So this is what you can do with a budget when youre not using film to launder money
Money laundering
How exactly is money laundered in movie production? Usually money is laundered alongside the profits of a business, but with movies that would involve dumping money at the box office which wouldn't make much sense. If the money is laundered per say through salaries during production wouldn't that count as tax write-offs, and money laundering? Also why would Bezos need to launder money. I don't see him having many businesses that are considered illegitimate.
Embezzlement. You say you pay 50m for costumes, but you actually only paid 10m for the product and the 40m went to your subsidiary business that actually makes the armor that you have sole stock in.
So you get 40m profit that now has a paper trail, costs that can be deducted for tax purposes and such.
I haven't seen this but the opening of coppola';s dracula is great and by far the best part of that movie, a movie that's just that sounds pretty good.
>DU thread >oh great here we go again >wipe off keyboard >lick grease off fingers >get ready to flame >ayo hol up >it's all positive >wtf
Am I in the right thread?
Now I know for a fact Cinemaphile has been infiltrated by subversives because I'm the only one on here that liked this movie for years.
No, I usually only see monster universe threads. Why the frick would I enter that shit just to hear ESL ranting about how we deserve to have most of these shitty movies tied together? The only good one was DracUn.
Reminder that they attempted a soft reboot that continued directly after this scene, with Gadon replaced by this diversity hire. It was just weeks away from going into production before it was thankfully canceled.
Romanians are not Slavs. Them, Albanians and Greeks are southern Europeans, not eastern Europeans in the region. They do have more Slavic admixture though.
The real dracula didn't look slavic/eastern at all. He has dark weavy hair and green eyes, which is very typical of southern Europeans from the Balkans.
Luke Evans looks close enough to a med for it to work.
If it were flesh eater I would maybe. He drinks blood. Why doesn't he drink his own blood once in a while? It's like saliva. You ingest your own all the time.
i liked it, they did everything right, if it had starred a Chris it's be $billions
Ghadongay is gonna ruin the thread
I agree
Wonder if he himself made the thread
Looks like a great background for a video game or something. I like me some silhouettes.
looks way better than amazon’s 500B lord of the rings abomination
Yeah that printed on scale armor is a fricking embarrassment. They are laundering the frick out of bezos's money.

this
everything they do they subcontract to their own companies
idc what anyone says it was a great movie
Kino
Was interested but now I will never watch it.
You gay or something?
Gadon poster has done his job a bit too well and everyone I see her I get annoyed.
seek help
the armor set looks cool
I really like this movie. Kino shit. Probably one of the only enjoyable movies in the last 10 years long with Nightcrawler.
I don't really get it. They just remade the opening of Coppola's Dracula into a pointless mediocre capeshit origin for Dracula for no reason?
I mean he was a real historical person. You realize this, right?
He wasn't you fricking idiot. He's somewhat based on Vlad the Impaler, but he's not Bram Stroker's fricking Count Dracula
I haven't seen this but the opening of coppola';s dracula is great and by far the best part of that movie, a movie that's just that sounds pretty good.
The Room by Tommy Wiseau cost 6 million dollars.

don't worry anon i still know it's shit
The only bad part about this movie was the soft looking hamster villain.
the only good thing was luke evans
straight carried this shitshow
wtf are you talking about you are out of your little mind
did you just unironically post wannabe nick fury as if it was good?
tf are you even talking about? I don't want to know, you fricking numbskull.
easy there sport. charles dance was intended to be the sam jackson of the universal monster...universe
...But Russel got it instead or what?
That CU wasn't going to work because they needed to make competent movies first which they didn't do.
yeah they canceled it, then tried to reboot it again, then canceled it again. it was a whole thing
I heard about it I live on Cinemaphile but didn't know Dance was supposed to be anything other than pre-Drac.

Gadon too.
Yes.
Cute.
I watch for she.
More like Sarah Goddess.
>luke evans
>straight
I've liked it since it was released ,anon.
There are dozens of us
>years
you are either new and posturing or have avoided the majority of DU threads
they are most definitely positive on average

>ofc ill be your wife anon
>ofc I'll sit on your face anon
It was unironically good. Would have been way better with a serious budget.
looks like shit
movie name?
how vlad got his groove back
Dracula Untold
Orlando: My Life in Bloom
Dracula II: Bad Vlad
vlad the mad lad
vlad drac 2: he's back
Morbius
Alucard Told
Nosferatu Uninformed
Bram Stoker's Dracula, produced by Fred Fuchs (formerly Chuck Fuchs)
Interview with a vampire (not to be confused with Interview with the Vampire)
Dr. Acula got told off
Castlevania lords of shadow
newhomosexuals bumping
So this is what you can do with a budget when youre not using film to launder money
have a nice day gadonshitter
>> $5M budget
5 million is a micro budget for a movie, Captin Marvel cost 100+ Million and looks worse than phantom menace
Money laundering
Lying homosexual. I knew that had to be bullshit so I googled it and it was 70 million you fricking piece of trash
Hell yeah! Frick that dude! His mom and dad SUCK!
>sacrifices himself for the sake of his kingdom
>villagers turn on him
buttholes
Kino cast
The world could use more Gadon kino.
Why is she still alive? Wtf
So we could have had a kino sequel.
because dracula's loves always get reincarnated
>The game begins
Reminder that they attempted a soft reboot that continued directly after this scene, with Gadon replaced by this diversity hire. It was just weeks away from going into production before it was thankfully canceled.
>have an East European vampire played by a w*stoid
Why do they do this?
it's a western film
and eastoids tend to look like mishapen potatoes
Never understood how such balding potatoes give births to beautiful women uniformly..
east european men aren't that bad-looking when they're young. they don't age well though and the vast majority of them go bald by the age of 30
Sounds like americans.
Nice one, Borat.
Romanians are not Slavs. Them, Albanians and Greeks are southern Europeans, not eastern Europeans in the region. They do have more Slavic admixture though.

Wallachia was more Med than Slavic. And Brits are our MED BVRTHERS.
t. Med
I don't understand why Nordics consider Brits white. Even after Nords raping the poor island, they never became sufficiently white
you guys are beyond moronic
That's the Black Irish showing through their Brythonic admixture
How many of those are Welsh or israelites?
As if english is a real ethnicity. You're a mix of Welsh, Irish, romans, germanics and french.
Well, it's either this or a bunch of Black folk. We can all be happy with what we got as it is.
kino
Literally none of the Dark Universe movies were any worse than the Marvel homosexualry in terms of quality. In many aspects they were better.
You're on the wrong side of history, kid.
When will Hollywood stop being a pussy and make a proper Hellsing movie with Idris Elba as Alexander Anderson and Leslie Johnes as Seras Victoria?
>Leslie Johnes as Seras Victoria
Please don't give Netflix ideas.
>Budget $70,000,000 (estimated)
The Turkish soldiers look better honestly and so do the horses.
Also it had a budget of like 70mil.
I do like this movie. It has 100% full rewatch from me when it's on tv
>makes thread
>sarah gadon poster has another playing field
god damn you anon
you based obsessed moron
Why didn't Dracula just drink his own blood?
Why don't you eat your own flesh?
Why doesn't a lightbulb harness its own photovoltaic power to juice itself?
If it were flesh eater I would maybe. He drinks blood. Why doesn't he drink his own blood once in a while? It's like saliva. You ingest your own all the time.
>pro-white film
>isn't used so as a vehicle for israelite money laundering to Israel
Really makes you think
the silver armor of his evil brother lucked amazing
It looked cheap.
Was great. Wish there was a sequel.
this was its generations con air.
>silly but kinda inovative fun
>honest to itself
>perfectly executed
Most underrated movie of the last decade.
I watched it in cinema with a buddy as we were ending high school, it was enjoyable but could've been even better. Reminded me of Blood Omen a bit.
that dude is a charisma black hole that only sam worthington can match. he must let them poop on his chest or some shit to get in all these movies.
That explains the plastic armour
The Charles Dance scene was great.
This was a genuinely fun movie, I really wish it didn't get axed for continuation
They can still make a sequel. Nothing is off the table these days I suppose.
Universal not being complete idiots is always off table. At least they didn't go all the way in their stupidity like fricking DC
Dark universe planned a sequel which also worked as a crossover with Van Helsing and direct continuation to The Mummy.
So even if director said Dracula Untold was rejected, producers still planned to include it.
Luke Evans is still interested in dark universe and wants to come back. Universal is tone deaf.
I get this is a poorly disguised Sarah Gadon thread but I did enjoy the shlock quality of this movie
Was a genuine great movie.
movies and tv shows are money laundering operations.
Who audits where producers received funds from? Or what they spent them on?
it turned to shit when he became a superhero sending swarm of bats and shit
I don't know if Luke Evans is handsome but he has a kino face.
I thought this movie was decent for what it was. Better than modern day marvelshit.
Made Dracula look like a fricking powerhouse. The Fist of Heavens Bat smite scene against the Ottoman army is iconic.
