Once you reach 60+ then all fat old people kind of look the same. He also still has his hair, which is a bonus.

He has famously had fake hair since the 60s, but yeah, being porky has probably helped

It's not fake, it's just not native to his head.

Fair. Well, he was wigged up for decades before the transplants. His original series wigs used to mysteriously go missing from the set, then by the time they were making Trek films he was into the weirdly dark almost curly TJ Hooker era, with absolutely no regard for character continuity, and they got worse in quality as the Trek films went on. Not sure when he went the surgical route

Yep. We're all basically pre-programmed out the womb for thr most part. Sure you can do things that may extend or lower your life expectancy a little. But the reality is these have nothing compared to what you're scripted for. No beating it. My healthy as fuxk friend just died from a rare cancer at 33. He got diagnosed only 2 years ago. Nothing you can do but hope you rolled a good sheet. Still be healthy tho. The reason shatner looks good is no drinking and smoking, yeah you can live to 92 if you're lucky but you'll look like shit

Certain cancers are skyrocketing in younger people worldwide. You’re telling me that’s genetics?

maintaining that much body weight is incredible. im genuinely not making fun of him for being fat, normally by that age people are walking skeletons as they lose their appetite. he's clearly doing something right and at 93 who gives a shit about the risk of weight related heart disease its better than malnutrition

Man aged hard fast in the Kirk years then barely changed for decades. Once you’re an old pink hued man with fake hair who’s a bit too chubby to wrinkle much, there’s not a lot that can really change. It’s interesting and sort of inspiring how with it and full of life he still is though

Shartner has been chilling for YEARS. He also has millions and doesn't give AF. He trolls people on Twitter for fun. He's enjoying himself with good food and a good time.
