no competent Hollywood writer would actually maintain the pro religion themes of the book with the Catholic church acting as a repository for civilization, let alone the weird assisted suicide scene debate scene in the final portion.
besides much as I dislike the series fallout already occupies the same niche when we remove the religion angle

they wouldn't be able to resist wokifying it and to make the criticisms it makes which are already left leaning even more obvious and remove all nuance.
Any books that involve significant timeskips that prevent any protagonists from persisting from the start of the book thorugh to the end will get absolutely massacred by TV writers to cater to dumbass modern audiences.
Case in point: Apple's abortion of a Foundation adaption
normies and lefties would be outraged at a series depicting this in anything but a bad light. Even a neutral take would be seen as endorsement of cultural an technological reaction. Their minds cannot deal with the idea of "Progress" stopping or reversing so are they convinced that it's inevitable
I don't understand people wanting their favourite books getting adapted on screen.
Result in most cases is an awkward compromise or a rape of the source material.
Video games are much better medium for book adaptation imho.
Please don't

Good post. Not only can the culture of today produce nothing of worth, it can only sully the wonderful glories of the past.
I wouldn't. Too precious a book to my heart to ruin it with an adaptation by modern hollywood.

miniseries or a long epic movie?
Miniseries would be better I think. Break it up along the different portions of the book
certified kino
There's a great radioplay version out there somewhere
I've actually heard it and was surprised how well done it was
A well produced TV show with a large enough budget will always be superior to a movie, that's my hot take.
Can you imagine if Dune 2021-2024 was made like game of thrones? Like GoT was before it was shit?
The only problem is the bullshit that comes along with advertising breaks, plus the tenancy for forced cliffhangers at the end of episodes

Fair point
>medieval society
>is actually in the far future
Such a kino trope
Thing is, 40K has kind of done this to death in the decades since this book was wrtten, so it's hardly revelatory or original anymore
40k isnt a medieval society tho
You don't know what 'Gothic' actually means, do you?
A Romanticist literary style?
Most people don't read toy line tie in novels

You got it bro, your soulless Ubisoft sandbox game is on the way
Okay, what's that from please?
It's extremely 40k-esque, proving my point further

>40k-esque
God I love it when autistic pedants are deliberately obtuse on the internet
40k isnt medieval at all
>my point
what is your point
>40k but with actual Christianity and not a substitute
Oh yes please, if only
reddit book
>a book where the Catholic Church save civilization and science after a social collapse
>implying Reddit would love it and not hate it
go to bed anon
What prompt/style? Looks pretty good.

There's only one man that can do it justice...
I would start by checking his early life section
