It’s funny but apparently the real problem was a piece of shit tin can that went crunch.
Regardless, I just hope we'll get an investigation and trial kino.
It was on the high seas and they were drinking White Claws.
>James Cameron as star witness
>Hours of him calling the former CEO a moron
yes, this is what I want
It'd gross more than Avatar tbqh
>Alright Marines this is our consultant
>She claims she saw an alien underwater
>Everything else you need to know is on her report
>We'll drop at 2 hours and I want everyone to submit a pre-action plan pronto
>We're going to do this by the book, you're dismissed
>carbon fiber tube with a glass window at the peak of the dome can't withstand 2000+psi
Good thing he didn't listen to those uninspiring white men.
The sub was designed and built by white men though
Not according to the ceo
He never said that. You’re conflating two different things that Black person loving ceo said
He literally said "we purposely didn't hire any military submarine experts with decades of experience because they were white and that wouldn't be inspiring"
That sounds like an insane quote that I wasn't able to attribute to anyone. Mind showing me where you heard it?
If you google "Stockton Rush white guys" you can find it.
From a video which the CEO says it.
zero blacks
moron
>didnt meet the diversity quota of success
anon?
he'a indian.Cope
But also, zero whites
He did say that, but it was a giant cope and virtue signal. The truth was every experienced submariner either refused to dive, blew the whistle, and/or resigned. He purposely hired randoms who lacked the knowledge to challenge the bad practices of the company. Basically young kids who didn't know any better.
you post this in every thread with no source so I'm going to assume it's not true. and by the way even if it is true it doesn't matter.
it was made by mostly white guys what are you even talking about dont try to shift blame white boi
to
Don't care the best memes at the top are dabbing on logitech.
They went down in it before. Probably some damage they didn't detect. At 2.5 million revenue a trip, you'd think they could afford a better sub.
I believe it was based on a design Richard Branson had commissioned, intended for a single dive.
>They went down in it before. Probably some damage they didn't detect. At 2.5 million revenue a trip, you'd think they could afford a better sub.
You'd think NASA could afford a new spacecraft every time they launched astronauts too...or that they would have stopped using the shuttles after the FIRST catastrophic failure.
>comparing a submersible to a fricking spaceship in terms of cost
>comparing a private tourist venture to fricking NASA in terms of budget
>At 2.5 million revenue a trip,
What are you talking about?
$250,000/paying customer
5 people onboard:
>1 pilot (driver)
>1 titanic subject expert (tour guide)
>3 paying customers
So how'd you get 2.5 million instead of $750k, and that's merely revenue and not accounting for expenses.
I did the original calculation for 5 people at 500k for some reason. Whatever, I just got off and my point stands.
Stockton (or at least his wife) was loaded.
Man could have affforded a new sub out of pocket after every single dive.
If only they hadn't made it out of a material famous for its progressively increasing undetectable damage.
So buy the dip?
This. The mass produced, tried and true item wasn't the real issue. It was the shitty design of the structure itself.
The controller was a symptom of cost cutting which ultimately led to their demise.
its the implication
The controller batteries died.
>that went crunch.
It actually went bomb
A catastrophic implosion at that pressure actually creates an explosion because the air ignites like a diesel engine
>logitech controller conks out
>while struggling to reconnect bluetooth it starts to drift
>hits a rock
>this is enough to cause the titanium hull to start buckling inwards and implode
you guys think the controller made it?
It's only Logitech. No consumer electronics could withstand that level of force and survive unless it were made of solid Nokium.
>Inverse settings
>It's not 130 feet deep - it's 13,000
>the glass was only rated for 1,300 M
>they lost contact at 1,450 M
Five people were liquefied in under a second, it's a hell of a thing to imagine.
Liquefied? A body can.. liquefy?
It’s already liquid. Just have to let it out.
Just wait until you hear about the skeletons having an inside man
sweaty have you neverheard of magma? even rock can liquefy
Paulie used to slice the garlic so thin it would liquify in the pan with a little oil
ey
>I just had a call from the great controller in the Atlantic, he says we can't sink deeper any further, not for another 10 feet
>be a billionaire
>too cheap to get a proper submarine, equipment, engineering, uses a cheap Logitech controller for steering
You get what you pay for
>use windows that are safety rated for 1/3 of the depth you plan to visit
>make the hull out of carbon fiber instead of steel, which is not only more expensive but absurdly brittle and will fail catastrophically if stressed too much so the only reason to use it is because it sounds cool (or your engineers are incompetent)
>use shit controller
>have no navigation on board and rely on a mothership Rise of Skywalker style
It was a host of issues, really and most of them stemmed from the ceo thinking he’s too cool for safety
No sonar beacon just blows my frickin' mind.
sonar beacon doesn’t do whit when you fricking implode
I wonder if they saw the window cracking or heard the hull shifting, panicked and tried to surface only to get crushed? How long before dying might they have been aware that something had gone wrong?
Probably had no time to know.
The pilot moron would have probably been like "Haha nope just normal sounds heading into deeper pressures, all according to plan" as the hull reached the breaking point then once it hit that point it would have instantly crushed like you crushing a pop can.
They knew. They had dropped their ascent weights and were trying to come up.
Probably not
>How long before dying might they have been aware that something had gone wrong?
Seconds, maybe. Atmospheric air pressure is 14psi, at Titanic depths it’s around 5000psi. The first crack that breaks the hull seal would result in a laser jet of water that quite literally vaporizes everything in its path
>literally vaporizes
what?
Vaporizes mean to be turned to vapor.
I saw a simulation earlier that estimated it took thirty milliseconds so they probably didn't even have time to register what had happened before they were crushed by the water pressure and the imploding sub. A merciful end when you consider the theories that they were slowly asphyxiating over the course of three days
It’s in another thread
It looks as if there won't even be any bodies to recover, they all would have been smooshed into a flaming ball of flesh and bones. Ruthless.
>thirty milliseconds
>probably didn't even have time to register what had happened
lmao boomer moment much? 30 ms is roughly 1 frame at 30fps, are you one of those people that insists people cant tell apart 30 and 60 fps? i have a rig capable of running a shit load of games at 144hz so let me assure you 30 ms is a long fricking time to notice something
*clicks to absorb neighboring duchy into blob*
Ahhh... now this is deep gaming.
Yes.
>1 frame at 30fps
>In a 2022 dive to the Titanic, one of the thrusters on the Titan was accidentally installed backwards and the submersible started spinning in circles when trying to move forward near the sea floor. As documented by the BBC documentary Take Me to Titanic, the issue was bypassed by steering while holding the game controller sideways.
It's comedic.
Didn't want any old white dudes because they're not creative
The carbon fibre was because it’s lighter.
Which is because the cheap moron didn’t want to buy a bigger crane
>traveling to the only environment humans can reach that’s more dangerous than the void of outer space
>nah use the lower quality material, it’ll be fine, I don’t want to pay for a proper crane to move the thing
I will never understand that mindset
I’m being serious, by the way. A water jet at that depth is multiple tons being directed at every square inch of the target. I don’t know any material that can withstand that kind of sudden force, but I will categorically say human flesh and carbon fiber are not it
>The porthole was only rated to 1300m
>They told people a sub rated for 1300m was able to go 4000m down to the titanic?
>They gave them the propaganda number...
Fun fact the real german robot thing functioned properly, the fake number thingy was made up for the show, the robot did its job till one of the tracks got stuck on rubble.
In real life they also sent 3 robots, but 2 of them were stolen
meh, show version is better.
>stolen
Kek. I don't know which version shows the dysfunction of Soviet Russia better.
>G*rmanoid gay robot gets stuck
>It's Russia's fault
>How much is it on Amazon?
>30 dollars, but that's without sh...
>30 dollars. Not great, not terrible.
400 atmospheres? ive been told it's the equivalent of a goth girl sitting on your face
>Actually that's quite significant
kek
Good post.
Is it a good or bad PR for the controller though?
>You're a deep see expert, Cameron. So am I.
>So tell me
>How does a logitech controller cause a submarine to implode?
forgot pic
logitech controllers are generally pieces of shit. xbone and DS4 are both much better constructed.
The controller is like two decades old lmao I don't think Logitech even make controllers
that's why they use it
I saw the logitech community manger already made a post about it being the best around but not recommended for deep sea diving.
This
It isn't a hard PR
You just gotta say "Our thing is the best... for gaming. Outside applications are not tested lol" and that's it
Depends. Did it have an implode button?
yea, Launch
My brother in Christ the manufacturer lost 1 Billion in shares.
>There is no sub! It imploded! The sub imploded!
>He's delusional, get him out of here.
>There was debris on the ocean floor!
>I saw it!
lol dose gamers
probably thought he had extra men IRL
GET US DIRECTLY INTO THE TITANIC
>OPEN THE VALVES!
>ALL THAT MATTERS IS GETTING WATER FLOWING THROUGH MY SUB
>WAIT NO - NOT LIKE THAT!
>I haven't reviewed it yet, I only just found out w-
>There, review it.
>titanic
>titan
Guess what the next one will be called
The Ic?
tit
Tit
anyone else disappointed we didn't get a sub to open up? implosion was the least interesting conclusion
Sure, but it's pretty obvious they've known for days now that the sub broke and they were all dead. The wreckage was right by the titanic.....
>The wreckage was right by the titanic.....
YOU DID NOT SEE THE WRECKAGE BECAUSE IT ISN'T THERE
They've known since Sunday but wanted the news cycle away from Biden's senility and the growing backlash against Pride Month.
I thought it was Hunter Biden, make your mind up schizo
qrd?
>submarine tour carrying two billionaires goes wrong and everyone dies
>media pretends like this is the most important new ever to cover up Hunter Biden crimes
Doesn't the military use Xbox controllers for some of their equipment? Why are we hating on the Logitech controller here?
Because it's funny, nobody with a brain blames logitech, even if the controller did fail it wouldn't have caused any issue other than causing an abort of the tour.
No one's hating on Logitech, it's just the absurdity of using a 30 dollar controller to do a deep dive
There's really nothing wrong with it though. Using a 30 dollar window though.... that's concerning.
Its not as funny to the public, if a military drone had a catastrophic failure because of something different to the controller everyone would still laugh at it being driven by a fricking Xbox controller
military drones literally do use xbox controllers
https://taskandpurpose.com/tech-tactics/us-military-video-game-controllers-war/
atleast those are OEM not 3rd party
>30 dollar window
where are you getting this?
It wasn't literally 30 dollars, but it was woefully underbuilt for 4000m deep.
Yes there is, moron. It’s fricking stupid. And don’t go posting fluff pieces about how six years ago the navy said they were using Xbox controllers to control part of a periscope, that shit is meaningless.
What are these stick extensions for? More precision?
Makes it go faster
That were the flame decals on the sub.
The water is really cold that far down, anon
It's a boomer thing because controllers usually have a button and a half press button if you push the stick , it's not a slider that will give you a range of increasing button press
Its what third worlder teenagers buy when they are too poor to afford the xbox or dualshock 4 controller lol.
I have no idea why they would use a wireless controller and risk blthe batteries dying or interference making it useless. Logitech makes the same controller but with a wire for cheaper.
im split on this
>admire the ingenuity
>main nav of a garage project
>Ok, very slow now. Let's ease it down to 4,000.
>These funny hats are critical to operating a nuclear power plant
Uniforms are important when maintaining a discipline on real jobs. It's not my fault you work as a key pusher for big tech.
its a case of
>i need to break apart a bunch of controllers to make it work
>alright we got it to work with this controller
>controller stays
Those logitech controllers can switch between directinput and xinput. Xbox controllers only support xinput. The software they were using might have only supported directinput.
on the other hand it doesnt really matter if its wireless cause of the salt water surroundings
They used one of the analog sticks to move move forward and backward, and they used the other to move side to side. The playstation controller layout was probably less awkward for that since the sticks are both on the bottom. Maybe they wanted that design but needed to use xinput.
The right controller, the stick goes left to turn left and right to turn right
The left controller, the stick goes up to descend and down to ascend
>you can see the titanic from the porthole in the sub
>I want you to go and take a look
>"No... No I won't do that"
>Of course you will
my fricking sides
Also he made the sub himself WITH ZERO blacks
What's with the 18th bolt?
Good god. I'm gonna need to double check this because that's way too moronic.
Like, I don't care about the hand ratchet thing, but the other thing.
Oh god, it is true. At least it's what one of the previous customers says.
LMAO couldn't bother to buy a 50 buck hydraulic screwdriver that CEO was legit a hippie with a death wish.
>hand tightening everything with just a $20 ratchet from harbor freight
based
Wonder if they used a proper tightening pattern?
That's a very white question. You're fired.
frick the star pattern, it doesnt make a difference
The pattern doesn't matter if you recheck the bolts as many times as necessary for all to be tight
You can watch the video and see it doesnt look like it
https://twitter.com/thehighlight0/status/1671729168940437504
as dumb as it sounds, that wasnt the problem. assuming it opens outwards. with immense pressure of water at those depths you could literally remove all of them and it wouldn't make a difference
it does show that they were a bunch of reckless cornercutters
It doesn't 'open' like a hatch. It's simply flange and the two halves of the sub are bolted together. Your point is still kind of true though, past a certain depth the water is probably providing more clamping force than the bolts.
>It doesn't 'open' like a hatch. It's simply flange and the two halves of the sub are bolted together.
yeah, thats what i meant
that's true if the design and engineering are good enough. physics will seal the hatch for you.
>Come to shallower water from your deep dive
>Water no longer holds it shut and it bursts in killing everyone regardless
they might handtight the bolts by hand to be sure not to strip the bolt and they use a torque wrench to torque them to the right pressure? You still need to torque your nuts or bolts even after using an impact driver on your car wheels
Hand tightening is the correct thing, they user a torque wrench for final torque in the video. It avoids over tightening and stretching the bolts. However, steel can deform or become brittle at those pressures and it wouldn't surprise me to know they were using the cheapest Chinese "steel" fasteners
why the frick did he even need that extension for. Fricking guy probably didn't even put dope on the bolts and reused some old ones. I don't know anything about frick but I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was tack welded
Any mathematicians here? Are 17 and 18 the same?
I'm laughing so hard
Functionally. You can test this yourself. Take two bowls, put 17 peanuts in one, 18 in another. Eat both bowls. Which was which? You’ll never know, because I poisoned the peanuts and you’re dead.
Joke's on you. I've been building up my peanut poison resistance for the last 17 or 18 years.
Sex offender here.
No, they are not.
if that turns out to be true that's a fricking lawsuit if I ever saw one
They're all dead and they signed a waiver that basically said this thing will be your tomb.
The CEO died and they died, who's going to sew who?
The company probably still owns assets they can sell off. In a limited liability company (which most companies are) the CEO wouldn't be sued anyways, ot would be the corporation. They owned a boat and a warehouse which could potentially be sold to cover a settlement.
CEO can be and have been sued if what they did was proven malicious and reckless. But Stockton is only worth 12 million according to Google and majority of that is probably tied up in Oceangate so I doubt there is any estate left to sue.
Anon, they bought their tickets. They knew what htey were getting into!
*pounds for 3 minutes every 30 minutes*
a daring synthesis
What should he have used?
>press button
>hear "YOOOOOOOOOOOO"
>this activates for every button you press, and plays the audio clip in full each time

>YOOOOOOOoooooooOoOo
Could have at least splurged on an xbox or playstation controller
aerosmith to decent, led zeppelin to ascend
>100% no-crunch run using a GuitarHero controller
Mad Katz controller or bust.
It's incredible how they've made both some of the worst and best controllers of all time.
epic
>machinery that worked before all of the sudden fails, killing everyone
this is why I hate flying
The thing is, that fricking thing never worked properly in the first place.
It completed 13 dives to the Titanic before, moron. It wasn’t ever safe, but it obviously worked.
It's made of carbon fiber, not steel, each of those dives only weakened it.
Here is the kicker, everyone knew it was a matter of time till it failed. Because that is how CF works. So after every pressure cycle, you are supposed to inspect the CF for signs of failure. However since they used 5 inch thick CF, this made visual inspection impossible.
So oceangate installed an audio device that listen for signs of failure in the CF. However again, anyone who worked with CF knows that if the CF starts creaking, it is going to fail in a matter of minutes. And based on reports that are now being released, that was probably what happened. It was releasing ballast trying to ascend faster so while the death was instance, prior to the hull cracking, the crew probably heard the alarm and were trying to surface as soon as possible.
>it imploded due to sudden hull failure
Nitwit who believes anything. Terminally moronic.
>it imploded as they were ascending from technical issue
Average IQ. Nothing to be proud of.
>they were trapped down there and suffocated due to lack of oxygen
Above average IQ. Likely in the medical field.
>they were having an orgy and crashed into the seafloor
Genius from birth.
>they found what they were looking for in the hull of the Titanic. Explaining why they had made the trip before but this one failed. They were traveling down when they were killed by themselves from the future, simultaneously having made it to the Titanic and never made it. This paradox caused their future selves to phase out of reality and for the sub to implode.
you guys are ripping on the oceangate ceo too much. so what if he used a logitech joystick? us navy nuclear subs use them too, albeit xbox joysticks
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MMLvw6UJdF0
What confuses me the most is these people were so rich they could afford a $250,000 trip you would think they would have checked out the sub and seen it themselves before going yep this seems like a good idea
Or had an expert look at it an tell them it was a good idea, or has a member of their staff do that, idk...surely they could've paid someone to do something before just hopping in a death sentence
I kinda respect the CEO for actually going down with the sub
Guys stop b***hing about shit and keep posting Chernobyl memes.
>such a monumental frickup even white people are trying to say blacks did it
(laughs in black) not this time whites thats on you take that L stings doesnt it
>Why did I see a logitech g710 gaming pad controller for pc in the wienerpit?
>not using a notched Phob Gamecube Controller
I don't get why this story seems to be blowing up online. It's hardly surprising. Who would've thought that moronicly engineered garbage intentionally going into a very dangerous environment that was never meant for human beings to go ends up going completely disastrous and becomes another event with circumstances to marvel at because of the sheer stupidity of the combination of people, shoddy technology, and a highly dangerous unsafe environment. And the cherry on top of all of it are that the victims are some of the most arrogant and narcissistically evil and immoral within our society - the rich. This is both ironic and honestly makes them candidates to be some of the most deserving of a fate like that.
It's surpised me a little bit how much of the population decided to get buttmad about how other people spend their money rather than the deaths of five human beings.
>who had the control when the accident happened? who held the joystick?
>I am told it is the equivalent of a mild bench press routine
>gifrel is a collapse at atmospheric pressure
>the water around the shitcan was hundreds of times stronger
That collapse must have been instant
the gif isnt really the same as there was a vacuum inside the tank
but yes it was literally flattened instantly.
What do you guys think they found down there?
whale poop
Source?
more like top 100 slop renders from the largest SLOP challenge
isn't that making light of a tragedy?
>isn't that making light of a tragedy?
the "lol" is for this thread and no PR statement will use it anon
And it works the same
The controller is not used on the enviroment it's supposed to, so you can basically wash your hands on that
Rapture
The city would be completely gone by now. Even 10 years later in bioshock 2 there were building collapsing and shit. No matter how good their technology was, buildings can't survive that long in such a high pressure environment without constant maintenance.
The big daddies are not all dead and they are self sufficient.
As long as they are alive the city will remain somewhat intact to a degree.
water
Laugh as much as you want, but these type of men explored the known world (I won't say space since it's fake). They often perished but they did not wait for everything to be Hispanic and span. They seized the moment and plunged into the proverbial or literal depths.
>turns out Black folk did not build the sub
>a-actually it's good that the sub imploded!
homie they died instantly on a basic deep sea dive done thousands of times safely while playing battle toads with there logitech controller stop trying to upplay it white boi
>Hispanic and span
fricking lmao it's spick and span
>Laugh as much as you want, but these type of men explored the known world
it was the same driving factor that led great men to humanities greatest achievements that drove that lunatic to his death. but he wasnt doing anything that wasnt done before him thousands of times. building the first manned submarine that went to the deepest point in the world was a noteworthy achievement and that was done in 1959 mind you, 65 years ago
comparing that to diving to titanic in 2023 is like comparing the legend of philippides to sitting in your car today and driving 20 miles
But this field has already been conquered. This dude wasn't an innovator, he was a moron that cut corners and thought he was smarter than all the rules that exist for a reason. He wasn't going down in the first submarine and was the victim of early stage trial and error. If people want to look up to this clown as some kind of brave hero, more power to you. Hopefully you have a nice day just like he did.
Tentacolino is canon now.
Here's one, here's one.
What's as big as dinner plate

And lets you see the ocean 1300m down?
AN OCEANGATE WINDOW THAT'S SUPPOSED TO GO 4000m DOWN
I'm just disappointed that they
>didn't have the opportunity to murder each other on the ocean floor
>didn't fill up the peepee and poopoo buckets and fill the sub with stinky paki farts over several days
I hope someone makes a good moobie about it though
I thought it was weird that suddenly all the blame shifted to pajeets or women when the ceo with the whitest name chose to frick up his sub.
Can you imagine how annoying a man named 'Stockton Rush' must me?
Must have been*
>it was whites all along
Why am I not surprised.

good day today
>filmgay Adrian gets embarrassed
is this some eceleb bullshit?
You're dealing with something that has never occured in this Ocean before. *sighs* Mad Catz. Mad Catz and Joycons. Well, that;ll create problems of its own, but I - I don't see any other way. Of course, it's going to take thousands of tilts, because they haven't fixed the drift yet, so most of the units are going to lag catastrophically.
>...a $30 Logitech wireless game controller which is a knockoff of a madcatz wireless game controller of a knockoff xbox wireless game controller
How many submarines have YOU built anons, yeah he died but at least I built one
it didn’t even have a periscope
GOD i miss chernobyl threads
>as far as water pressure, CEO Stockton Rush reports no more than 3.7 atm
>im told its the equivalent of during a small child standing on your chest
the rapid pressure change pulled them apart instead of crush
how would they be pulled apart when the interior of the sub had less pressure than the exterior?
the rapid change in pressure pulled them apart instead of crush
please explain like im an idiot
i could understand that occuring in space but wouldn't the reverse be true underwater?
thought you were making fun of me cause i was being lazy
imagine in milliseconds, one part of your body is trying to maintain pressure and another is being pulled out of the sub
It’s not like a balloon popping you tard, it’s more like getting hit by a few hundred sedans simultaneously
you are a balloon when you're at 400 atmosphere
Anon, listen to me. The 400 atmospheres are on the outside. There’s no force that’s pushing you out, it’s 400 atmospheres pushing in on you
That’s why it collapsed. There was 1atm of pressure differential because of the vacuum, in deep sea there’s 400atm of delta p
and inside the sub it was trying to equalize the pressure
Are you being moronic on purpose now?
are you?
you think you're going to be compressed into a neat block?
i think you are describing exploding, not imploding
the concept is the same as its all about delta p with the surrounding body of fluid
>"true explorers"
The amount of stupidity in this entire thing is mind boggling.

Are the father and son even Titanic enthusiasts or are they just doing it for the kicks?
According to a family member only the dad was. The son was terrified of going and only went to please his dad.
So do you think future trips will cost more now that it's the site of two historical tragedies?
before i went to bed yesterday i saw a channel 9 news video that was put up on youtube 30 minutes ago at that time claiming they could have more air than previously thought. fricking moronic shit.
The stepson posting and news outlets counting down the hours of predicted oxygen as if the thing didn't explode days ago were the weirdest things
fun fact: the noises they were hearing every 30 minutes were from the Titanic itself, they weren't supposed to talk about that and so it has been memoryholed
>chief financial officer
>linux engineer
>ship crew
very few of the people pictured were involved in designing the sub moron
The 19 year old teen could have inherited a BILLION if he decided to not go down to Titanic. Sad.
so did the media pretend it hadn't imploded and kept up with the 'x amount of hours left' headlines because it made for a good story?
Why? Why would the media do this?
Money
so some liberal homosexual that thinks zoomers and Black folk are worth anything dies? wow, chuds really getting owned.
>WHERE IS THE SUB
>WE HAVE TO DROP DOWN TO 12000FT I NEED TO SEE
>"N-Noooo w-we can't do that"
>WHY NOT
>ENSIGN DROP THE SUB TO 12000FT OR I WILL HAVE YOU SHOT
>"Trust me if you sink below 800ft you will be begging for that bullet"
https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/21/us/titan-sub-safety-oceangate-employees/index.html
They had a boomer who was handling safety issues but refused to listen to him
I was kinda hoping they went all Event Horizon inside the sub over the course of 3 days.
It’s funny how all the media calls implosion the worst case scenario. It was definitely the best case. Worst case would be power failure, the ocean currents would turn the sub into basically a washing machine. Slowly banging around in a cold, dark, metal tube with four other guys as it fills with piss and shit and blood and vomit as you die of thirst. Literally hell.
Society in general has death completely backwards. Most people think dying in a hospital bed is more humane than having your head misted with a shotgun. They really don't think about these things very deeply.
There is clearly a female board member
Also several Slav names
>female board members
>doing actual work instead of sending emails to each other all day
Lmao.
one of the previous trips a diversity hire installed the thruster backwards and they only realised when they got there so they had to hold the controller upside down to steer it around the titanic
what bones?
you mean a very fine wet powder? because thats what their bones are now
>THE CONTROLER'S BATTERY CELLS ARE DEAD!
They look like arrogant fricking boomers. Remember people, arrogant fricking boomers are one of the main reasons why we have so much fricking diversity - a generation that had no struggle or challenges so they had to invent them by struggling against the "oppression" of normal civilization and listened to shit like The Who and Pink Floyd and other shitty classic rock.
What does being crushed into a 1mm cube feel like?
This is what I've been trying to visualize in my head but the fact that it happened 9x faster than the average human reaction time there wouldn't be anything to feel. You would be there, then absolute nothing.
Do you think they realised what was about to happen? Or was it all happy submarining until that fatal moment...
Any critical failure would have happened instantly at that depth, like they wouldn't have even noticed water coming into the tin can before they get turned into paste.
To paste you say...
submarine suicide booths when?
go back, homosexual.
Bags of sand.
it would be very painful
you wouldn't feel anything
You’re a big guy
bump
its like dying in your sleep.
This feels impossible to conceptualize. In my head I can slow down the implosion and just imagine the walls slowly collapsing in on them while they just sit there completely oblivious that the shell around them is pushing them together while the oxygen the breathe has ignited from compression and is melting their skin and flesh and before they could even comprehend whats happening the splitting metal/carbon fibre from the walls has skewered their bodies together or the water pressure has severed limbs from bodies
While dying in your sleep is just - dead.
just think about every "oh n-" gif
Even if their remains hadn't beem turned to mush, they wouldn't just float up to be found, they'd be eaten by ocean creatures. And even if they were miraculously uneaten they would be basically impossible to find because the ocean surface is vast and featureless.
Is it possible one of them smuggled a gun on board so he could shoot the Titanic but accidentally shot a hole in the submarine?
>gaming controller
>sub runs linux
They were doomed from the start.
this fricking show had so much soul...
and the thread is great
