Spiderman was visually incredible and I actually enjoyed it. Honestly, it wasnt super woke and most of the narrative around it here is tainted with Cinemaphile's moronic politics.
Nimona is the one with the wokest politics but since it is less popular people here dont talk about it as much.
Elemental was just utterly forgettable and worse than Zootopia in every conceivable way.

Aside from indian spiderman and pregnant biker black spiderwoman, there wasnt really anything that would make you think the movie had a woke agenda. Punk spiderman was hilarious and has enough wiggling room to be read as in the right or in the wrong. Gwen was much better in this movie than in the previous one, she actually had a character and vulnerable moments. Hell, even the cops were generally presented as human characters doing their jobs.
What about the fact the whole movie narrative is centered on the token black Spider-Man being the holiest, strongest, and most moral Spider-Man in the multiverse at the expense of every other Spider-Man ever

Elemental shouldn’t be nominated either since it got mediocre reviews. How it’s getting so much award buzz is beyond me.
At least with Elemental, it seemed to grow on people as time went on. The reviews were really bad at first but got better afterwards
