I don't get it, are you saying it is too much? I never run out of space even on my 260GB SSD. I manage to seed everything to 3x before having to delete stuff.
>only download non-executables >use them in a Linux VM >there is a $250K prize for the person who can hack outside a VM into the host
I will be fine.
As long as you have a regular hard drive why not? But yeah I don't torrent on my ssd only laptop it feels wasteful to use a write cycle on some moronic tv show I'll watch once and delete.
I still have my very first ssd in my cpu, along m2 and one 8t hdd. NAS takes care of main storage. It started to show some problems two years ago, turned out it was sata cable.
1. Open qBittorrent
2. Go to View and click Search Engine
3. Click the tab labelled "Search" that appears
4. Click Search plugins on the bottom right
5. Click Check for updates
6. Click OK and close the plugin window.
7. You can now search across hundreds of public trackers with qBittorrent, very often places that have reuploads of rarbg releases too.
search "functionality" is just python scripts written by volunteers. you can look at the code and figure it out. >inb4 i don't understand code
just put it in ChatGPT and ask it to explain
I used to care about extras back when I'd buy BDs and stuff. Now I just want the movie, native audio, and subtitles if needed. Everything else bloats the size up for no reason for me.
I remux the remux to remove all unneeded shit. Also, most stuff I watch doesn't get a full dump release. Hell, only a select few of the asian shows I watch even get a BD-remux release, just a 1080p or 4K WEB-DL.

mkvtoolnix and just unselect all the stuff not needed. Sometimes I go full autism, like with one Jap horror movie I had to OCR a 720p's burn-in subs, so I could fix them up and add them to a 1080p release.
Remember when you'd open Emule or Limewire, just type a random string of characters, and the first three or four results would be that + mp4 or mp3 or zip or something?
>qfuaiseufrickingkiddingmeauig.mp4 >qfuaiseufrickingkiddingmeauig.mp3 >qfuaiseufrickingkiddingmeauig.zip >qfuaiseufrickingkiddingmeauig HD VERSION
I wonder what would have happened if I downloaded those
I now mainly prate/stream movies that were released pre-2000. I was too young to appreciate them at the time so it's been great actually enjoying movies again.
Yeah, Violent Saturday is on youtube 1080p but that's dvd tier, I want legit HD for less than $80. Picked up The Gunfighter BD for $13, it's a better film and not made in limited numbers.
You know what i want? A website that is just a search bar on black background. No lists, no links, just a search bar. In that search bar i type the name of any movie that was ever made in any edition that was ever made. Then i pay $4.99 to rent it for a single viewing(viable for 24hrs) and click play. That is all. If i want to watch an obscure Extended Cut of Romeros Dawn of the Dead all it takes is me typing the title of the movie and forking over 5 bucks. That is all. No subscriptions, no region locks, nothing.
I really can't take it. I got so used to the standard availability of rarbg that looking through 1337x to find ones that aren't trash or unseeded makes me want to puke.
>Oh no I have to download 10gb of kino >free >oh no my hard drive is almost full >with the money saved from watching 5 movies, I can but 5tb of storage >such a tragedy

I delete movies after watching if I'm pretty sure I won't ever watch them again, keeping some movies doesn't mean keeping all of them without sense.
Yeah. You don't even realize how good we're having it. 10 years ago 8 gigs was a two layer DVD, so, if you wanted high quality and there was no fat ass blu-ray, that was your go-to choice. Now you have excellent 10 gig rips that look just as good as reduxes.
>paying 400 bucks for 1tb while downloading at 1gb movies 1mb/s
is supposed to be better than >paying 100 bucks for 2tb while downloading 10gb movies at 40mb/s
??????????????
you will get malware from russia that bottlenecks your processor
don't frick with pirating
moron
I have 1700 torrents and counting on my 2012 MacBook Pro and it works the same as it did then. What am I doing right?
>MacBook
You gamed the system. Consider yourself lucky.
You just have to delete the system32 folder, thats the virus and your computer will fly afterward
skill issues.
it's true, my brother died after he contracted a virus from torrenting

Wtf are you talking about? Fricking write cycle lmao.
SSD/M.2 are ridiculous cheap now. They also last much longer than you think. My 840 Pro is still going strong after abuse.
I still have my very first ssd in my cpu, along m2 and one 8t hdd. NAS takes care of main storage. It started to show some problems two years ago, turned out it was sata cable.

The search function works? I've learn to not trust these since Limewire and eMule
search "functionality" is just python scripts written by volunteers. you can look at the code and figure it out.
>inb4 i don't understand code

What if you want to browse and randomly stumble across a a movie or tv show you've never heard of and thus couldn't search for?
thank you anon
don't you need python for that shit?
That should be watched in 4k or 1080p remux minimum, same with The Fall.
>he doesn't use private trackers
I can grab the entire 32GB BD-Remux in a few minutes. Stop being a moron.
Everything should be watched at best quality available, which for new shit is 4K WEB-DL or wait for the BD/UHD to come out and grab the remux.
>Remux
>not bdmv
i stopped downloading remuxs when i noticed some of them didn't include commentary, also i enjoy extra content like bts.
I used to care about extras back when I'd buy BDs and stuff. Now I just want the movie, native audio, and subtitles if needed. Everything else bloats the size up for no reason for me.
>Everything else bloats the size up for no reason for me.
remuxs often include tons of foreign audio. i like to download the bdmv and remux the video myself.
I remux the remux to remove all unneeded shit. Also, most stuff I watch doesn't get a full dump release. Hell, only a select few of the asian shows I watch even get a BD-remux release, just a 1080p or 4K WEB-DL.

>no more 1.3 gb rarbg x265 releases
why even pirate
But today you can watch movies and shows on streaming websites

relentless pop-ups for porno. you click the x to close one and 5 more pop up. your computer is bricked essentially
Or the .mp3.exe ones
The Northman
you can't catch malware from media files .mp3/4/mpg etc
Name one (1) recent movie worth pirating
>Kill Boksoon
>BlackBerry
There, I gave you 2.
Well I liked Blackberry so I will check out Boksoon, thx
No problem. Kill Boksoon has wonderful action scenes. Her fight against the star student is particularly great.
There are none.
I now mainly prate/stream movies that were released pre-2000. I was too young to appreciate them at the time so it's been great actually enjoying movies again.
What about old stuff? I'm looking for high quality CinemaScope films, so 53-67.
Many are not available on BD, or outrageous $$$.
Yeah you'll need to go back in time 15 years and make an account on PTP
Yeah, Violent Saturday is on youtube 1080p but that's dvd tier, I want legit HD for less than $80. Picked up The Gunfighter BD for $13, it's a better film and not made in limited numbers.
my homie, at some point you have to understand that if a movie just hasn't been re-scanned, you can't really expect to find it in higher quality.
I'm not your Black person and many of them are.

Best post
>saving movies to an HD watch them again.
If I watch a movie a second time, that is taking away precious time that I could be watching a new kino. It's digital hoarding.
then you have no excuse not to download it because you know you will delete it right away and have more room
Streaming is for you then
Nah, you could add probably 200 rewatched movies to this, some multiple times.
So if you want to rewatch a kino scene you either hope you find it on shittube or on some garbage stream site?
I delete movies after watching if I'm pretty sure I won't ever watch them again, keeping some movies doesn't mean keeping all of them without sense.
>rewatch a kino scene
Again, That's taking valuable time I could use to watch NEW kino.
Why rewatch? What do I get out of it that I didn't get the first time?
Are there so many new movies that are worth your time? Or are you just talking about movies you've never seen before?
Why do people say remux when they clearly have no idea what it means?
If you're downloading anything but <2GB YIFY rips you're doing it wrong.
The Cell is alright but The Fall is cretified kino
Immortals > The Cell > The Fall

I don't download releases unless they are 30gb plus.
Best physical storage medium to keep my kinos safe for a long time?
RAID. pick whatever level you need that's not 0.
Non American problems. Pablo, I have 700mb down and a real-debrid account. I download that file in 2 min.
A bluray can hold about 100gb. You're getting a heavily cut down version, like an MP3
