everywhere. I get that it was the very first place ever in Sonic history, but fricking Christ, enough with Green Hill.

The dialogue got cringy in season 3 sometimes. Speaking of story, way too much exposition in that season. They had a nasty habit of telling then showing, which ruins the point of showing. Show, don't tell.

I'm guessing they want to make more Sonic content after this, and I'm hoping we get more slice of life stuff like Sonic Boom but not shy away completely from a story.

I don't care that this is Reddit spacing, I know you fricks don't want to read a blob.

I'm honestly impressed with MoA's god tier ability to stretch scenes out and waste so much time.

That's what they're good at. Fight scenes. Wonder if the writer's strike affected season 3 or they never really planned for 24 episodes. The first two seasons weren't... abnormal compared to season 3.

They are good at fight scenes but damn season 3 was more than pushing it. I had more or less checked out but when the giant Big showed up the season had officially jumped the shark for me.

They really should not have made season 3 just 7 episodes of non-stop fighting.

I could watch this show, or I could just rewatch some episodes of Boom instead. I think I'll pick the latter.
