My grandfather was a scientist at a lab. He and my grandmother had three kids. She didnt work a day in her life. They lived in a big house with a big garden in the center of town (worth about one million) they also had a summerhouse with an enormous garden by the sea. They had architects built both houses. Bough classy furniture. Had a car and everything else. It makes zero fricking sense when i think about it. Even if houses cost shit back then. I work full time. My wife works part time. We life in a small apartment with our kid. We have a life long dept. No hope of ever owning a house or a good car. No savings.

Crazy how much things changed starting into the 60s in America, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Crazy to think about how not that long ago they used to be white and happy.

Australia is like 87% white, that number jumps up to like 91% if you include the meds.
If you live outside Sydney/Melbourne you are statistically unlikely to even see a nonwhite person on any given day.

lol should have gone public sector. Be a cop, get a lifetime tax-free disability pension after 20 years based on your final year, which of course, includes a fake promotion 3 months before you retire at 42.

Private sector normies don't understand just how much these pensions are worth. A typical cop's pension has a present value of SEVEN MILLION assuming he lives a normal lifespan. Of course white men now have a hard time getting public sector jobs.

Housing and rents have been fricked since the 90s. Idk about the USA but in the UK boomers also benefitted from MIRAS (mortgage interest relief at source) until 2000. This meant that their mortgage repayments were tax deductable lol... Average house was 3x average income. So today the average house price should be ~£96,000, for perspective in London it is ~£500,000 for a STARTER HOME as a first time buyer, Rest of UK is ~£300,000 average.

What's so mind-blowing is that now people are paying deposits (down payments) that 40 years ago in real terms would be enough to buy a house outright in cash. In London the average first time buyer deposit is £140,000 which is ~4x the average income... £60,000 rest of UK. The average deposit is higher in real terms than some houses were to buy outright in the 80s/90s. It's absolutely insane and will cause a revolution. Notice that the housing israelite is one of the few things that everyone under 40 hates. It's the only thing I have heard the left and the right complain about. /misc/ hates it, Reddit hates it, onions hate it... If it's not solved we're in for some serious shit.

Are you telling me normal people shouldnt get kids? Are kids only for rich people now?

Dept: three years in college, each and the apartment loan. Its lifelong because we only pay about 800 a month. That together with living costs makes it very hard to save up. Some months i have 200 left in the end of the month but that is soon gone. No we dont work at mcdonalds

a jingle writer was able to afford THAT. Dam the 90s was wild.

No idea what show this is from but I had a music professor in community college around 2008 who wrote jingles. He was in his 60s and his writing career was in the '60s-'90s and he was loaded from it. He was a supposed jazz fan but he was into dudes that played on Steely Dan records and late night show house bands and shit like that. At the time my favorite jazz album was b***hes Brew and he kept calling it Witch's Brew.

It's not even slightly far fetched. Chuck Lorre, who created the show, was a jingle writer himself early in his career.
He wrote the fricking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. Made him fricking rich.
He was also an alcoholic drug addict and womanizer. The show's practically a documentary.
