Surely this isn’t sustainable?

    UPS drivers now make $175000/yr

This is DEFINITELY not sustainable. I'd love it to be, but it's not. Delivery is not a high-value job in a healthy society.

But it's a high demand job.

Jesus christ you are so moronic. Their compensation package is WORTH $170k if they work 50 hours a week.

They aren't earning 170k a year. They are earning about 100k a year working 20% more than the average 40hour person, and this is after working the warehouses for years and sucking off the right person to get a delivery role.

Same, I already have no social life and during covid I would literally go weeks without leaving my apartment. I became extremely spergy and could barely hold eye contact with people. Took an in-office role as soon as the scamdemic ended.
As annoying as coworkers can be, I need the human interaction

had a similar situation but it has been a struggle, I am so fricking awkward I just pray they don't hate me. for the best though, you go one way or the other and I don't want to go back to being a shut in

Yeah i went weird working from home like constantly losing my temper whenever i had to do my actual job and not wanting to leave the house even to get groceries.

So instead i turned into a lardass getting fast food delivered twice a day and avoiding all human contact.

I didn't go back to the office (because I don't even live in the same country anymore) but someone I knew convinced me to go to a nomad workspace type place where I got to meet people, feels like working in an office except no one ever nags you to do something

As soon as the company has someone like McKinsey looking into efficiencies, you're toast.

actually anyone with an MBA will be able to figure out efficiencies of the work from home employees and force them to do more or accept fewer hours.

I hate americans so much it’s unreal.

You privileged lazy weak homosexuals won’t be on top for much longer.

Product manager was the ultimate email meme job but tech is still in pretty rough waters and those roles are basically impossible to get now

I work in sales ops, meaning I help refine and implement new sales processes. In practice my job is just answering process questions from sales managers and occasionally working with the CRM pajeets to change something in salesforce. As I said, maybe 90 minutes a day

on a micro scale it is because you can just sneak into a new role like this whenever you want if you found a good little niche to explore. on a macro scale, who cares, even the most optimistic person these days seems to have no hope or thoughts for the future

when it comes to wagecucking, we have no chance against changs and pajeets. this is why crony capitalism such as US defense contractors will never die.
